Washroom in poor shape and very poor wifi

It is right off the highway.

It is very rundown. It needs to be updated. We stayed there 5 years ago and what a difference in the rooms.

Location

The property is in need of repair and cleaning

Not much Old, old, broken doors Baseboards and bathroom gross. We pd 173.00 It wasn’t worth 73.00

Everything except the staff

Not much of a breakfast. Not many choices.

Building run down. Noisy.

The location is super! Very close to the hwy and easy to find. Lots of restaurants in the area. Very convenient. The lady I spoke to at the front desk was really nice and also bilingual. Being able to park close to the room was great. Pet-friendly.

Upon arrival I had to "inspect" the room quickly and then sign-off on it, I guess it's so I could not complain after. The room was not clean (I do accept that I should have been more thorough in checking so I accept responsibility for it) However, other travellers should know so they can do a better inspection. The price was very high for the type of motel that it is.

I didn't get to see the inside.

Receptionist was threatening to cancel my room if I didn't come by 11:30 pm. I did and she yelled at me anyway. I booked my first room and was told via app it was not available, so i reserved another. She wouldn't let me explain what happened or why, she was just pissed off I had two rooms and came in at 11:25. Not staying in a place like that.

Nothing

This is the second room I picked, I guess but for some reason the receptionist refused to hear me say "I only need one room" She just threw her hands up and told me I had two...I don't get why she couldn't just stop and listen, or I don't know...cancel the other room? Definitely irritating she did the condescending "listen, lady" tone when calling me "lady" over the phone despite knowing what my name is. She's just an awfully rude person.
