Easy access to freeway and basement parking very convenient. Safe neighborhood with local eateries close by or short drive away. Room was comfortable and sufficient wardrobe drawers for clothes. Great to have water machine downstairs. In room microwave very convenient. Plenty parking with three levels and no problem parking a SUV we rented. Small spaces clearly marked as “compact”. Breakfast is a bonus but pancake machine never worked during our stay. Front manager Marigold is a star. So helpful with advice on local area and especially fixing up our reservation which required a third party - so appreciated after a long flight and extreme jet lag from Tokyo. Thankyou!
Not a hotel specific thing but didn’t like that there was no kettle in room but there is hot water downstairs. Seems all hotels in US are like this. One lift only and always slow but this is a minor thing.

Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Das Frühstück war für amerikanische Verhältnisse meiner Meinung nach gut. Es gab Ei, Wurst/Fleisch, Cornflakes, Porridge, Milch, Joghurt, etwas Obst, Gebäck, Saft, Tee und Kaffee. Auch die Zimmer waren gut und modern ausgestattet und außerdem sehr groß (wir hatten ein Eckzimmer).
Dass man fürs parken 30$ pro Nacht zahlen muss. Wir hatten aber Glück und haben immer kostenfrei ein paar Straßen weiter parken können. Außerdem war durch den angrenzenden Highway etwas Straßenlärm zu hören, was uns jedoch nicht weiter gestört hat und die Fenster sind nicht zu öffnen was in Amerika glaube ich aber normal ist.

Location, cost, indoor parking, facilities well maintained, except for elevator didn’t work on our last day. There was only one elevator.

All was fine , breakfast was good option for family as we are vegetarians , and overall stay was comfortable.
Front desk was good , and i dont know if the card machine was working or not ...coz did not accept my card for several swipes. but its ok i had to call bank to unlock it being international card .

Hotel staff were truly lovely. Desk clerks and room and breakfast personnel, without exception, were friendly and helpful. The hotel is not in the midst of a tourist area but its location on Santa Monica Blvd and alongside the 405 is very convenient
in reaching those areas by car. Parking and breakfast were included in our rate and the breakfast provided, though basic, included all the major food groups and was more than adequate. Frankly, we booked on "price" and were not seeking
a pool, lounge, restaurant or other luxury amenities typical of more expensive accommodations. The cost of our 5 night stay was $1341.00

The property was very close to where I needed to be and was right off the freeway. it was easily accessible and the parking was good.
The area around the property was very sketchy. I would not feel comfortable walking around that area. There’s an alley right on the side on the hotel (who knows what happens there during the night), there’s a lot of trash around, and there’s a lot of homeless people around.

location was great, staff was always nice, especially marigold was always helpful but also the others whose names I didn’t catch. beds are really comfortable and there is a free water fountain in the gym
breakfast was more or less the same everyday, unfortunately nothing to make a sandwich like cheese or salami. but overall it was good

The breakfast buffet was a decent spread, although lacking in variety. The room was clean and everything worked as expected. The location is a mixed bag - While the proximity to Santa Monica beaches were a plus, its location at a junction with a freeway meant that navigating traffic was a problem at times
Paid parking charges were exorbitant ($30 per day). Found off street parking around the block adjacent to the Freeway that turned out to be handy. Also, its time to return to normal housekeeping norms and not have to specifically request it every day

Extremely friendly and accommodating staff, from the front desk, the cleaning staff, those cooking and maintaining the breakfast area. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was always well stocked. Good location near Sawtelle for walkable restaurant and cafes.
