I liked the location because it was close to the Mall of America.

The shuttle was supposed to run at the bottom of the hour but sometimes didn't run until the 40th minute of the hour.

The breakfast at Jake’s was a wonderful addition to our stay.

Breakfast was amazing, however, it was clear that the resteraunt was understaffed. The chef was great and the waitress was fantastic however she was running all over the place to get things placed on tables and ready for the next guest. Other guests as well as ourselves had to wait a long time to be seated due to being under staffed. This wait time could be avoided if an additional staff was assigned to the breakfast area.

The hotel is old and needs to be updated. The pillows were hard and thin. The in-room coffee service involved powdered creamer and a frustrating coffee maker. Not what you anticipate when you stay at a Marriott...

The front desk staff person was extremely helpful. Our reservation didn't come through from booking.com and he was able to help me get in touch with the customer service at booking, took the call from the booking.com person, and handled what was clearly a rude and belligerant person through booking.com with professionalism and persistence. He was able to get the issue resolved and was very accomodating to our large family of 5 waiting around in the lobby for over an hour!
