Everyhing was absolutely perfect during our stay!! From pre-concierge and their wonderful communication and recommendations, to the beautiful rooms, to the delicious breakfast and afternoon snacks, the location, the staff, the additional comforts- beach towels, chairs, etc. Jared Coffin House was wonderful!! The front desk staff and drivers were exceptionally amazing- so friendly, courteous, helpful, accommodating- a "5-STAR" staff at this place!!
There was nothing that we didn't like here... everything was wonderful and exceeded our expectations. We will definitely be staying here the next time we are come visit Nantucket!

Location couldn't be better. Breakfast was lovely. It would be nice if they would leave out the beverages and maybe snacks during the day or evening.
It's very expensive, but everything is in Nantucket. It was very cold in our room but they brought up a heater immediately. The staff are so friendly and kind.

Beautiful old Inn and building in a great location. Staff friendly and helpful.
Our room had some issues due to the Inn being an old structure. There was a pretty bad leak above a window and since we had the remnants of hurricane Ian, we had quite a bit of water dripping on the floor.

This a well maintained historic hotel. In a great location. It is very close to the ferry and downtown. Nice continental breakfast.
Only the suites are on the first floor. The stairs to the 2nd floor are steep and there is no elevator.

When you are paying over $600 per night, I would expect a great breakfast. Sitting on a sofa and balancing a bagel or muffin with your paper cup of coffee is not a desirable breakfast. A place like the Jared Coffin house should use pretty dishes and cups and saucers. There should be tables to sit at.
The bedroom was fair. The lighting on either side of the bed had desk lamps, not appropriate for reading. The view was awful. We kept the venetian blinds closed. The windows should have had curtains to soften the windows. The furniture was scratched and should be touched up.

The bed… was up against a wall so one person could not easily get out at night. The bed was very small and too soft, rolled to center.
No chair in the room. Had to sit in bed if you were there anytime except to sleep.
No outside sitting area unless you went to their restaurant.
Water for $3 a bottle. Two cans provided but other not readily available.
No real fruit at breakfast . Juice is not an alternative for most people. It is drinking sugar water.
The price is too high for these limitations at about $600
A night.

Great location, friendly staff, they had bicycles that you could use to get around, the Tap Room Restaurant is very good.
Be careful about which room you get — there are some lovely rooms that have been recently redone, and there are some that are awaiting redo. Make certain you are getting one of the redone rooms, as the older rooms are in rough condition.

staff was exceptionally nice and friendly, helpful and went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. In a severe rain storm they helped us with umbrellas get to their car for a free ride to the ferry. their complimentary car service (mile radius travel) is so helpful as walking w luggage to and from ferry is difficult.
rooms and decor are super old; if you like the old historic vibe it’s great; if you like more bright, white, airy hotel rooms this isn’t the place for that. but clean overall and comfy bed.
