There's was a badly patched hole in the bathroom ceiling. The bathroom door wouldn't shut and I had a my minor son with my adult daughter and her female friend staying in the same room because we were traveling from the Oregon coast to Iowa together. I don't like that they would charge a regular rate for a room that doesn't even function the way its supposed to, like being able to shut bathroom doors.

The location and the cost were very good. It is definitely a budget motel.

I thought there was a free breakfast, but there was not. You never knew if there was staff at the desk. The phone in the room didn’t work to even the front desk. The Internet is very difficult to connect to and when you do it’s too slow to run anything of value. when we pulled back the sheets well they look clean. It still looked like there were stains on the bed. I can say it wasn’t a great experience.

The Front Desk Staff was kind and helpful.

7 day stay and could not get them to clean our room once

The second lock for the door didn’t work because it was missing screws, the laundry wasn’t done well enough so we got dirty towels, the light in the shower didn’t work, and the a/c or fan for the room didn’t work so it felt extremely hot in the room.

The property was clean, and the desk associate was really nice. They only charge a deposit for your dog and the only rule is they can’t get on the bed. Extremely reasonable.

The dead bolt lock was broken & wouldn't lock and the latch lock was stripped. The room smelled of cigarette smoke & the bedding had burn holes in them. Also the bathroom didn't have a fan.

The gentleman that was at the counter was very nice.

The rooms were dirty. The heater wouldn't turn off, so the rooms were extremely hot. Made it hard to sleep.

The groom and bed had not been cleaned or linen Changed Wall in room was under repair. Insulation was exposed.

Discriminated against myself and my service dog. Argued for 10 minutes with front desk attendant about the law regarding service dogs. Resorted to calling my lawyer before he stopped arguing. LEARN THE LAW!

Low Motel 6 standards

Motel 6 is NOT supposed to charge for pets and they charge you $15 for one dog then tell you to keep the dog off the bed or you’ll be charged an additional $100 for a pet hair cleaning fee…BS!

they did not preset my room as I had asked for a ground floor room. I can’t do Stairs. And I have a Certified ESA canine that travels with me. they wanted me to pay for her to stay in the room with me.

This place is awful. Filthy outside. Dog crap in the walkway. Not enough water pressure to take a shower. Marketed to us as handicapped room...No ADA requirements in the room. No ADA toilet or shower. No safety rails. The help just said Sorry. Expected limited facilities due to being Motel 6..But this place was appalling

Comfortable bed

Upon check-in we were told the there would be a $10 fee for dog. Website states it is free. Also gave us 2 double beds and reservation was for single queen. Staff would do nothing to fix problem. Dog poop all over walk area. If they are charging extra for dogs seems they should use the money to clean up walkway.

I had no ac and went up there several times and said the would have someone look at it never did asked for a different room he said he had none when the whole time there might of been 5 cars in the lot

Booking.com listed this property as not charging a pet fee, but I was charged a pet fee on check in. Staff didn't care that I had booked specifically because the property description said no pet fee, although they did quote me a slightly lower fee after. No microwave on site despite photos showing it by the vending machines/ice. (When I messaged them in advance to check, I never heard back.) Fan was extremely loud, to the point of giving me a headache, and didn't seem to do anything; no other form of temperature control except to leave my window open, which as a solo woman traveler I wasn't going to do. Trash overflowing everywhere, including glass shards I had to navigate around every time I took my dog out. Then either my key card or lock started malfunctioning and I was locked out of my room for several minutes. Even for a budget room this was atrocious.
