No full size oven or refrigerator. Poor internet service and poor lighting in kitchen/dining room.

location quiet rustic no one bothering us. a complete getaway exactly what I wanted.

only complaint is the Wi-Fi never worked after repeated communication with the property manager. he was friendly and tried multiple times to fix the issue and communicated with me but it was never fixed and we were never able to use internet for tv at night.

kind of a middle of no where town so it was hard to shop for things we forgot to bring

.We come each year for snowmobiling. Accomadations and location are great. Wish there was more dinning choices.

We liked the location and that we had our own cabin.

Upon arrival we spent an hour removing all the living and dead flies and ladybugs, and we didn't even clean upstairs. Seriously there were hundreds and we threw 5 dustpans out the door. We realize the area and abundance this time of year of flies, however if someone just came in the same day we arrived the bugs couldn't have been vacuumed and cleaned out. After we cleaned up by opening all the windows and sweeping all the dead ones we only saw a few the rest of our stay. If there were more of us we would have had to clean upstairs too! The windows that look out over the field on the side the sun rises were streaked with dirt and hard to see through, the dew compounding the issue. There was a big brown stain on the edge of the bedspread which we didn't find until the next day, kind of grossed us out.

Amazing lodge, tons to look at, very cozy. Rooms were rustic, nice break from the media-spoiled life and into the boonies:) Staff was great, friendly, non-invasive.

The guy at the desk tried to charge me again for the room we already paid for so that's the only thing I can say to watch out for. Probably not used to many online bookings in Jackman, Maine. No AC, tho I get it is a lodge, but also no way to cool down with the pool closed as well. Next time I will go when the rooms do not need to be temp regulated in the summer.

Beautiful lodge, open and airy, picturesque. It inspired us to consider a family reunion here in the future, perfect for multiple families of all ages.
