Everything! The room was clean and comfortable and had all the little essentials. I had a very warm welcome and felt like nothing could be too much trouble. The location was great - a 5 minute walk to the sea front! So very happy with my stay.

The staff are very nice and welcoming and the rooms are kept tidy daily. Location was super convenient as it is a one minute walk from the seaside. There was an ironing board and iron which is great if you need them but don't want to take them on your trip.

There was supposed to be breakfast but they didn't have it on and that was not mentioned anywhere. Rooms are too small for 2 people so if you have luggage consider getting somewhere more spacious. The Wi-Fi didn't work at all as the room was on the 3rd floor, as well as the signal was bad so the internet we had on Roaming wouldn't catch it. This is a good property to only sleep in and then go on activities through the day, as it is quite old to have any aesthetic pleasure to relax in. Also the perfume in the hallways is nice but I'd kindly suggest changing it as it gives a feeling of an old house again. The staff makes the whole difference though so thanks to them for being welcoming.

The Caledonia Guest House is exceptional in every way and just as advertised on booking .com. I felt very welcomed by Jeffrey on arrival and the whole place is just run very professionally. Room was very clean and I was always asked if things were OK. Fantastic location for walking around the Hoe Cliff face & Barbican area. Great place and would highly recommend it to any traveler. Thanks for the hospitality, Jeff & Maria.

Room size could be larger for two people, not much space for walk. Only 1 chair and no table.
