We really enjoyed our stay here. The property feels very homey. The beds were very comfortable with firm mattresses and soft sheets. The views were spectacular. The kitchen has just about every appliance you could ever need, sometimes more than one of each. Cabinet space is a little limited as a result, but there’s a lot of counter space to store your food. The dining area has spectacular views and a large table with plenty of seating. The living room has one large couch and a chair. The couch is a super comfy West Elm couch that seats 3-4 people. The only inconvenience we found in the living room is all the plugs are far from the furniture and there’s only 1 side table, but that’s pretty minor. The bathrooms are nice, clean, and have plenty of storage space. The showers are nice, though the drain was a little slow. Access to the beach is great- it’s three blocks away, the beach is beautiful and secluded. The store that’s near by has just about anything you could ever want. The prices are high, but they have everything. We found a coffee infused maple syrup there that’s life changing. We felt very relaxed the whole time. WiFi is strong. I attended a three hour zoom meeting and my sister attended a 2 hour class via zoom with no issues. We stargazed in the hot tub and watched sunsets on the porch. We enjoyed the movies provided. Overall well worth the price. We drove up to Jug Handle Preserve for a spectacular hike and a white sandy beach. We drove to Mendocino and had candy cap mushroom ice cream. It’s a lovely house and a convenient location.

The photo in the listing makes the house look nicer than it really was. It was a little run down and who ever does the housekeeping needs to clean the spider webs throughout the house use something to get rid of the ants in the bathroom, master bedroom, and kitchen. There was ripped up chairs in the deck outside. Not sure why because we had no desire to sit on ripped up chairs. The jacuzzi was nice although it was really hard to get in once it was dark. The lights were burned out on the deck and it was pitched dark at night. Also, it stated in the rules of the house not to use the heating system and to use the fireplace. There was no wood to use other than the old branches outside. If the owner wants you to use the fireplace there should be wood for us to use. There was a video spot light outside the front of the house. Not sure why they were recording who was coming and going inside the house but found it inappropriate. You pay a significant amount to stay in the house and we found that we were being watched coming and going. Other then that, we enjoyed our stay.

The family vacation was great this year at this property. The house was everything we had asked for. It provides an amazing view of the ocean and provides everything you need for a getaway. We look forward to staying again in the future.

Great views of beach and wild life.

Initially, when we came in we were surprised by the boxes in the entry way, the stains on the couch, dog droppings in the yard, the ripped deck furniture, and ants coming in from the deck. But we washed some throws and used them to cover the couch and cleaned up the ants. There was only a few paper towels left, and we picked some up at the store. We then proceeded to have a lovely time. We rode horses, hung out at the beach, and enjoyed the breathtaking view and the wildlife. Overall, we had a good time.

One after our last vacation enjoyed a beautiful 4 day stay at Luna Sky property. Private beach access and beautiful views. Stormy to start and sunny at the end. Lots of bird life in the area. Spotted a bald eagle having breakfast. An amazing break and terrific family time! We shall return!

The house was a perfect place for a break, amazing views, clean hot tub that we used nightly, good TV options, an amazing bush that was full of hummingbirds. Our small dog was comfortable.

Arena, enjoyed a classic bowl of clam chowder in Mendocino and explored trails, beaches and forests. We are so grateful for the chance to get away from the smoke and from being inside for six months. We can’t wait to come back!

This was a great place to stay. It is pet friendly and close to the beach. We hope to come back when we can stay longer.

Somewhat rustic interior adds to the element of a beautiful secluded escape away with a gorgeous view of a private beach. Has everything you need hot tub, fireplace, TV, VCR, Internet or just unplug yourself and feel free to relax. 2 comfy beds and 2 baths, gorgeous view from the rear decks. What more could you want? Reasonable rates and a really sweet owner. Wouldn't hesitate to book again.

It's a very peaceful place. We got lots of relaxation and rest during our stay. Great location, and a wonderful view.

We had a lovely time. The house has many west facing windows which bring in a large amount of light and warmth, beautiful sunset views. Perfect size for our family of 5 and had everything we needed.

We totally enjoyed our stay. Cozy fire, fully stocked kitchen, comfortable twin/queen beds. All appliances work very well. Clear rules, full support of the owner. The house is good for a single couple or two couples. We enjoyed jacuzzi and great view of the ocean. The area is full of activities: multiple state parks, coastal trails, unique natural gems, great wineries of Anderson Valley, we even spent one day picking mushrooms in the woodlands and cooking mushroom soup after. We have only regret -we didn't have time to stay longer.

The property owner was very quick to respond to all of our questions and the rental process was easy. The drive up California's HWY 1 was spectacular! If you choose to drive Hwy 101, instead of Hwy 1, you will miss the beauty that the coastline provides. Each twist and turn of Hwy 1 offered another view that can't be described without being there. There are many cut outs and stopping points along the road that provide the advantage to capture these spectacular scenes. You will not be able to describe this area to your friends and family when you return home. We enjoyed the tranquility and quietness the Manchester area offers. Private and limited access to California's Irish Beach offers the ability to enjoy the ocean without the vasts amounts of distractions that might be associated at a public access beach. We also enjoyed the many smaller communities we found along Hwy 1. Many of these communities only have a few hundred people. We were able to converse with artists and gallery owners along the way that have chosen to make the California coast their home. At night we retreated to the hot tub where we were able to view the stars and milkyway that can not be viewed where we live due to the large city lights. We enjoyed our stay and would definatley recommend the home to others wanting to just get away from their daily lives. P.S. Also, try the steak burritos that the Manchester store has in their deli area.
