We had a nice time. The view was beautiful and our fa.ily enjoyed the snow.

We have stayed at this cabin for years and have unfortunately seen it decline. On this recent trip, we experienced mice running across the living room. We checked out immediately. After this experience and the poor cleaning- we will not be back.

The house is a charming throwback in terms of appearance but there were dirty dishes in cabinets and drawers and hairs in the bedding.

The view is stunning. The beds are comfortable. The cabin is large enough for six!

Rental is OLD, there are safety issues, patio, walkway, front door, shower door. Children and pets could easily get hurt. Inside is from 1960 and 70s construction and decoration. The furniture a d furnishings are from yard or thrift stores. Carpet is old and filthy. We left a day early, couldn't relax there or sleep.

First family vacation for us in a while. Only an hour drive from clovis for us. As we saw the cabin and the pond we knew it would be a wonderful vacation. My wife sat outside almost the entire evening just watching and listening to the quiet and the ducks. There was lots of space for our dog to run and play. There were trails that led to amazing views in every direction. The cabin was cozy and comfortable to all our needs. We visited a nearby lake that wasn't to crowded and easy to to get to. Everyone we spoke to was helpful and kind to us. We enjoyed ourselves so much we added an extra day We would of added more but the cabin was booked for the weekend. We grilled we laughed we reconnected. My wife never stopped smiling the entire time there. That made me smile.

Would stay here again. Location is perfect. I liked being at end of road. Very quiet and peaceful

The cabin was very nice. Had all the conveniences of home and the best part my grandchildren enjoyed they could walk down the balcony stairs and start fishing. Definitely would like to spend another weekend here.

Dirty dishes out of the cabinet and bo coffee or tea. Othereise the stay was nice. I had to call and wait on hold to get the email for the code sent.

We had a good experience at the cabin. We were in Shaver Lake for our son's wedding. The cabin was clean and in a quiet location. It was nice to seat on the deck and watch the baby ducks in the pond. Beautiful view seating on the deck. We were disappointed that we couldn't have other family members visit. I understand the limit was 6 but we didn't see why it would be a problem just to have visitors. Things to fix, clean bbq, blinds on deck side were hard to open and dishwasher needs to be secured. When I had the bottom rack out with several plates, the dishwasher was falling out.

The property was perfect for our family of 4 (3 adults and 2 children). Plenty of snow right outside to build a snowman and play. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking essentials. All bedrooms were equipped with small space heaters to keep you warm through the night. Living room was comfortable to hang out an watch the satellite TV with DVR. We cooked all meals at the house for our 2-night stay here. The neighborhood is very quiet and nice. Our only complaint would be the refrigerator never got cold enough to put food in it. We followed all instructions on the printout taped to the fridge and it never got cold. We made due with our ice chest from home, but any longer than 2 nights would need a working refrigerator. I recommend having it checked. Will stay here again, but only if the issue is resolved. Would have given 5-stars otherwise.

This property is a great family and pet friendly get away! The pond is beautiful and just a short drive the the sierras!

Property management didn’t provide dishwashing towels or sponge, please bring your own. Also didn’t provide extra trash bags for waste removal. There are a few pet stains on the carpet. Other than that, fairly clean. They asked that we run a load of dishes, but they didn’t provide enough dishwasher detergent for us to do so. We stayed 3 nights and only received 2 detergent packets for the dishwasher. Overall still a great place to stay.

This is a great little cabin we have visited multiple times but this time it was not clean. I scrubbed countertops that were visibly dirty and had food stuck on them and also swept up a considerable amount of dog hair from the wood floor. Clearly the cleaning service is a quick-job and not a thorough clean. Carpets are looking pretty poor since our last stay 2 years ago. Owners should probably plan to have carpeting replaced often if pets are allowed. They are badly stained to the point we put down blankets while sitting on the floor. Did not appreciate the new camera pointing at the deck/ front door. Felt like we were under surveillance the entire time. Too bad. We have loved this cabin and it’s location.
