Highly recommended for location and view of the Caribbean Sea. We have stayed at this condo several times and plan to do so again.

First off - Susan is a tremendous host. Her communication prior and at time of arrival was spot on and so appreciated. The view from the unit was magnificent. And the pools and private beach made staying "at home" perfectly fine for a couple of our days. The unit had an array of beach related items that we used each day we went to the beach (chairs, coolers, umbrellas, etc.). HIGHLY recommend this place - and the size of the unit made it feel like we were living back at home and not in a cramped hotel room or small condo.

We loved our time in the condo. The two pools were wonderful and the beach was spectacular. We enjoyed sitting on the deck at night watching the ships sail by.

A beautiful condo, in a wonderful building. The terrace is your own piece of heaven. With a nice breeze- perfect place to enjoy a glass of wine and a good book. Susan is an excellent host- very good communication. We loved the convenience to walk to Jordan Village, enjoy sunsets on the small private beach. We hope to return again!

All you can ask is the property you rent is as advertised, as pictured, and good easy communication with the owner. All three of those boxes were checked off immediately . Perfect location , great balcony, great private beach steps away, friendly people everywhere. What more needed ? Good security on the property as well. Highly recommended especially for first timers. Owner will be your unofficial tour guide !!

This was our first seven-day stay on the island. We visited the island a couple of times through cruise vacations. The unit was absolutely beautiful and the beach and pools were stunning (as described by the owner, Susan). Susan provided us with detailed information about the property, local restaurants, beaches, casinos, grocery stores and area entertainment. This was incredibly helpful! Susan is a wealth of knowledge and always responded within a day of our inquiries. The privacy and gated area made us feel very safe and the gate attendees were super (especially Sophia!). The people on the island were very friendly. We rented a car and drove on both the Dutch and French sides of the island to see the sights and cultures. We will definitely consider staying at this resort again. Susan definitely made it special for us. Thank you.

We loved this specific unit and the property so much. Building is beautiful, unit is spotless and very well stocked with basic amenities, HUGE private terrace and a balcony both with views that will blow you away, host is fabulous and is in close contact to address any questions and she is full of great suggestions. Having the ability to walk to get fresh croissants in the morning and a panini in the afternoon to enjoy by your choice of quiet pools or the gorgeous private beach watching catamarans go by can’t be beat. Property is well maintained and secure and parking is a breeze. Carrefour Express is walkable and has all the things you would need to cook in the beautiful kitchen. Several great restaurants walkable as well. Quick drive to Maho village, Baie Rouge, Porto Cupecoy and so much more. Other guests/owners at Rainbow were very friendly as were all the employees. Will definitely be back!

This is the third time we've stayed at this property. You can beat the view and location. Everything is close - restaurants, beach, pool and grocery stores. This property is very secure. The owner and management are always available if you have any concerns. Lovely property with a killer view!!! We hope to stay again soon.

Sint Marteen was terrific, the Rainbow Beach Club superb - great location, easy, plenty of space, easy process, etc.

What an amazing time my husband & I had at Susan’s Island Home. Pictures & words cannot completely describe what a spectacular view this penthouse condo has from the balcony! The pictures on VRBO were beautiful & in person the view is breathtaking. We spent a lot of time out on the balcony just looking out at the Caribbean Sea. We also went down to the private beach many days, just bobbing around in the water on the noodles that are provided, sitting back in the chairs & taking in the view. There is 24/7 security at the complex, so we felt very safe our whole visit. We also rented a car, saw the island, went to Maho Beach & watched the planes come in from the water. Went to several other beaches & bar/restaurants. Each unique in its own way. One of our favorite places was Fat Tony’s, which is very close to the condo. Good food/drink & an amazing & friendly staff. Also, went to Rusty Rocket Rum & Burger Bar (near the airport) a couple times. Best burgers we’ve ever had & very friendly staff there too! If you ever get the chance to visit St. Maarten, you will not be disappointed if you stay at Susan’s place.

The views were spectacular! We spent a lot of time on the balcony watching the boats and the airplanes landing. The small, private beach was nice and unique. The pools were clean and refreshing. There are several good places to eat within walking distance-Jules, Fat Tony's, and Cupecoy Brasserie. There were several others that we didn't have time to visit. A short driving distance down the road was Big Cees Waterfront Dining, Mama, and Le Mediterraneen. Also, Rendez Vous Lounge had amazing gelato! Mullet Bay Beach was a short walk and a nice beach area. Highly recommend renting a car and driving to different areas of the island. The condo was very spacious and clean. Cupecoy Bay- perfect location!!!

I really wanted to give this more than 5 stars because it was Simply Amazing 💚 The spectacular views this home offers was perfect. You can hear the sounds of ocean waves which is just the sound you want to hear when on vacation. Everything about the home was just right.... has everything you need ... its also in a great location with a market right across the street. Restaurants in walking distance(completely safe to walk around the streets to get food or just to walk). The private beach was also perfect too... I took some amazing sunset photos and videos 💛 Jerry the property manager was so helpful with anything that I needed. He also helped me find a rental car location which was a 5 minute walk from the home so convenient. Susan I just want to say thank you for your wonderful home and being such an amazing host. You were so helpful with answering any questions I had. All of your wonderful suggestions on where to go and places to eat were 👌 perfect too! I rented a car and explored the island like you suggested and it was the best thing I did. I got to really see your beautiful island of Sint Marteen. Your home is simply amazing 💚 THANK YOU! I WILL BE BACK 😊

Susan was great and gave us a lot of information about the surrounding area to include excursions and restaurants. Very responsive and the condo was beautiful with a spectacular ocean view. Would definitely stay there again.

The room amenities were basic. No extras. We stayed in a unit down the hall last year that was in much better shape with better amenities. We like to cook once in a while during our stay and it was a bit more challenging than our last stay. Also had to finish their laudry when we arrived. Also, only one trash can in the entire condo for the kitchen. None in the bathrooms. The patio is definitely underused with uncomfortable furniture.

We stayed for 10 days at the condo & very much enjoyed it. Susan was very good at responding and had many suggestions on things to see & do. Check in was seamless & easy. Loved the parking garage. The large patio was so good to sit and relax on. The small patio we had morning coffee every day. The views are phenomenal. We lacked nothing while we were there. Several very good restaurants within easy walking as well as groceries. Sea turtles swimming below us every morning. So relaxing and nice. Nice quiet complex-we loved that. We are not party animals-we go on vacation to sit quietly & relax. We were able to do this with ease. We would rent this condo again. We are going to try to come back. We would love to come back if life permits!

We were two couples so the condo was perfect for us. There are two br. with adjoining baths as listed. Kitchen had all the essential items needed although we didn't cook as we prefer to go out for dinner while vacationing. View was spectacular! We used the balcony alot. Beach and pools were very nice. Owner was very responsive to any issue. Spotty wifi if that is important to you. Tv only has netflix but we didn't watch it much so it wasn't a big concern. If you don't want to rent a car there are vans that go between Marigot,Phillipsburgh and Maho daily for $2.00. Would definately go back!

We've stayed at many condos and vacation rentals throughout the Caribbean, Florida and Central America. We opted to go back to St Maarten because of the people, ease of getting around, the food, culture, beaches and snorkeling. What makes it particularly unique is the French side and the Dutch side. Rainbow Beach Club is on the west side of the island (Cupecoy) located about a quarter of a mile from the French side. It's an older property, but not outdated. This is the "gold coast" side of the island. Both pools (one salt water, one freshwater) were very nice. This unit overlooks the salt water pool, the sunsets, the ocean and part of Simpson Bay shopping/beach/casino area. There are many options for food whether pizza, BBQ, Italian and French, including more upscale within 2 min walking distance. Cupecoy Port, is also a safe short walk or 2 minute car drive with restaurants, shops, and even a casino along with Cupecoy beach across the road. Eating alongside some pretty nice yachts on the port was a nice experience. We had a car so visited Grandcase, but liked Marigot much better given it's stores and the Market. Phillipsburg is a 25 minute drive for the boardwalk and Front street shops. Divi Bay near Philipsburg has the best snorkeling from the beach. The beach located in front of the unit is small and situated below a cliff. It has a lot of wave action, but is THE most picturesque. You'll take amazing sunset photos from here. Hands down our daughter's favorite (19 year olds). They took so many amazing photos, people were in awe. As for the unit, I'm going to say if you are looking for all new and top of the line fixtures and appliances (the Ritz), this is not for you. However there is nothing "bad" it's just aging and has been maintained very well. When we walked in we could tell and smell it was freshly cleaned. Beds are medium, more on the firmer side. No complaints. Susan periodically checked in on us which I truly appreciated. The value for location and all the above cannot be beat. If you want to tour the island, suggest renting a car across the road and also getting supplies from the market across the road. They have everything, not joking and super nice.

Cupecoy seems to be the best area of the island. Gated complex was great. Short walk to wonderful restaurants and market. The private beach was the highlight of the stay for us. The pools at the complex that face the ocean were nicely maintained. The unit itself has a spectacular ocean view and the sunsets were lovely. We also had a great view of the multiple fireworks displays on New Year’s Eve. Susan was a great host who communicated promptly and professionally.

This was exactly what my wife and I needed after a very hectic 2022 to relax and unwind. The view was awesome the relaxing feeling that came with it was even better. Susan was on point with all communications and information.

This gorgeous condo was located close to the Dutch/French border in Cupecoy making it very easy to travel wherever we wanted each day. We spent the mornings drinking coffee on the huge balcony overlooking the sea and then headed out to explore for the day. The host gave great suggestions for beaches and restaurants which we really appreciated. We returned each evening to enjoy a drink on the balcony before heading out to dinner. After dinner the massive sun deck was perfect for star gazing. I highly recommend this condo. It is beautifully and comfortably decorated. The host provided so much great information prior to our visit. We would definitely rent this property again.

4.5 stars is a more accurate rating for how we felt about this condo and we would definitely stay here again if we went back to St. Maarten. It's in Cupecoy which is a quieter area of the island vs. Maho and Simpson Beach areas. The condo was very comfortable for 4 adults for 2 weeks. It is close to 2 small grocery stores and a handful of decent restaurants. If you're staying longer than a week, you probably want to rent a car to get around to do a few things and see the island. Sax Car rentals was amazing to deal with. They delivered the vehicle to us at no charge and picked it up for a $10 fee. Well worth it since taxis are expensive. There was a bit of a mix up upon our arrival and Susan was excellent to deal with on this and Jerry went above and beyond to help us out. The condo is on the 6th floor, but there are elevators if mobility is an issue. The view is as spectacular as the photos show. The private beach is wonderful. Every day we used the noodles to simply bob around in the waves for about 1/2 hour. I'm trying to make this review useful, so here are a few minor details that would have gotten this condo to 5 stars for us: 2 of us like to cook so we eat most meals in. The kitchen is adequately but not extensively equipped. We found the mattresses to be too soft for our liking. Beach towels could have been more plentiful and larger. The air conditioner in the main bedroom made some unusual noises periodically - once or twice in the middle of the night. But we were very glad to have it and it would not stop us from going back. The wi-fi was inconsistent on a few days. There wasn't much shade available at the pool. There weren't a lot of people at the resort while we were there and I can see that during high season pool chairs would be hard to come by. We didn't often stay by the pool opting for the beach and the lovely balcony this unit has. The umbrellas for the patio aren't useable as the screw that holds them upright has rusted. Don't let these issues stop you from staying here. As I said at the beginning, we wouldn't bother looking for anywhere else to stay, we'd want to go back to this condo. Some highlights of our trip: The fish market in Marigot (fresh red snapper) Lunch at Rosemary's in Marigot The America's Cup Regatta (we booked through St. Martin Blue. It's very odd since this site is mainly an accomodation booking site) The BBQ beef brisket at Fat Tony's Dinner at Emilio's (for a special occasion)

My 3 girlfriends and I booked a long overdue vacation and couldn’t have been more thrilled with Susan’s Island Home. The views of the ocean and coastline were breathtaking, the private beach was stunning and the pools were a lovely refresh after long days in the sun. We rented a car so we could explore and was able to travel around the entire island with ease. Susan’s home was in the perfect location for everything we wanted. We had everything we could need provided in the home. There is also a lovely little cafe, Jules, down the street we frequented everyday for a cappuccino and a pastry. Just a perfect experience. We will be coming back!

Great place to stay!

The location was spectacular. Incredible ocean front. In addition Susan provided no less than concierge service. She responded to my multitude of emails emails quickly. She gave us so many suggestions of things to do in places to go. The unit was well appointed and clean. The private beach was absolutely amazing.
