Oh my goodness! What a gorgeous home! We came to Colorado for our daughter’s wedding and our immediate family stayed at the house. Online description is exactly as described! PLENTY of space, fully stocked kitchen, amazing views and the decor throughout the house is beautiful. It really is a perfect getaway location! 10/10 recommend!!

We had nine adults stay with us at the VRBO. The house was amazing and the sunrise and sunsets were beautiful! Our bride and bridesmaids got ready the day of the wedding at the house and the primary bedroom and on suite was perfect! The house was well stocked with everything we could ever need. I would recommend this majestic home for a large group of people coming to Colorado Springs. The Black Forest and all its beauty complimented this house. We felt like royalty! The hosts were readily available and answered all our questions! When we come back to Colorado Springs we would definitely rent this home again!

Re: 3 stars for 'Accuracy of online listing' - they've since changed/updated it. Be aware that the 'dining room which seats 10-12 people' only seats 10 and the twin beds would be cramped for anyone over 5'5". Otherwise, a beautiful place in a beautiful setting. Responsive hosts both before and during. I was one of 10 adults and 2 early teens and plenty of space for all of us.

We loved staying in this beautiful and well-equipped house again for a wonderful family vacation in Colorado Springs. My granddaughter was thrilled to find a deer looking in the downstairs window one morning. We found that the house was close enough to visit our choices of the many sights to see in the area. The view from the front window is majestic!

It was a fabulous place to stay for a family get together. It was beautifully decorated. The amenities were excellent. We enjoyed the privacy, but it was also accessible to restaurants, grocery stores, etc in the town of Monument. Our whole family would definitely recommend this property.

Everything about this property is lovely! The views, the accommodations, the location all deliver. This is our second stay at this property. First in winter and now in the summer and both stays were there wonderful.

The house was beautiful and very convenient to the wedding venue. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed for breakfast and lunch. The shower on the main living area was tricky to use, but we figured it out. We would stay there again.

The property exceeded our expectations. The view was great. The available space allowed for the 12 of us to deal well with moments of bad weather. The kitchen was well-equipped. The location allowed easy access to Colorado Springs. There are a couple of maintenance needs, but nothing significant enough to prevent us from wanting to return for another visit.

The property is fabulous and it was perfect for our large family. We had people coming in from three states to meet in thw middle and everyone was comfortable. The views are spectacular and it is close enough to the major attractions at the Springs to get everywhere pretty easily. Plenty of space to share laughs and enjoy nature at the same time. Wonderful!

Our family had an incredible stay at this beautiful home in the perfect location. Short drive to the Air Force Academy and lots of dining, shopping nearby. Views from the deck are incredible in a peaceful, very private setting. We would love to rent again.

Beautiful home! Tons of space, isolated and very well maintained! There’s plenty of places for shopping and eating nearby. It was the perfect spot for us to stay and at a center distance from all the cities we visited. The owners were very responsive as well, very quick and nice people. Would definitely book again!

This place was perfect for our family Christmas. The views were spectacular. The house is lovely and had everything we needed. Great for families with plenty of space downstairs for kids. This is an amazing place. Everything was exactly like the pictures. The house is very well equipped, neatly decorated and landscaped. Everything clean and easy to access. The property managers were very easy to communicate with and friendly. It has a stunning view of the mountains! 5 stars all around and we recommend this house hands down with zero reservation! The only thing we regret is not having spent more time in it!

I had a great experience with this property rental. The process was easy as well as the communication with the owners. When we arrived I was very impressed with the home and property. Wished we had booked it for a longer stay. The view of the mountains was absolutely breathtaking!! Loved the scenery and privacy.

Loved the views of the mountains and Air Force academy. Short driving distance to the city, but you feel like you are in the wilderness. Can’t really see or hear traffic or neighbors. Wonderful wooded lot! House was perfect for eight people. Could have easily held more. Just a great house. Rent it, you won’t be sorry.

Very nice property and well maintained. Of course, we hit Colorado the first week of September during 90+ degree days which made the basement a little stuffy. Thankful for cool evenings. Will recommend this home and would stay again.

Stayed for a USAFA event. Location was close and the views spectacular! House was very clean and had everything we needed. Owners were wonderful and responsive. Only issue we had was intermittent wifi/cell connections. Will be back!!

This vacation home was BEAUTIFUL with a BEAUTIFUL view of the mountains. The home was well furnished and plenty of comfortable room for more than one family. This home was 5 stars all the way except the 4 starts on the AC . . . it did have AC upstairs, but not downstairs, and while the notice on the thermostat had a note that stated the unit would freeze if set below 72, the unit froze every day if left on at all . . . so not comfortable coming in from 80+ degrees outside to 83 inside every afternoon. That said, there were numerous fans in the home and the owners were very pleasant when called and even came to the home to check the AC unit first-hand and offered to relocate us to a hotel . . . with grandchildren ages, 8, 6, and 5, and visiting the area for a wedding with all the preparation for that, relocating was not worth the hassle. Unfortunately, their AC installer was apparently unavailable and they were uncomfortable allowing anyone else to work on the unit due to possible warranty coverage issues. All in all, we enjoyed this home so much that I would stay again, even given the AC issues, but my husband would not without a guarantee that the AC unit was properly working and had been extended to the basement rooms. So again, 5 stars minus improperly working AC . . . hope this is repaired before next visitors and hope we can stay again soon when this AC issue is resolved! Thanks for sharing your beautiful home!

My family came from out of state for a Wedding in Castle Rock. Six adults and 4 kids. Plenty of room to spare. We didn't need to go anywhere except the wedding - we had a blast playing ping pong, air hockey, and exploring the property with the kids. They spent all day outside in the forest. The house was spotless and comfortable. Views are better than you'll expect. Feels like you are isolated but so close to run into town for food. We have no reason to take another trip there, but I think we might make it a destination just to relax at this house!

We had a wonderful stay. Home was beautiful and equipped with everything you could possibly need. The view of the mountains was magnificent!! Our family totally enjoyed our stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this wonderful house with incredible views! The pictures don't do the house justice...it is so spacious and well-appointed. You can tell the owners have considered everything someone might need and provided it. The kitchen was so well-equipped that it was like being in the kitchen at my own house. There was plenty of room and seating for our large family group of 9 to spread out and be comfortable. The house isn't too far from the sights of Colorado Springs. Most of those were about 30 minutes away. We did visit the wolf sanctuary in Divide which was our longest trip of almost an hour but the drive was beautiful. We loved spotting the hummingbird every day as it visited the beautiful flowers around the house and then flew between two fir trees. Everyone in our group raved about how wonderful the house was with my granddaughter telling me it was the best house we have EVER stayed in for vacation! Thank you to the owners!

Great location and view of mountains. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. Issues included worn out furniture, poor/no ventilation in the downstairs (where the bedrooms are) and finally really needs a deep cleaning: After first night woke up with stuffed noses due to dust. The house has decor which collects a lot of dust ( baskets everywhere), but you could also see a layer of dust on a wall clock and hangings, and when toddler patted her hands on an upholstered dining room chair, you could see the dust fly up from the chair. Yikes. Overall it was a good enough stay. But expected and should have been better at this price point.

I would recommend this house to anyone. One of the best locations we’ve ever been to…and we’ve vacationed for 20 years in a row so that’s saying a lot.

I can't say enough about how beautiful this house is and how amazingly welcoming John and Brooke were both before and during our stay. The location, views, and amenities in the house are exceptional, and I say that as a 20-year VRBO Owner/proprietor myself. The house is perfect for family get-togethers or just enjoying the peace and quiet, the views of the AF Academy and Pikes Peak are amazing and the surrounding scenery/wildlife are something you have to see to believe. I highly recommend letting John/Brooke host you, you will not be disappointed!
