Warm, relaxing and perfect for what we needed. A great base for climbing the mountain and going to the beach.

Property is brilliantly set up for beach holiday. Located short walk from beach or shops, but away from the bustle. Thoughtful design includes concrete floor and outdoor shower. Also opening skylights to keep house cool while you are out and overnight. Securely fenced too. Ticked all the boxes and is well hosted. Highly recommended

The house works really well for us, and we get to bring our two little dogs on holiday with us which is an added bonus. It's only a brief walk to the local beach and foreshore walkway.

It meets all our needs, is comfortable, private, warm, very sunny and quiet. Added bonus is the proximity to the local beaches and foreshore walkway, as well as local coffee shops, and the property is also dog friendly, which has meant we can bring our dogs with us on holiday.

Reviewer Comments: We've used this great holiday rental a few times now, and love it's location and decor (the rain shower is amazing), and the cream on top of the cake is that it's dog friendly, so our little dogs get to come on holiday also. It's fully fenced, and gated (although there is a large gap at the bottom of gate, something dog owners need to be aware of), but the section is private, and very child and doggy friendly. The house is only a short walk to amazing west coast surf beaches and the legendary Coastal walkway. Nearby you will find fabulous coffee shops, cafes, and restaurants/bar. We give this place a 5 Star rating.

Reviewer Comments: First impressions from the outside the place looks nice...but we arrived in the afternoon and when we walked in it was like a hot box as it is all black steel outside including the roof . We opened the windows downstairs and it cooled down a bit BUT upstairs had tiny windows so they were next to useless. It was a hot night so we could not sleep as the place was 24 degrees plus. They has ****** little fans that were useless and the blinds rattled all night with the little beezee's there was...**** of a bad night. We nicely asked to leave the next day offering to pay for the 2nd night but asking for the 3rd night to be refunded...Joanne the host was totally unprofessional and refused to give anything stating if we thought we were getting aircon it was never mentioned NO Joanne we never expected aircon we just expected a decent place to stay not a sauna hot box....Just be warned people if its a hot time of the year DONT stay there and dont expect any help from Joanne as she is unprofessional and very unhelpful...she offered to bring more fans over but only the following day after we would have to endure another night in a sauna. We moved to a very nice place and enjoyed our last two days in New Plymouth no thanks to Joanne. Also there was pubic and human hair on the towels in the bathroom which Joanne said was not possible but IT was...and the floors were gritty and stained and the rugs were stained and old looking.
