A very nice place to do winter sports with some friends. Well equipped kitchen with great stove. Nice living room with quality furniture and a cozy fireplace. Ski bus stop only 150m away. If there is enough snow in the valley, you can skate on the way back with skis from the sports field over the meadow to the chalet. The supermarket nearby is well sorted and quickly accessible. I would recommend this chalet for 6 to 7 people. But a few things are less nice: The striking plate of the door lock to the largest bedroom on the upper floor was only temporarily repaired (with just one screw). The house is relatively noisy in some rooms due to the thin wooden interior. The roof beams are somewhat low in the stairwell and bathroom on the upper floor. This may make taller people hit their heads. Unfortunately there is no active ventilation in the bathrooms, just a ventilation grille to the outside. Obviously for space reasons, the ski boot dryer, which is suitable for only 4 pairs of shoes, is located in the living area. But none of these are real problems. You can handle it well. Unfortunately we were unlucky with the stormy warm weather in the first days, but during that time we had a funny time in the chalet. Afterwards four days of snow and sun and blue sky sweetened the rest of our vacation. Communication with the owner was excellent. Many thanks for everything.

Chalet Louis heeft alles wat je maar wensen kan voor een ontspannende en geslaagde skivakantie! Pluspunt: het haardvuur en de goed uitgeruste keuken! Heel ruim chalet en met smaak ingericht!

very pleasant stay. very beautiful chalet. good bedding. small detail: lack of space in the cupboards to put the food of the tenants. radiator shoes very useful. quiet cottage and close to chatel and plenty so we can enjoy the 2 ski resorts. thank you for the speed of your messages. Anne-Laure

Spacious and very well equipped chalet. Perfectly cleaned when we arrived. Heating is good when you get to understand how to manage it but Mike has explained everything in the guest guide inside the chalet. Location is perfect to access ski lifts in 10minutes in chatel as well as services and restaurants in La Chapelle 5 minutes away. We do recommend very warmly this chalet.

We really enjoyed our stay ,perfect location for a self catering family holiday , 3 mins walk to the bus stop that took you to either Châtel or La Chapelle-d’Abondance. Main supermarket is 5 mins walk away. Chalet it’s self was immaculate couldn’t ask for anymore
