My husband, friends, and I came here for my Birthday. It was a perfect trip from frolicking in the woods, to fishing on the dock, and just being away from reality.

We had a wonderful time. The house was very comfortable which was very important as it rained some almost every day. The porch was a highlight for us.

we were in town for a couple of shows in Saratoga so we did not have a ton of time at property. But the time we did get to spend there was very nice and we would for sure return

Stonehaven is a heavenly getaway. It’s so quiet and yet has everything you need during your stay in Caroga. Everyone in the area is super friendly. Trent made this stay super easy and I recommend this beautiful cabin to everyone needing some time in the woods.

Almost strategically placed for us. We came to stop over for a trek to the baseball hall of fame and visit some local towns and shops. This time of year the temperature can change in this region. I was hoping for snow, the wife was hoping for heat. We got the in-between.

It was a nice quiet location and great for relaxing. We visited Howe caverns (amazing!), via aquarium and Utica zoo while we were there. Perfect distance from the cabin. Also hiked to the Kane mountain fire tower. Only thing that could have been better, the floors were dirty and had dog hair. But besides that, we loved the place! Child friendly too !

We stayed here during spring break to get away from our day to day life. We enjoyed our stay & especially liked the extra touches at the cabin such as the board games/card games stocked. The lake was beautiful as well.

Love this place. will have to try it in summer.

This is the absolute PERFECT property for an Adirondack escape, any season. Stay and chill it basecamp and explore. It’s the perfect spot to have a quintessential Adirondack expirence.

My friend and I were touring historical sites in the north state. This property was ideal for our visit. The house is spacious, beautifully appointed, and a real bargain. If I am ever in the area I will surely look up our friends again.

This charming cabin in the woods was perfect for our group of 6 adults. The owner was responsive to my inquiries and everything was clean and as expected upon arrival. The floors had radiant heat so the cabin was toasty. Would definitely stay again!

I can't get enough of this place. We had everything we wanted. A combination of a camping experience with all the comforts of 2022. Peaceful, private, beautiful. My kids are already asking when we can go back. Hosts were super helpful and kind. House of filled with everything you might need (bring towels). Lake is a short walk (not easiest with a bunch of younger kids but doable and worth it). The firepit and outdoor seating area were so nice. The cabin has a great ambience and overall there aren't enough stars to rate this place, it's above and beyond. Thank you to our hosts for having us, we loved every minute!

It was amazing, me and my family loved it! It was a beautiful adventure and this is totally a dream house, definitely we will be back soon! Very clean and he has everything you need in a home.

We stayed at Stonehaven for a cousins reunion. We have such fond memories of our family camp on Caroga Lake and Stonehaven was a great place to reconnect with our love of Caroga. Thank you for your hospitality…we look forward to many more returns to Caroga Lake.

Wonderful place to stay in the southern Adirondacks. This has become our go-to place for a winter getaway. Love the heated floors and wood stove!

Perfect place for a long weekend! The house has a great fire pit, well-stocked kitchen (even a crock pot AND brownie pan), and fabulous radiant heat floors. We had such a great time going to several area hikes. Thank you so much!

My daughter picked the property and we were very happy with her choice. We brought too many supplies thinking that we would need them, but it was all provided in the house. It was still early in the season so it was very quiet around town. It was restful and we wished that we had stayed a few more days. We may book again in the future.

Well kept, comfortable, just what we were looking for. Awash in natural beauty.

We had a great stay here! The cabin was very clean & comfortable. It’s sits on a mostly private road & property. There was no one at the property next to us when we came. There is some trees & brush separating you from the 1 next to it. The cabin is beautifully decorated & plenty of room! Beds were comfortable. The 1 thing I wish there was is a clock in main bedroom. Other than that it was perfect! Outside is very nice with a nice fire pit & porch! We loved that the porch was on side of house with no cottage right next to it. 1 of the reasons we chose this property was because we could bring our dogs! It is very dog friendly & they even had bowls out for the dogs! We walked our dogs down to the water every am. It is a short walk but there are many stairs to go down to get to it. Wasn’t a problem except our dogs were so excited to swim they’d be pulling us down them! Lol But it was a great place for them to go! There is also great hiking nearby to go. We hiked at 9 corners lake trail which was perfect! Dogs went swimming there as well! This was a perfect time to go & enjoy the beautiful leaves! Overall great time & place to stay! Would highly recommend!

We loved our stay at Caroga Lake! The property is clean, cozy and comfortable which made for a relaxing and easy break from the routine. We loved the indoor space as much as the outdoor. It was extra special with so much of the stunning fall foliage! Highly recommended!
