Dette er en av de bedre leilighetene som vi har leid når vi har vært på reise. Leiligheten som vi leide hette "Gertrud", og ligger i Gaschwitz, sør om Leipzig. Leiligheten består av en stor entré, fint stort kjøkken, ei stue med TV, et stort soverom, bad med dusj, og et lite toalett. Leiligheten ser ut til å være i et eldre leilighetshus fra 20 - 30 tallet, men er godt vedlikeholdt. Det er kort vei til Leipzig hbf. i sentrum, eller til Leipzig Markt, noe som man absolutt bør oppleve. Mens vi var her, holder de på å oppruste S-Bahn, med blant annet støyskjerm, og ny stasjon, men vi var ikke mye plaget av støy fra arbeidet. Det er kort vei til S-bahn, cirka 300-350 meter. Gaschwitz er en liten by, det finnes et lite bakeriutsalg, ellers er det ingen problem å ta S-Bahn et par stasjoner nordover til Markleeberg, hvor det finnes flere kjøpesentre. The apartment we rented is named "Gertrud" and is situated in Gaschwitz, south of Leipzig. The apartment consists of a large entrance hall, a large kitchen, a living room with TV, a large bedroom, bathroom with shower, and a small toilet. The apartment seems to be in an older apartment house from the 30s but is well maintained. It is a short distance to Leipzig Hauptbahnhof, or to the Leipzig Market, which one should undoubtedly experience. While we were here, they were upgrading the S-Bahn, including noise barriers, and a new station, but we were not much bothered by the noise from work. It is a short distance to the S-Bahn, about 300-350 meters. Gaschwitz is a small town, there is a small bakery shop; otherwise, there is no problem taking the S-Bahn a few stations north to Markleeberg, where there are several shopping centers. If you are going to Leipzig or the surrounding area, this is a nice place to have a base.
