What a perfect cabin! This was our third time staying in a VRBO cabin in Idyllwild. Each time we have chosen a different cabin... we will only be booking this one moving forward! There are so many great touches that put this cabin far over the top from all others in its price range. The downstairs is a perfect game area with a great pool table that is far away enough from the upstairs bedrooms that the noise didn't disrupt our sleeping baby! The fenced-in yard was a great bonus for us to let our dog out, when it was 25 degrees outside. The décor was great and not cheaply made, like many other cabins. So many little touches; every room we walked in had us saying "Look at this", "Wait, Look at that!" The kitchen was a good size and was open to the living room and the deck. The chairs and couches were very stylish, clean and comfy. This is a perfect place for couples and those with little ones. There is no loft in this cabin. At first I thought I'd miss that since many cabins have lofts but instead I got the 100% authentic cabin feel and didn't have to worry about my kids and dog trying top jump through the banister of the loft--those things can be downright scary for parents. Oh, and it unexpectedly snowed our first morning and we were able to build a snowman and go sledding in a "secret" trail down the street!

Of course, the first snow of the season on Christmas for our first white Christmas was just icing on the cake. Billy was very helpful with great instructions and were able to turn on the heat for us prior to our arrival so it was very comfortable from the start. Billy was also very responsive to questions and comments as well which made the stay even more comfortable. We are looking forward to a return trip in the future.

We couldn't have been happier with our stay at the Tree House! In quiet Pine Cove and surrounded by trees, this peaceful spot was just what we were looking for. We loved the thoughtful modern design. The cabin is beautifully appointed, cozy and just the right size for our family of four. A perfect place for a relaxing getaway!

It was all we were looking for. The house was immaculate and provided everything you needed. The decor was tasteful and in accord with the location. J&B were on top of things. They followed up with me prior my trip to inform me about weather conditions and even allowed me to check-in earlier since the house was ready before the check-in time. We felt in love with this place and we will definitely rent it again. Thank you J&B.

Only ding against the place is the disconnect between what the host expects as far as cleaning (a significant amount) and the rather high cleaning fee. Otherwise had a wonderful stay!!!

My wife said it best: “They decorated and furnished the cabin with the things that they would want as the homeowners, rather than budget items just for renters.” Private, quiet, clean, and comfortable. We would rent again for sure.

Impeccable! This cabin is perfection! Everything was on point from the amenities to the adorable design. Fantastic communication from the hospitable owners along with step by step instructions so there is no guessing which leads to a stress free stay. Super comfy beds, amazing views, a little dog run area, huge hot tub and the most perfect deck to watch the squirrels and birds play. The cabin is easy to get to and is in a a nice, quiet neighborhood. We took lots of walks around the area and met some of the nice people who live in the area. Billy and Jeff left recommendations on where to eat in Idyllwild which made it easy for us to choose amongst the many offerings. It’s obvious Billy and Jeff care about their guests and want to make sure we were taken care of, which we were! To the hot cocoa waiting for us on our arrival to the music playing to the lights on, we felt like we were staying at a 5-Star resort. We cannot wait to go back! THANK YOU BILLY AND JEFF!

Best weekend hands down!! Cabin was amazing and billy was soo thoughtful! Made sure the house was warm when we arrived and every thing we needed was there! It felt sooo cozy and homey! Also the beds were AMAZING!! We would recommend a stay here to everyone we know and we can’t wait to go back!!!thanks again fand r providing such an amazing place to stay!!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at J & Bs treehouse! This secluded getaway is truly nestled among the trees and has everything you need for a relaxing, private vacation. Billy & Jeff’s attention to detail made our experience feel like we were staying at the cozy cabin of a family member not a rental. A handwritten note to welcome us, tips on how to build a fire, decorative pillows & a throw blanket draped across the couch, bandaids in the medicine cabinet, adorable red accents, and rustic hardware are just a few of the small details that create warmth and charm. It’s not just the little things but big ones too that make the “Treehouse” the perfect place for our stay in Idyllwild. The big beds with cozy bedding, a generous hot tub, good pressure & shower head height, windows to bring the great outdoors in, a huge fireplace, safe decks and outdoor stairs, multiple places to sit and relax, a pool table, a couch bed on its own floor with half bathroom, and the fact that its dog friendly made our stay truly comfortable.
