What a wonderful spot to relax with family and friends. The bedrooms are a bit cozy but the beds are comfy. The living room is wonderful. Lots of space and good seating to enjoy time with friends or just gaze out at the bay. The fireplace created a warm spot to relax on a blustery winter evening.

This is a sweet two bedroom home adjacent to park and trail. We enjoyed beautiful fall foliage and walked each day along the trail. Great multiuse trail! Our host was great! We recommend you consider this property for your visit to Petosky and the area.

Very nice stay. The house was perfect, overlooking a park with walking trails and quiet neighborhood. I would stay here again.

Place is reasonably nice inside. Not much in the kitchen as it relates to cooking and eating, so it's very minimal. We considered brining our dog, but when the owner asked us for a photo (which we thought was quite odd), we passed. For reference, he's in training to be a therapy dog through Pet Partners, so he's not some yahoo. She went so far as to even stop by halfway through our stay to clearly see if we brough our dog, but actually blamed it on red squirrels trying to get into the attic (weird...). Moreover, she said she texted us, but it was a landline, of which, it was my phone and we had been communicating the entire time. The adult bed was horribly squeaky and I couldn't sleep in the same room with my wife since I'm such a light sleeper. Some blinds were broken in the kitchen, which made the place look run down. Again, the location is great, but I won't stay here next time, not so much because of the place, but the owner was odd.

No one can care more about the comfort and well-being of her guests than Connie. This rental has become a second home for us, if only for two weeks a year. We were fortunate to secure a reservation for next year and will be back for Fall 2024. Steve and Marva Tripp, Shenandoah Texas.

My wife and I stayed with our two boys (7 and 11). The house was clean and had plenty of space for our stuff. There was a shed in the back where we were able to stow our 4 bikes. The kitchen had pretty much everything needed to make dinner, which we did on half of the nights. The house is close to the lake, but you can't really swim right there. The coast is too rocky to get in. There is sand on the beaches just a little to the west, but it was just dropped on top some of the rocks about 15' from the water's edge. It didn't extend into the water. If you want a beach, you can go to Petoskey State Park. There is sand there and it is a little easier to get in and out. They have a day pass for $11 or an annual pass for $39. We walked to town several times. You could get there within 15 minutes via a tunnel under the main road. It brings you into town right next to a pretzel place, which you should visit. The bike path next to the house was very useful. We took it pretty far East, but it gets crowded around the marina and town. We wanted to go West too, but the path was closed about 2 miles from the house, which forces you up onto the main road. Because of this, we were not able to go that way. It would have been really nice because the ride towards Charlevoix would have been less crowded and had great views all along the way. We would stay here again. This is a great place to base your Northern Michigan explorations. You can get to all the attractions quickly!

Perfect place for a northern Michigan getaway! Located within a short walking distance to downtown, this place looks out over Little Traverse Bay and the Wheelway bike path. It is cozy and immaculately clean. The owner was very responsive to our needs and worked to make sure we were happy with the accommodations. The gardens around the house are beautiful and help to make this a fantastic place to experience Petoskey.

Great property for a single person or small family. Little Traverse Wheelway & Bayfront Park right outside the door. Leave your vehicle in the driveway and walk to everything Petoskey has to offer. Connie is a great host.

We absolutely loved our stay! We visited Petoskey to ski, and the location was perfect to go to any resort, and the bay was beautiful and easily accessible. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. The setup is cozy, especially with the fireplace for a winter stay. Thank you for a helping make our family vacation memorable!

We enjoyed our stay in Petoskey The house was clean, big enough, and close to the water and town. We liked being able to walk to restaurants and shopping. It was nice to have a view of the water too.

We were very pleased with our vacation home. I was so much nicer than staying in a hotel. The listing doesn't tell you about how wonderful the location is. The city was working on an area directly next to the house, which is only going to add to the surrounding area. Perfectly restful spot and an amazing view of the lake.

Location was quiet. The proximity to town, the bike path and a lovely municipal park right outside the door were pleasant conveniences. Home was spotless and Connie was delightful to work with. COuldn't have asked for a better week.

Fabulous location on the bike trail, views of Little Traverse Bay, access to the Park, beach, downtown. Spacious kitchen, living room. Connie extremely helpful and responsive. Very detailed instruction and onfo related to house, tv, neighborhood, dining, recreation nearby. All in all one of our best vrbo stays ever.

Don't look anywhere else! Our stay was amazing! This house was extremely clean. Perfect location lake is a very short walk, just out the door practically. Gaslight district is so close, you can walk to go shopping or out to eat. Bike path is next to house. This was such a wonderful spot. Connie is extremely sweet, kind and friendly. If you need anything or had questions. Connie was easy to get in touch with. My daughter was looking for a Petoskey stone. Connie sent a message after we left, she had ask if she had found a stone? She was going to send one. My daughter had been going through a tough time.. She went above and beyond, her kindness meant alot to us. Listening to the lake was the perfect way to relax!

What a great find in petoskey! So many water views and walking/bike paths to get downtown for shopping and restaurants, hiking along the bear river or beach combing for petoskey stones, this place has it all! Will definitely book again, would be lovely in the fall.
