The Ambassador Inn is located mid Cape and close to many towns. It's location makes day trips easy, and having two pools to relax beside helps you enjoy it that much more.

No elevator to 2nd Floor.
Exterior stairs nearest to our room were steep and the treads much to small. They do not meet code.
You may consider putting your senior guests on the first floor.
The continental breakfast was terrible. Tossed it and went elsewhere.

We did very much enjoy this location and stay. But, there were a few things that could be improved. Please let the owner know that, for us older folks, having the toilet paper roll situated across on the opposite wall is not always appropriate. And, I do wish there was a way of reserving a first floor room ahead of time. We had to climb a full set of stairs with our 3 full suitcases. No elevator. We asked to swap for a first floor, but the rooms were all booked. The photos of the inside pool were a little deceptive. We thought it was longer. No one resupplied food to the morning breakfast. Some days there were sausages, other days there were not?
The renovations made this place feel brand new. It was great, especially the fabulous mattresses. We would come again as long as we can get a first floor room.

We really loved staying at this inn. It was super clean and recently updated. The beds were so comfy, we slept well. Front desk staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Good location with lots of options nearby. We will plan to stay here again in the future.

Breakfast was great with waffles or French toast and many other choices. Desk clerk gave easy directions to beaches. Places to eat close by and fun activities.

Very convenient location for our weekend away. Property manager was kind enough to give us a first floor room to accommodate my limited mobility. Comfortable bed. The room was very clean but the jacuzzi needed some repairs and cleaning.

I guess we stayed at a bad time. The hallways outside our door were being worked on, the phone to the desk didn’t work, the cable for the tv was messed up both nights so we couldn’t watch tv. Our room was fine. Beds very comfy, the shower was great & the bathroom & bedroom were clean.

The property was very clean and updated, beautiful outside front door seating. Easy parking. Loved the rooms and the breakfast they display every morning. Would like it if there was stand up tall mirrors in the rooms but other than that everything was provided. Great staff very friendly. Close to beaches, Will definitely stay at this location again!

The property was in a central location near area attractions. It was clean, but dated. There was some damage to base boards in the bathroom and the air conditioner unit was very noisy. The staff was helpful and there was a continental breakfast. We would have liked to have been closer to the beach and nicer restaurants.

An older property that has undergone recent and good renovation (some more work is needed.)
Not much they can do with the footprint (very small closet, small bathroom room) but have added nice modern touches where possible (non slip shower floor, above counter sink, room lighting). The best part was the very helpful front desk staff, along with the indoor heated pool. Clean, quiet (no pumped in music); the worst was the breakfast- bitter coffee, powered eggs, sugar laden yoghurt and breads. Quite possibly the worst hotel breakfast we've ever experienced.

VRBO did not give an accurate name of the place so it was difficult to find as the gps sent us to 2 other locations first. The hotel is nicer than most and has updated units. The doors need to be changed, but the unit was clean and nice. It has an indoor pool, hot tub and sauna. Parking was easy but we were on the 2nd floor and there is no elevator. I'd stay again.

The Ambassador hotel in South Yarmouth is a very nice hotel. The rooms are modernized and gets bonus points for having a medium sized fridge in the room. The staff at the front desk was very informative and friendly. Would recommend this hotel to anyone. Nice job Ambassador hotel.

Overall our experience was great. The room was clean and so close to everything locally. I think we enjoyed the free breakfast the least, but that is just an add-on. We care more about the room, the front desk and the location. We really did enjoy our stay and look forward to going back.

This hotel is very convenient to all the Cape has to offer.
Nice amenities such as pools and a tasty breakfast including waffles, yogurt, bagels, etc, and the room furnishings are new!
We will definitely return here often!

The room was clean and stocked with fresh clean towels. The bed was neatly made and clean crisp white sheets. Also bed was comfortable with plenty of pillows. Would stay there again close to everything.

I am thrilled at the price we paid for two nights compared to other listings! And on top of that breakfast is included and the heated indoor pool was a plus. It was also clean and up to standards and is in a very great location with a lot of things near by. We definitely recommend

The room was very clean and updated. It’s was a little Noisy with people in the rooms next to us. Area was close to nice places to shops. We did not use the pools. The outdoor pool was small and crowded and the indoor pool is very outdated. The free breakfast there was all carb loaded items Having the coffee was good.

Girls Trip
Overall we had a great experience. The amenities and facilities were well maintained. The rooms were beautiful and the staff was very pleasant.
The pools and hot tub is a bit dated and the stonework was broken which caused the hot tub water to be cloudy.

We had a nice stay. The beds were nice so we slept well. The staff was the best. Breakfast was good but they need to clean a little more. Coffee not so good especially in rooms. The price should have been discounted considering all the construction going on but not terrible. Overall not quite 4 stars.

I was called the day before my checkin and was re routed to a different resort mariner resort. The room was not to satisfaction. There wee burn holes on the sheets. The electrical outlet was broken and had holes. The ceiling was chipped.
I immediately called and canceled and spoke with Dave and was forced to find alternative housing which set me back financially. I am looking forward to a full refund.
