The house is so adorable, well taken care of, clean and cozy. I would definitely stay again if I was in the area. We stayed due to my grandson's wrestling sectionals being in Quincy. The only negative is that it is very close to two other houses- I thought it was more remote than it is- but it didn't bother us.

I have family in Quincy Illinois and we normally stay at a hotel, however I have found the hotels are often hit or miss in cleanliness or safety. (Some local hotels are seedy and allow indoor smoking) We decided to rent this charming a frame and it did not disappoint! It was spotless, orderly, very well stocked with needed items-towels, sheets, paper towels, toilet paper, basic condiments, soap, etc. It was in a very quiet setting with a lovely pond out back. Nice front and back porch for relaxing-nice bedding, very nice furniture, lighting-its a great place for people to visit you also. Washer and dryer in the unit is amazing! This unit would be great for someone that needs assistance from a wheelchair or walker as all the doors and areas are easily accessible for impaired visitors-including a ramp out front. The host Mike is very nice, helpful, and accommodating. This cute place was minutes off of Broadway, so its easy to get to great dining or shopping options. This was an excellent value and was by far the best place we have ever stayed in Quincy-easily one of the top 3 places we have stayed overall. I highly recommend it of you are looking for a quiet place that is well appointed and convenient. I will never stay anywhere else in Quincy if I have a choice.

We love going to Quincy IL and we needed a little break, so when I saw this cute place on-line, it was PERFECT! It was a "gift" to my husband for Christmas, just to get away for a night. I had been wanting to stay in a "cabin" sort of place & this was pretty much what I was looking for. I so wish the weather would have been a bit nicer so that we could have sat on the front or back porch areas & admired the outdoors, but it was below freezing temps w/ blowing snow that weekend. To have a nice, warm place to bundle up in was just what we needed. The place is nicely decorated, very clean & cozy! The bed was comfortable & the couches were as well. We didn't need to cook or utilize the washer & dryer, but it is nice to know that we could have if we had needed to do so. It was very close to all the places that we like to go to when we visit Quincy. I highly recommend this cozy A-frame! Go check it out.

We were really pleased with the little A-Frame. The living room was warm and inviting and so comfortable. Anything that we could have wanted was provided. We hope to make this trip again next year and will definitely stay here again!

The property was beautiful. The cottage was clean and cozy. The manager was friendly. I did think it would be a bit more private. Even tho it said country setting, and it is, it is located in with a row of houses. However i would highly recommend if you aren't looking for total privacy.

Beautiful A frame cottage, super clean and fully stocked. Very nice. On the edge of Quincy, we were 4 minutes from a selection of good restaurants. Large desk out back with some space in the shade and a view of the pond after a day of driving. Mike was a gracious host and a property owner who cares about his guests and their home away from home experience.

This property was exactly what was displayed in the pictures and summary. Great attention to detail in the decor. Home was equipped with everything we needed. Spacious kitchen. Tv equipped with Netflix and other apps for relaxing. Comfy beds. Loved sitting on the porch watching the horses, Turkey, and lightning bugs at night. We loved it and will be back!

This A-frame home was decorated very nicely, and felt like we were in a cabin! The only downfall of this cute cabin like home were the beds. Both bedrooms had queen size beds, but the upstairs loft bedroom mattress was so hard my family wondered if they were sleeping on the boxsprings. The downstairs bedroom mattress sagged in the middle, and we both had back aches every morning when waking up. We did meet the owners as they live next door, and they were very nice. Overall, other than the beds, we had a quiet stay here and did get to enjoy turkeys across the street with their chicks.

We were heading to Quincy for a family reunion. This cabin was fabulous in the middle of farmland. The cabin was decorated wonderfully! And we had everything we needed for a great stay. Michael was a great host! I hated to leave.

This was a perfect weekend getaway. The house was charming and decorated very cute as a hunter's den. VERY clean and just peaceful. We loved sitting on the back porch that over looks a gorgeous pond.

This property is a hidden gem in the Quincy area. The cozy cabin feel while being so close to everything was a huge plus. Everything was clean and comfortable. When we had to change our original date, Mike was very accommodating. I would stay again!! We even saw a bald eagle in a corn field on our way to watch our son bowl.

This house was adorable and had everything we needed. We loved the decor and the coziness of the log cabin look. We played many board games at the kitchen table. The upstairs, although a loft, was private and very roomy. One downside was the stairs to the loft. Although the description is "steep stairs", the stairs were much more steep than anticipated. Also, the tap water was not clear. After letting the water run for a few minutes, it did become more clear, but some were wary of drinking directly from the tap. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would stay again (especially if we had younger people in our group to tackle the steep stairs).

We enjoyed our stay despite inclement weather. The cabin is very comfortable and well-stocked. We had problems with the TV but that may be due to technological ineptitude. The bed was by far the most comfortable of all the rentals we have purchased.

I was greeted by Michael when I arrived. Very friendly and accommodating. The house was spotless and stocked well. Has games, areas to sit inside and out. Perfect quiet get away to catch up with my sister. Will come back again!!

This place is an absolute 100% terrific!!! The rustic decor, the spaciousness, furniture, sleeping availability, pond, back deck and BBQ, and price are all on point! We would stay again in a heartbeat! Communication with owner was fantastic. Highly recommend this property.
