This place is a little slice of heaven. They are very dog friendly and everyone staying there had a furry friend in tow. We loved everything from the cute and cozy room to the basement where there was a TV and board games. My husband was still able to watch his sports games while my daughter and I played games. Gary, the front desk clerk is a gem in himself! We loved talking with him and he gave us THE BEST advice where to go. We were only in Union Pier for 3 days but it was a memorable three days for sure!
We didn't know the restaurant and bar was closed to be rennovated but it didn't matter in the longrun. We enjoyed our visit regardless!

Such a cute place in a location hitherto unknown to me! A really cool, old building with comfy rooms, an onsite restaurant and totally pet friendly. Everyone was very understanding of our recently rescued dog who was getting used to the new environment. Great location for walking to the beach. Quaint but not dated! Highly recommend.
Curtains could be a bit more blackout for rooms facing the road.

We loved the rustic authenticity. The hand stenciled wallpaper! It’s old, not comparable to modern hotels, it’s like comparing apples and oranges. But location was key, staff lovely, beach so pretty….great spontaneous road trip stop. No frills.
We spent so little time there it’s hard to say

We liked the location which was relatively close to the beach approximately a 10min walk.
The building itself is quaint in a good neighborhood.
Understanding it is a Landmark Inn but our room only had a queen bed and one chair and a chest of drawers- which was extremely cramped. It was very basic and loud.
We could hear all the guests around our room as an extended family staying in rooms adjacent to ours. The kids we’re running up and down the hall and the adults were constantly talking thru the rooms with open doors. Starting at 7am! We did appreciate the Quiet Time of 11pm.
The staff at the front desk could have been more informative and friendly. Although Nancy the Housekeeper was very nice!

The location was convenient, not far from a beautiful stretch of beach you can walk to. Parking is convenient, right out front.
There were so many bugs in our room that were flying around at night and landed on our bed. The pillow was smelly.

Quiet, quaint, clean and relaxing. Comfortable bed and loved the history of the home and thankful that owners are continuing to preserve this home for a visit back in time. We enjoyed sitting by a fire in the lobby and visiting with other guests that had been frequent guests and shared of experiences at the inn on New Years Eve with bands etc. We’d be interested in attending a NYE weekend with dinner drinks and band!
We found that in person, the inn surpassed the expectations from Booking photos. Staff friendly and accommodating also!
Liked everything except wished we’d been able to stay longer.

The food at the restaurant was amazing. The bathtub was very big and the mattress was very comfortable.
We could hear the lobby and the basement noises from our room on the first floor.

A wonderful little Inn right next to the beach, in a very quiet area. Marvelous surroundings, the autumn landscapes were astonishing, the hotel decoration was great, and the staff was very kind and helpful!
Definitely recommend this little inn to anyone visiting the area.

quaint & rustic, near the beach, welcoming, friendly staff, good breakfast, convenient Harbor Country location
rooms were pretty small for two people but then we knew that going in; fireplace wasn’t operating even though the days and evenings were quite cool (we visited during the last week in September); having the fireplace going would have made a huge difference in ambiance; stayed in two different rooms during the week - one had been remodeled, the other had not; ask for a renovated room, if available.

It has lots of charm and charecter, very peaceful and relaxing.
Nothing we didn't like, the shower didn't work the night we got there but this was sorted first thing in the morning while we had breakfast.

Location and private beach.
Thin walls so most of the floor can hear everything you do.

Such a quaint little place. It is an older building but that is what makes it special. Wood floors everywhere even in individual rooms. Short walk to the breach through a little neighborhood. The staff were great/friendly. The rooms were clean. It is an older building so yes it isn’t stunning with modern things but it has such great character, the vibe was just chill/friendly/inviting.
It was a little different having the option of walking through a restaurant when it was open. The downstairs where ice machines and tv is, does need a little help cosmetically. it was a little dark down there but nice you had a ton of game options.
