the best winter vacation ever!!!!

It was excellent vacation for 3 adults and 6 children who love outdoor. Chalet is very spacious, so everybody has their space. We were hiking, tobogganing, playing pool and piano. Kitchen is equipped with everything you can think of. No people, only deers and turkeys.

Perfect perfect perfect!

Suuuuuuuuper nice cottage! Had everything we need. Really enjoy the lake. Very nice host. Definitely will recommend to friends.

Peaceful and relaxing week at a near-private lake

We loved this property to celebrate our wedding with our friends. We had about 12-14 people over and we all were able to stay comfortably. The cottage is on a lake that is shared with only one other cottage that is not visible from the dock. It is a huge cottage that would be appropriate for winter stays or summer vacations. The place was nice and clean when we came in and it was clear that the host paid attention to small details. He left us many lifejackets, fishing equipment, and access to different kinds of boats (pedalboat, canoe, kayak, aluminum rowboat). There were three queen beds and three single person cots, as well as two pull out couches (one on the main floor that would not be ideal due to noise, and one in the basement). The pool table in the basement was also a nice amenity, as was the espresso machine. There are many chairs around the fire pit, which was used every night. We will definitely be booking this cottage again. The host was friendly and available, and allowed us to have a small, trained dog come with us. The cottage is dog-friendly (screen doors with plastic covers on the bottom to prevent dogs running out, and there is a small doggie door on the deck preventing smaller dogs from running into the forest). What an amazing, relaxing stay. Thank you, Dai!

Not much to complain about... the only thing that was a bit of an issue was that the stairs were quite loud so it was difficult to get up in the middle of the night without waking up the house. This would be the case for any older cottage.

The best experience, I ever had.

It was a grateful experience, I had the right directions to find the keys of the cottage, and the general view from the exterior was as described in the site. I had no problems to unlock the main door and this was the beginning of a good experience. In addition, of the directions to arrive to the place, I liked very much the peaceful ambiance, the forest and the lake. I was surprised to discovered how well equipped the cottage was. Barbeque, kitchen, bedrooms, toilets living and family room. Everything was there to make a good stay with refinement. I was delighted to find many decors around the house. Thank you very much to my Host; she was always very kind.

It is hard to find something negative.
