About this resort
Nestled in Hungry Horse, this charming resort for $207 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. Clean and comfortable! Located just 11 miles to the entrance of West Glacier National Park, 16 miles to Whitefish Mountain and 23 miles to Kalispell. Unit #9 is a studio style fourplex cabin, it has 2 king size beds, a full kitchen, and full bath. It is part of a 4 unit side by side set of cabins located at Beargrass Lodging & RV Resort. We provide pantry essentials of salt/pepper, cooking spray, foil, plastic wrap and coffee filters. Enjoy 2 complimentary packets of coffee and small assortment of teas in your cabin. Complimentary coffee/tea provided daily in office/gift store. Enjoy our outdoor heated swimming pool (July 1 - Sept. 15), cozy up each evening at our communal fire pit, or BBQ your dinner at one of our 2 communal provided BBQs! We have a gift shop with Made in Montana gifts, souvenirs and snacks. There is also onsite coin operated laundry if needed. We DO NOT provide daily maid service. We DO promise to launder all linen, including your duvet cover and blankets between EACH and EVERY guest. We are happy to replace towels and linen upon request for longer stays of 4+ nights. We loved staying in this little cabin!! It was roomy enough for 2 of us. Location was perfect - close enough the glacier park and close enough to whitefish area which we enjoyed some of their restaurants. Check in process was smooth and the family that owns the cabin/RV resort is the sweetest. Definitely would recommend staying here to anyone.

Enjoyed our stay on the west side of Glacier. Kids loved the playground, disc golf, and pool. Clean, convenient, and would come back again!

Great location to access the west side of Glacier. Convenient to grocery shopping and restaurants. Property owners were super helpful and the property was clean and had all the amenities one could ask for.

Host was friendly and welcoming. Accommodations were excellent and as advertised. The on-site store had bear spray for rent. Perfect for the city-dweller headed to Glacier who doesn’t need to own an expensive can of bear spray.

We stayed at the property 6 nights and was under the impression that this was a traditional VRBO listing. VRBO has allowed a motel and RV park to be listed on VRBO. As a traditional motel it was nice and met our needs, especially with a kitchenette and table and chairs. We paid VRBO market prices for the same unit as those who rented directly from the motel/RV manager.
This unit was no different that any other attached rooms in the complex. The stay overall was good, given we didn't spend that much time there. The unit we rented was #9, which really didn't have its own parking spot. We were fortunate that no one was using the area next to the cabin that we learned was for RV overflow. The last night the owner, who was nice enough, asked us to move our car to the main lot. Fortunately a couple people had left so we could get a close parking spot. The next morning a massive RV (35+ft) pulled into the area next to our cabin. It was literally 3 feet away from our front door. Certainly we didn't expect that to happen. If this had been earlier in our vacation it would have been an issue for us. I believe its misrepresented as a VRBO property.
When we arrived we found the room without proper supplies, ie toilet paper, paper towels, also low on stock on other supplies. When we notified the owner they were responsive and apologized. The carpeting in the unit was pretty dirty as well.
I would recommend this property be listed as a motel with a kitchenette & table/chairs.

Really nice place!
Awesome place to stay! Very clean, nice amenities, close to Glacier National Park and surrounding activities. Loved the full kitchen and gas grills so we could have dinner and relax right there.

The new owners were extremely helpful prior to our arrival with answering several questions and understanding our late check in.
The lodge was only a 10 minute drive to the entrance to Glacier and was within minutes to grocery and restaurants.

I hope I have wifi available at this location. I and many other on this location struggle a lot with no wifi unless you are in owners office. Very difficult to manage your day in this era without WiFi. Owner is a very nice person and f facility is very clean.

I really loved getting to stay here. It was hard to find lodging that allows dogs near to Glacier National Park and the owners are so kind. This is a family run business and I’m so glad we stayed here. He told us they acquired the property in April and they’ve done so much to improve it. Our little apartment area was really clean and I loved how soft the bedding was and how quaint it is. I’m glad we stayed here. The custom made bed frames and tables were such a nice touch. One of my favorite things is they have a small kitchenette and bathroom sink outside the bathroom so everyone else can still get ready while someone is in the bathroom. I also didn’t know they had a pool on site but that’s nice too! If you have little ones there is a play area for them. The shop where you check in has a bunch of cute things to buy as well. I love that they have peonies spotted around the site! Would definitely stay here again next time we come to Glacier!!!
