Cute little room with all the necessities. We had traveled from out of town for an early morning hospital appointment. Also appreciated the free coffee in the lobby.

My shower was either cold or blisteringly hot. The water pressure was not great. Mattress was okay. Staff interaction was pleasant. People kept slamming the door to go to the outside all hours of the day and night.

We were a little worried about safety. House was divided into apartments only separated by a door chain. Very thin walls. Had to pay for WiFI. Pretty clean. Everything was extremely old. Convenient to Hershey Park

I have already contacted hotels.com regarding the stay at Simmons. My grandson and I were given room 4. It was in such deplorable condition that I immediately asked the front desk for a different room. I was told that the only available rooms had kitchettes, and I would have to pay an extra 59 dollars for the night. It was late so we stayed. There was loud noise as if someone was moving furniture or scraping against walls, the sink had open holes under it (see pictures) the rug had black stains all over it. My grandson and I just waited for morning to leave. My daughter, Casey Mcguirt called hotels.com and they called and the person hung up. I went downstairs and was told the manager doesn’t come in until 9. I very nice woman in the front area told me that room 4 was not renovated and it is a very old room. I could not stay and wait for manager. We left. The manager called me later and said the room had been renovated and the rug is going to be replaced. He was rude and, honestly, he didn’t make much sense. You will see from the pictures.

I just needed a place to lay my head for the night. Simmons definitely fit the bill. No frills. Basic, clean and friendly. I should have asked for a room with a desk tho. My bad. Outside noise continued into. the night. But nothing I couldn't handle. Next time will ask for room in the back.

The motel was clean. Front desk staff was polite. It was a great location to be able to walk to dinner and cute shops. We stayed for one night only. The rooms were very retro-dated. Felt like I was in 'The 70's Show'. Staff could do better with the half-inch pillows but it was clean and that is all that I could ask for.

Cannot say enough good things about this hidden gem! Could not ask for a better location. The staff is so friendly, rooms are clean, has a quaint eclectic feel. It is an older property, so don't expect anything super modern or fancy, but it is our favorite place to stay when visiting Hershey! Highly recommend!

I reserved a room to stay one night. I was surprised at the low rate and expected a motel and room that reflected the rate. However, the place was really nice on the outside. I went to the office to check in. After a great check in experience, the you lady working walked me to my room. The room was clean, spacious, really nice. When my wife de died she wanted an outward facing room, the clerk was more than helpful. The “upgrade” cost me $15 and we got another awesome room that we could park our car right outside of. In my opinion, 10 stars out of 5.

Place was gross. Owners barged into room without introducing themselves or telling us what was up and started investigating things underneath our beds, which had us very concerned. Bathroom was dirty, there’s an aged structure that looks like it hadn’t been cleaned in ages. There was a jar of liquid in the kitchen full of what looked liked fermented veggies. There was a beeping sound going on all night. Walls are very thin so you can hear your neighbors and they can hear you. Overall, you get what you pay for and I’m thankful we had a place to sleep. But I’m not sure I’d stay again. At least there were no bed bugs.

We stayed in a quirky suite. It was so much more comfortable and homey than a standard motel room. The seating was comfy as were the beds. We hadn't known there was a pool, so that was a nice surprise.

Yikes. I do not know where to begin. The surrounding area is really nice despite the scene I arrived at when I checked in. There were people all over the property lingering, smoking and taking you in- if the hotel had been in a sketchier area, I would not have gotten out of my car. The lady who checked us in and was super helpful- she walked me to the room, and adjust the AC for me. The room itself was straight out of the 1950's, and I think everything, including the worn out, lopsided mattress with no support, had been there since then. The ceiling tiles showed water stains, the carpet was also decades old, but to me, aside from all of the above, was the fact that the bathroom window opened in to the back stairwell and had flimsy, thin blinds. I am sure anyone who tried could see into the bathroom. The bathroom towels were thin and small, and looked like the hospital towels you get when you stay inpatient, including the blue stripe. Further- both the front and back windows needed blackout curtains (or in the case of the bathroom, a curtain at all), because there was so much light pouring into the room, when I woke at 3am, I thought it was time to get up. There is a supply and demand situation in Hershey, so I get it, but with some minor changes over time, this hotel could be super cute. Someone needs to spend the night in each room and they would get the full understanding of my comments and a few simple things that could be done to improve the stay.

Super cute place!!! The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was perfect for the night before heading to the Hershey spa. Several restaurants within walking distance and within minutes from Hershey park and world. Will def stay here again!

Absolutely wonderful place to stay! Staff was super helpful and accommodating! Upon checkin we were personally excepted to our place by the attendant. She was super sweet & kind. Beautifully kept grounds and enjoyed a peaceful night sitting on the porch. Can not wait to go back. We will stay there every year!
