Die neue, 8-jährige Bearfoot Creek Majestic Cabin liegt an 2 Bächen. Sie können unsere lustigen 2 Creeks hören, die innerhalb und außerhalb dieses neu gebauten A-Rahmens mit einem großartigen Dachbodenblockhaus auf Moody Farm Rd laufen. Es hat sehr einfaches Jahr-um einen einfachen Zugang und ist nur 3-4 Blocks von der neu Maggie Valley Country Club umgebaut und nur 3 Minuten vom Cataloochee Ski Resort. Unser Haus ist in der Stadt gelegen, nur wenige Gehminuten von Restaurants und Geschäften (1/4 Meile entfernt!). Dieses schöne, neu, Hand behauenen, Schwalbenschwanz-Blockhaus hat viele warme und heimelige Hochland eingerichtet und die Annehmlichkeiten von zu Hause aus. We enjoyed our stay. Very relaxing on the porch with morning coffee or evening cocktails. There weren't 3 TVs like the description said, some lamps were broken ice maker didn't work to well and the Internet seemed slow when streaming with our Firestick. Very convenient to lots of things nearby, they close early. Overall, everything was good.

It's a nice cabin. The streams are great and good for fishing. The cabin could use a few upgrades. It's time to replace the black moldy shower curtain. (Not health) Not having basic local TV service with access to log into streaming services with own account should have been included in price of rental. Photos on VRBO need to be current. We brought K-pods expecting a K-pod coffee pot based on VRBO but were surprised to find drip coffee pot. Thanks for leaving filters and some coffee so we didn't have to run to the store.
Garbage. Neighbors had garbage cans so there is local pickup. It was inconvenient to have to drive 6 miles out of the way to a trash dump (whose fence was described as green in the cabin notebook but was actually gray) every day.
The cabin sits on a very busy cut-through road. This should be described or noted on VRBO. Not safe if you have small children and noisy to sit outside in the evenings if you are looking to relax.

Everything about our stay was perfect! The cabin was amazing and we loved the area. We had no issues checking in, during our stay or with checking out. The few times I messaged the owner before the trip, he was quick to respond and so helpful. One creek was hard to see, but you could hear it and it was so peaceful. We loved sitting on the huge porch and listening to it. The second creek was across a non-busy, small road and you could see it and hear it. We would stay again and hope to make it back! The area: we shopped in Maggie Valley and Waynesville, went to the Biltmore, rode the Great Smokey Mt RR, did a UTV tour (Scenic Tours and Rentals-we recommend, guide/owner was part Cherokee and so knowledgeable of the area), hiked Soco Falls and Waterrock Knob and saw a show at the local theatre in Waynesville. So much to do in the area and the cabin was the PERFECT home base. Thank you for the memories!

First, the home itself was fine and probably good for a young family and a trout was caught in the stream across the road. And you could hear the stream from the home. Unfortunately, for us, the home was not handicap friendly. When we booked the listing showed showers only, which we needed for our elderly parents. But, they are shower/tub combo. When I tried to use the numbers available to report this, no one was available. I finally reached the owner he didnt realize shower only was posted. It has since been corrected.My parent's were not able to shower for a week. The fireplace would not light, we tried after talking to the owner but that didnt work. Most of the lamps in the home were not working or broke. We also had to purchase a firestick for the smart tvs. The owner did say he put that in the instructions but i didnt catch it. Never heard of bringing your own streaming device for a smart tv. The on property fishing stream is across the street from the home. You are very close to Maggie Valley main road...with that comes the road noise. Just not what was expected. The owner was very nice and helped as much as he could being out of state.

My family and myself had a lovely time at this cabin! It is the perfect location, convenient to town and all the different activities the mountains have to offer. A nice little branch runs right by the property and easily lulled us to sleep. Jonathan’s creek lies across a low traffic road in front of the property. It’s so nice to sit on the front porch swing and watch the water run by! The cabin is super cozy and just the right amount of space! Would love to return again!

The house is in a perfect location. Close to shops and restaurants. Next to the house is a creek so you can hear the water rushing. The house has plenty of parking available. Easy access from the steps or the ramp if needed. Beautiful cabin, well kept.

It is a nice place, a lot of wood. It would have been nice if you could get to see the little branch on property but it was a little overgrown. Trying to stream TV from phone was a bit challenging due to the buffering all the time. Really wished they had som type of cable/satellite. It was okay we played cards and worked puzzles we had bought.
Loved the ramp so Mom could access the house and was spacious enough for her and her rollator to maneuver through the lower level. It would have been nice to have a walk-in shower but we had to have one that she could actually get in the house with and this checked that box.

The place is super clean! It is close to two creeks. One right outside the master bedroom that you can hear at night and the other right across the street. The beds are comfortable and the wrap around porch is so beautiful. With rocking chairs and a porch swing it really allows you to soak in nature and decompress. Board games and books, everything is beautifully labeled ( I enjoy organization and cleanliness it takes the extra stress off) very easy to find. Close to local spots and provided a well put welcome catalog booklet with information pertaining the area.
This was my first time in Maggie valley, I must say this small town is definitely a place to find true relaxation away from the commercial buzzing and busy being able to support local businesses and enjoy the creeks and lakes and reset.

Nice cabin. sofa bed not comfortable according to one who used it. needs new mattress. called for info on TV, but did not reach anyone or they did not call back. really wanted watch Carolina/Duke game. never got them to work execpt for Netflix. 5 only stayed Sat.night. two Sunday and left at 9:00 on Monday morning.

Beautiful wraparound porch that was so accessible and perfect for our son who is a wheelchair rider! Loved Waynesville and Maggie Valley. The driveway is somewhat tricky if you are in an accessible van bu the good thing is that the accessible ramp is easy to access once you make the drive up the hill We would definitely stay here again.

Great location for visiting Smoky Mountain National Park, the botanical gardens, rafting, etc. Home was very comfortable and provided a wonderful base. We also enjoyed the nfl preseason games and Netflix as well on tv. The kitchen was very well equipped. Sitting on the porch, listening to the creek, was a joy and was my son’s favorite place. Overall, this house is an excellent choice.

We were able to travel easily to Cherokee and Bryson City. There is a beautiful creek right across the street which was so peaceful and a great play place for our dog. All amenities that we needed were available. We had a great week in a beautiful home.

Beautiful cabin
The cabin and it's surroundings were absolutely gorgeous . I booked this cabin because I thought it was handicap accessible . Yes , there was a ramp, however the ground area in front of the ramp wasn't level so my power chair got stuck every time and I had to be manually lifted . The shower did not have have grab bars nor a removable hand held shower head , so no shower for me for five days . The fireplace either ran out of gas or problems with the pilot light . We called and spoke to someone but it was never resolved so we enjoyed that for only one night . The master bedroom is about 20⁰ cooler so bring a heater during the winter . And could not get a signal on the MB TV. Other than that we enjoyed our getaway !!

Beautiful home very accommodating to a family of 6. Even though it rained and was foggy everyday we had a wonderful time skiing and snowboarding at Catalooche. Loved the relaxing sounds of the brooks and the amenities of the home.

Fabulous Cabin, great location for ski trip
This cabin is wonderful. The location was perfect, especially since it snowed 3 inches overnight. We were easily able to maneuver the driveway. The furnishings are comfy and the fireplace really warms you up. I loved the wrap around porch. I would like to come back at a warmer time of the year to experience summer or fall. We skied Cataloochee both days. Nice ski place and close by. Also enjoyed the town shops and restaurants (Snappy’s and Pops Butts by the Creek). Would love to explore again another time.

Had an issue initially booking directly with owner. But this was rectified! This is our 2nd year renting the cabin! We loved it! Cabin was clean, spacious! Porch is perfect! We loved walking to the stream across the street and taking walks to the park area around the corner! Weather was perfect!

Great location, close to amenities. Wish it was a little further off the road. Couple little things like the ceiling fan in the loft was loud and the DVD player didn't work but overall we really enjoyed our stay

Wonderful NC Vacation!
Everything was easy about making this reservation, and the cabin was fantastic! Very clean, and conveniently located to GSMNP, Pisgah National Forest, the adorable town of Waynesville, and other great places!
The cabin has 2 enclosed bedrooms and 1 loft bedroom (overlooking living room). The loft bedroom was fairly light at night from the street light (fyi).
The larger creek across the street from the cabin was fun to play in. You can’t really play in the smaller one on property, but it sure does sound lovely! And the porch and sitting areas were so nice to spend time with our family!
The only very minor issues were lack of toilet paper (maybe I missed that we should bring our own; we started with two not full rolls - one in each bathroom - but we had to shop for more within 2 days), and lack of extra hand soap or kitchen garbage bags. To be fair, there was 1 extra kitchen garbage bag but we needed more than that for our weeklong stay. Perhaps I missed that we should bring those with us. But really not a big deal! The only other item to mention is taking your own trash out- you have to drive 5-6 miles to dump the trash. Again not a big deal but it’s just nice knowing that in advance.
Overall, it was a wonderful stay and we’d highly recommend this cabin to others. Thank you!
