Good Comfortable Rooms and Friendly Check in Staff , Close to the town center for food etc.
Parking was taken by the Pub patrons as the football was on so we parked in the pay and display car park next door however you can only pay for 10hrs max

There was no breakfast but the Bay Tree cafe across the road was excellent. Bed very comfortable and shower room good.
Maybe some attention to areas ( around windows and shower area) that are starting to show a little mould.

Good location. Friendly and helpful staff in the pub at key handover. Comfortable bed. Tea and coffee making facility.
Room No. 1 was directly above the pub bar. Very noisy! Loud music, talking etc. Although it was a Saturday afternoon / night. Walls are "paper thin" so conversations can be overheard. Main light in the room kept "flickering" dim then bright and repeat ! Noisy fridge kept "regulating" switching off and on.

Nice clean room with large shower , small fridge , comfortable bed and great value
Our room , No.5 was over the pub and there was a constant humming 24/7 from below us . It did affect my sleep and a light sleeper may have some trouble getting too sleep. Might be fridges,air con or other pump machinery. We were made aware by management on booking that we could rebook one of the rooms on the quieter side rooms 6-10 but were too late and most were already taken. I didn’t score the room lower in any case but I had noticed that when the hotel won “ 4 in a bed “ , the occupant of our room N0.5 was supplied with a mask and earplugs which we weren’t . I would stay there again though but in another room if available.

It was very hot. Heating was up full blast in all corridors and our room. Had to sleep with window open even though we had turned our radiator off.

When checking in at the bar couldn't be heard so stood at end of bar where a polite young nice girl handed me a piece of paper to write all my card details and CVC on in front of all people in bar. REALLY. Then some scruffy dishevelled bloke with curly hair and a pint of lager told me to move 6 inch from end of bar. REALLY. Had to tell him to move so I could write details. Apparently he was staff!! Have had to renew my card as don't want this peice
of paper falling into wrong hands. Room was nice but the whole experience checking in would make me think again before booking

Convenient for town centre. Warm and cosy
Noise of fan for beer cellar in room 5 this is very noticeable. Shower head was black and really filthy.

The room smelled strongly of cigerettes and the bathroom was much worse. Also our rooms was above the pub so you cant stay in as the music played until after 12, despite saying it finishes at 11lpm.

Have stayed here many times but this time didn't seem as clean a false nail on the carpet small black hairs on the bed cover cobwebs on the ceiling and wall the main staircase looked like it wanted a good hoover

The room was comfortable and clean. Everything worked well.
The room (3) was directly over the pub. In particular, one night when there was live music directly below. It was impossible to to settle until.after the music had stopped and the pub had cleared. At the time I found the staff in the pub unhelpful, bordering on the discourteous - although the lady claimed it was "assertiveness", which says it all. To be fair, I received a written apology the following morning about the noise, and an assurance that things would be better for my second night, which it was. I tried not to let the horrible first night spoil my family weekend, ut I won't be returning.

Location was excellent for the Town Hall where we were attending a 3 day event. Room was really clean and good facilities. We were able to park at the accommodation really easily even though there were unable to guarantee parking, however there was a car park next door that was only £4 from 8am to 6pm and then free until 8am. Bar staff were really friendly and gave us some really fab locations for evening meal. Can highly recommend the Brew Shed which was a 2 minute walk away.
Tea and Coffee not being replenished each day. Only being advised on check-in that there was a live band playing in the pub, having said that whilst it was really loud to the point where the floor, beds and TV were vibrating it did finish by 11.20pm and was then really quiet.
Guests from the pub using the staff toilet which was in the area of the accommodation as there was toilet paper on the floor, however I do appreciate that this was unforeseen and was the best of a bad situation and out of the control of the pub and accommodation.

Quite a small room, but was Adequate for a one night stop exceptionally modern and clean even a small fridge and the usual coffee making tea making facilities

Looks so small but extends further back then expected! The staff were so helpful and friendly at the pub attached for the keys collection and giving recommendations, the rooms were so comfortable and clean! Everything you need when you are visiting the village for a night!

Perfect little room and great value for money. Had everything you needed. Nice and clean, and smelt fresh too. Staff at the pub where you check in were very friendly and helpful. Also the cleaners the next day as we checked out were very lovely and friendly. Would stay again. Great location next to the centre too.
