Where do I begin. I arrived in time for check in. The locks were completely rusted and did not work. I didn't enter the condo until 10pm because it took maintenance that long to add new locks. So I was stuck in my car for 5 hours. They knew I was coming. The locks had been a problem for a while. They should have fixed that before I came. I finally get inside and its obvious no one has cleaned the place in a while. Vacasa customer service told me no one had stayed in a month. Again, they knew I was coming why would the property not be clean or inspected before my stay. I sleep in a dirty condo for the first night. Very disgusting. To make matters worse, the screen door had a large hole. The maintenance guy took the screen and said he would order another one. Please note the unit is dated. He tells me the screen should be there in a couple of days. He never showed up with the new screen. I start calling, only to get the run around. I went the entire month killing bugs in the condo because he did not replace the screen. He said a part was on back order after stringing me a long for days. I was livid. I said to come and put the old screen back on. He never did. At some point during my stay the floor above me flooded. So the guest room had water linking from the ceiling. I had atleast 3 people interrupt my stay to check on it. Just horrible! I'd like to say that was it, but no. Maintenance shows up banging on the door. Completely unexpected. Apparently they administer a pesticide once a month. Nobody told me this. Two weeks in, I called to have the condo cleaned again. I was tood to call customer service. Unbelievable! You would think with all that had happened they would want to accommodate me. The whole stay was a complete nightmare. Vacasa gave back half my money, but how awful. I could have stayed somewhere else for a month. Stay at this property at your own risk. I'll never stay with Vacasa again. I hope the owner reads this post.
