Seaside Cottage was the perfect place to relax. The view cannot be beat and we had gorgeous weather every day. The cottage was so clean and well stocked with everything we needed. Great location to walk to coffee shops and restaurants as well as to the beaches. We will be back!

Ocean Odyssey was helpful and friendly in making this possible.When we arrived in Yachats on a cold night in January and the heat in the main room wasn't working, Peter was over in no time to find and fix the problem. The house was extremely clean, very cozy and well supplied and had a magnificent view of the crashing waves. And finally when extreme weather in the valley closed all the passes over the coastal range, Ocean Odyssey was able to extend our stay until safe to drive home. They made us feel like the quality of our stay was important to them. Very different from many other vacation rental agencies. Ocean Odyssey is my new "go to" place to find lodging on the Oregon Coast.

However we were very disappointed that some updates we have asked for before have not been addressed. The toilets in the bathrooms are made for 2-5 year olds. Seriously they are <1 foot off the floor. And there are no bars or anything to assist use of the toilets. They need to be replaced immediately and real toilets put in (low flow for saving water would be nice too). Also the chairs in the living room are made for children (they sink way down to the floor when you sit in them). This house is not set up for seniors or anyone 50+ (e.g., no bars in bathrooms for getting in and out of the bathtubs). It would be really nice if the owners addressed this and made the house usable for everyone.

The Seaside cottage is in an ideal location, right on the coast, where we could watch from the living room to see the mesmerizing, crashing waves onto the rocks. We've stayed in several rentals on the Oregon Coast, but never one like this. Incredible view, sleeping to the booming sound of the surf, everything we could possibly need and more, and even a welcoming gift! If you're looking for a 5-star resort, this isn't it. But if you want a house that feels like home, THIS IS IT. We will be back - this is now our go-to home-away-from-home. THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING!!!

Beautiful setting in a very comfortable home with an unobstructed view of the ocean. Stunning views and great big windows to allow you to see the ocean any time you are in the living room/kitchen area. Can't wait to return to this haven of a home.

Wonderful place - will definitely try to come back. Sitting on the deck watching the ocean, birds, and seals- mesmerizing. Great location. We had perfect weather. Only negatives - tv is no good unless you stream. Comfort height toilets would be nice - can you tell that we ate old!

The panoramic ocean views kept us mesmerized all week, and the coastal cottage charm was unsurpassed! We had a wonderful time, thanks for attending to so many details to make the stay extra comfortable. And thanks for the delicious marionberry jam! Still enjoying that :-)

My husband and I have been vacationing on the Oregon coast for 25 years and this cottage was perfect in every way and hands down the best vacation rental we have ever stayed in. The location was perfect and the cottage was a delight—clean, bright and comfortable with so many welcoming touches like snacks in the kitchen, baskets in the bathrooms filled with things you might have forgotten and great books in every room. The beds were heavenly! Katy from the rental agency was wonderful to work with and attentive to our needs! We can’t wait to come back!

And of course the view is spectacular! We hadn’t brought our own bath soap because most places provide it or have the European style dispensers in the showers. We purchased our own. This is a minor inconvenience, though. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay very much.

We have rented dozens of houses over the years and these owners by far were the best at providing small comforts and different treats for our stay and treating us like family, not just strangers. The location in Yachats is awesome. We stayed for a week and ventured out far on some days, but quickly realized you don't need to go far from the cottage to see the most stunning places along the Oregon Coast. We walked to coffee at The Village Bean and ate dinner in town every night. We ate like kings in Yachats and can't wait to go back. The home is full of many games, movies and books to read and we utilized it all during the rainy days. The fire pit and sunsets in the yard were my favorite. We feel like we found a real gem in this cottage and we can't wait to come back again soon.

This seaside cottage is truly seaside. Absolutely gorgeous view from the living room & kitchen, plus the porch and yard. (As noted in the description, the property itself does not have beach access--but it does have a beautiful view!) Easy checkin, clean property, and the hosts clearly put a lot of thought & effort into making it a comfortable, welcoming stay. One of the bedrooms had a pretty loud heater; we got used to it but if you're a particularly light sleeper it might be good to know ahead of time. All in all, it was charming, and we would definitely come back!
