The room was spacious, quiet and had an excellent view of the coast. We particularly enjoyed watching the sunset from the outdoor balcony area. The shower was large with great water pressure and steady temperature. The bed and bedding was comfortable. It was convenient to have the bar and restaurant on-site. The breakfast was freshly cooked and very good. The location was very near the beach and we really enjoyed walking from the hotel to the beach to explore the area. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Parking on the street near the hotel was plentiful and easy.

No separate entrance for guests except through busy restaurant which was a bit awkward coming sans and wet from the beach?!

Friendly reception, staff responded quickly to any request for service. Despite arrival at 1 o'clock in the morning we were provided with food which was much appreciated. The breakfasts were both substantial and tasty with a good choice from the kitchen. The location offered great views of the beach and cliffs, on the sands in a couple of minutes. Cannot speak highly enough of are experience, l do not normally respond to these surveys but in this case I did so because it was such a pleasant stay.

McMunns is not a hotel , its a bar restaurant with rooms to rent and its does not disapoint. This is a great place to stay. Rooms are fabulous, stylish , clean , comfy.
Breakfast is included in your stay and its delicious...but its the friendly vibe , great atmosphere that's makes this place special . The bar / restaurant gets packed very quick so make a booking because the food is amazing. I had the fish & steak and best I've had in ages.
McMunns is right beside the cliff walk & beach and Ballubunion golf course down the road. Its a great location . Una and her family are just lovely ....totally recommend you stay here in Ballybunion

Lovely place. Great location. Food both dinner and breakfast were beautiful. They even upgraded us room amd we had a balcony. Staff were absolutely lovely. Great place. Bed and pillows were unreal too. Will def be bk.

We arrived in Ballybunion in the early afternoon but the hotel didn't open until 6pm for check in.

Excellent food. Bedroom to a high standard.
Entrance lobby was a bit grubby which made me wonder if l had made a mistake with this hotel. Once inside everything was great so maybe a revamp of that space is needed.

Lovely rooms, two minutes walk to the beach...lovely breakfast served in the morning, they also have a restraunt but as it was a Saturday night, it was all booked up so we could not eat there, would advise booking in advance..but all in all , a very pleasant stay, would definatly recommend mcmunns..

Location was good from my perspective. We enjoyed a lovely
evening meal but the breakfast was not good in fact it was
the worst I have ever had in Ireland.
Breakfast needs to be more appealing in terms of
choice - there was no fresh fruit or yoghurt available
and the rashers were hard.

Manager was a bit brusque when we first arrived saying the rooms weren't ready yet. Where's the cead mile failte :-)

I really enjoyed my stay. Staff were friendly and helpful. The food was excellent and the location was just on the beach.
