The property was clean, well equipped and is in a great location.(Even fresh flowers to welcome us.) We had a great holiday with the children & grandchildren. It is close to a playground, dog park and the esplanade. Easy walk to the reef for the little ones for crab hunting. Then perfect to be able to drive onto the beach with all the swimming gear.

What a fantastic weekend away in a great holiday home. Unfortunately our getaway coincided with quite rainy weather, but the house was so well set up that a weekend indoors proved just as much fun! Spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, including cute Christmas decorations. The house is well stocked with all the essentials, and a great layout for kicking back with friends to enjoy a local drop of wine. It was just the adults for this trip, but definitely keen to come back with kids and fur baby as the set up for them is equally great with plenty of toys, second living space, and fully enclosed yard. Just a short walk to the beach, what more can you ask for! Great responsive hosts. A fantastic little getaway.

Enjoyed the stay. House was good with a lovely complimentary bottle of wine. Great, easy communication with the owners. The only thing we didn’t like was having to take our rubbish with us instead of placing them in the house council bins.

Weekend getaway
Hi Julia. We did enjoy our stay and it was great with the dogs as well. Only problem for us was the stairs. Not your fault though. We have disabilities and our dog is 14: 1/2 yrs old so boys had to carry a 41 kg Labrador up and down the stairs! Anyway thanks so much for a lovely place. Would suggest mats outside of doors to protect carpet . Kind regards Jo Goodall

Great Stay.
Our 3 families had a great stay, plenty of room for all of us and our 3 dogs who enjoyed the fenced back yard.
Ample supplies of kitchen and bathroom supplies. Also a few pantry supplies.
The three toilets were an added bonus. House is just around corner from takeaway shops.
Communication was extremely prompt and helpful.

Super Stay!
We hired this house for friends to stay with us the night before and night of our son’s wedding. The house had ample room to accommodate 3 couples and 4 adult children. It was well furnished, clean and the instant hot water service and 3 toilet were highly valued. We had a delightful stay and would highly recommend this place. Many thanks.

Great getaway retreat!
Our family really enjoyed the Beach Retreat. It was spacious and airy with a great living area where we spent most of our time upstairs inc the deck. We appreciated the stylish decor, household & bathroom extras, games, location to the beach and takeaway shops. Our little Jack Russell settled in well and it was great she could come along. Julia was very accommodating and personable and made sure we had everything we needed for a lovely stay. Matt & Julia have really thought about making their guests stay very comfortable. Excellent location and stunning home!
This property was absolutely beautiful to stay at and immaculate. I stayed here the night before my wedding as it was close to our venue and it was so lovely to have such a big ensuite to get ready in as well as lots of light filled spacious rooms. The gardens were perfect and secure for our two small dogs. Julia was an absolute pleasure to deal with beforehand and so helpful in the lead up. Would highly recommend this to anyone looking at staying in the area!!

Fabulous location and hosts
Organising this holiday around Covid border travel restrictions and snap knockdowns was an ordeal, but Matt and Julia were so understanding and flexible that it removed a big piece of the stress. And the rest of the stress was worth it! House is well laid out, and stocked with basics in the pantry - perfect base for a week of exploring the Mclaren Vale region with my extended family.

family easter getaway
We had a fantastic time at Aldinga Beach! The house was ideal with our 3 dogs that enjoyed to hang out in the fenced yard in the shade of the fig tree. A short stroll to the beach and the dogs can release their energy running around the water. Would come back :)

Memorable stay with my bridal party and family
The house was perfect for my bridal party and I to stay and get ready the morning of our wedding, which was nearby in Sellicks Beach. It boasts a great location near shops and the beach. It's super spacious, modern and comfortable to stay in. Highly recommend.

Great getaway
My friends and I had a great stay. It’s a awesome location just a short walk to the beach. Accommodation is a great size and has good facilities, would be a perfect house for families too.
Only negative thing was the oven was not cleaned, it had dirty foil still in it and there was no dish cloth to use.
I would happily stay here again and would recommend to others.
