Just returned from a three generation Breckenridge family ski trip in this terrific house, which is exceptionally well located both for skiing and for après ski activities. The house has been redone from top to bottom in tasteful and utilitarian fashion. Rental agent was very helpful and responsive.

Very nice house, very clean, laid out well and has all the amenities we wanted. Thorough instructions re checking in and checking out. Good location, easy walk to Main Street. Full complement of dishes, pots and pans, silverware, etc. Nice beds, linens, and towels. Maybe this is picky, but we could not find any hot pads for removing pans from oven, and could use some plastic glasses for use in hot tub. Didn't respond to after hours "emergency" phone call until the next morning.

We had a wonderful month on French Street right across from the orange VW! Our adult children and grandchildren joined us at different times. There was plenty of room. Kitchen was well equipped for all the meals we prepared. Hot tub was right outside the back door, quite convenient. All the beds were very comfortable. River Ridge staff was extremely responsive and helpful. Very close to downtown, short walk or bus ride to the gondola. Would rent this house again.

We had another excellent stay in Breck and the "French Street Retreat" was a wonderful place to call home while we were there (five people in our party). The check in process was easy, the home is outstanding, spacious, very well appointed and spotlessly clean. The location is excellent--we walked everywhere--Main Street shops and restaurants, Quicksilver lift, and Gondola--and the shuttle stop is just on the corner. We highly recommend this house if you're looking for a spot for a family vacation. We look forward to returning.

French Street is perfect for a cozy comfortable retreat. It was clean and felt like a new home. There was plenty of room for three couples to have their own space, and to relax together in front of the fireplace. Everything we needed was there, and we were able to walk to town, restaurants, and trails.

We loved this house & its proximity to town…. We could walk almost everywhere!! We had 6 adults, 3 children, and 2 dogs…. Everyone was happy! The hosts were very helpful & quick to respond to texts. Highly recommend if you’re in Breckenridge!

It’s at a great location to walk to Main Street for food and shopping. Our only issue was a limit of 2 cars on property, which was stated in the rental description.

House is great. Great location, great amenities. My issue is with the property management group River Ridge Rentals that manages this property. The main over head light in our room was the ceiling fan light. I checked seven ways to Sunday to attempt to get it to work (try the switches, the remote to the ceiling fan, pulling the manual cord) and none of them work. I contact the property management representative to inform her, she completely blew off my maintenance request (alright well we will try to get someone out there either today or tomorrow in a tone that amounted yeah, what ever just deal with it) and needless to say no one ever came. Having to use our bathroom illuminate what ever section of the room we could, making it extremely difficult to navigate getting ready, or what ever other after dark activities that needed to be done, extremely difficult especially with a 5 month old

Writing this because of poor customer service
House is great. Great location, great amenities. My issue is with the property management group River Ridge Rentals that manages this property. The location is great, and the property is clean. That’s where the positives end. The bathrooms are HORRIBLY constructed. In one the shower door opened directly in front of the toilet, so there’s no room to get in/out, and it’s constructed in a way that there is no airflow, so the grout was moldy. Gross. Also, a good pest control company would be helpful. We killed several spiders in our room, and one crawled out from where I was sitting on the couch. If you would like the make use of the hot tub, I suggest you befriend your neighbors as they will be watching you while they eat dinner from their dining room. The pipes in the storage/laundry room were leaking, which we noticed as we were leaving. It looks like they were just stuck together- not welded. There was water literally dripping from several fittings, so this isn’t a new problem. The doorbell was broken and pieces were just left sitting on the porch. Overall, it feels like this property was constructed quickly, cheaply and with no quality control. Since I never saw a negative review for this property, I suspect there’s some picking and choosing on what reviews are posted.
