It was more than we expected. The grounds were beautiful. The cabin was cozy and restful. It was centrally located to downtown Topanga, within walking distance. We loved our stay.

Stayed for four nights with my teen daughter for a mother/daughter trip. Property is charming, located in a creekside oasis. Bedrooms were perfect - second bedroom is smaller but still plenty of space. Well-equipped kitchen, lots of space to spread out. Low ceiling height in shower, so might be challenging for taller people. Outdoor space is spectacular. Fully private patio and fully fenced front yard. Other VRBOs on the property, but you wouldn't know it. Felt totally private. Loved my morning coffee on the patio while the teen slept in. Canyon location is stunning, but a decent drive up and down. Fun winding road, but tricky if you get carsick. Communication with host was clear and detailed. Would not hesitate to recommend and would happily stay again. Well located, able to get into the city as well as the beach. Loved the Mexican vibe the cottage had. Very eclectic in furnishings. Jennifer was a joy to work with. This cottage deserves 5 STARS all the way…..😁

Easily one of the best places we’ve ever stayed. Charming, cozy, relaxing property in and out, and very well equipped, especially the kitchen. Totally worth the few minutes drive up from Pacific Coast Highway to be in such a cool spot. The ride up really is only six or seven minutes, and it’s an easy drive even at night on a two lane, well-travelled road. Restaurants, grocery store only five-ish minutes walk in chill Topanga. Very responsive host. Great communication.

We fully enjoyed our Creekside stay in Topanga. The property was just as advertised and the place was clean and comfortable with easy access to Santa Monica as well as Topanga. It was quiet, private, and pleasant.

If you’re needing something close to the beach in Malibu at a generous value, this is your spot. The drive to either north or south of the canyon isn’t terribly congested, there’re restaurants/shops within walking distance, and the home itself has much to offer with its spacious patio. If you do stay at this place, I recommend arriving while it’s still daylight (check-in time permitting). There is a particularly sharp bend coming North as you go up the hill. As the description says, keep your eyes peeled for the lit peace sign.

Very clean, spacious, quiet, secluded, and convenient

This is an adorable place to stay. The house is like in the pictures and has a romactic atmosphere, is nicely decorated and there is even a record player and records availble. It has plenty of space around and although there are more houses around it is quite private(unless you don"t like chickens).The terrases have quite some shade to so it will not become too hot.There is a well equipped kitchen with plenty of herbs and other stuff to use. The bathroom could have some more storage space and a towel rack. The parking is private and has a gate with remote control which is very handy. Nearby there are some nice small shops at the Pine Tree Circle. The house is perfectly located between Woodland Hills and the ocean side

Jennifer’s place was the perfect weekend getaway for me and my friend. The rooms are clean and well decorated, the kitchen had everything we needed, and the back patio was inviting and relaxing. We shared a glass of wine and talked to the chickens and had coffee by the creek in the morning. Great location and a wonderful host!

I had a pleasant time here. Very quite, soothing. I enjoyed hearing the roasters crook! The place follow ur heart was just that. Clean, quiet and pleasant. Easy access in and out and not far from beach. Thank you for a great place.

Follow your heart is a lovely cottage in beautiful Topanga Canyon. Jennifer was a delight to work with and the cottage was perfectly prepared for guests. We had a wonderful mini vacation in LA made all the better by a quaint comfortable place to stay.

From the moment I arrived I felt peace. The place had everything I needed and some extras that were delightful. So much private space outside. The decor was amazing and everything was well kept. Any questions I had were promptly attended to. Such an amazing space and owner. I plan to go back when I need a reprieve from daily life.

We flew in from the east coast to watch our daughter in a play at the beautiful Theatricum just down the road. Our 3 day stay here was absolutely delightful. The cottage is so charming and inviting, private and equipped with anything you’ll need. Jennifer’s directions for check-in and everything else you’d need to know are clear and specific. The beds are comfy, and we loved being greeted by the chickens! We were able to walk to restaurants, a market, and great shops. We will definitely be back next year!

We enjoyed the tree frogs and chooks from the patio, as much as the comfy accommodations. Beautiful artwork all around. Excellent instructions and information. We would definitely like to return.

This property was wonderful to stay at! Everything was clean and tidy. We were pleasantly surprised to find chickens in the back of the property, whom we enjoyed eating breakfast with each day. The host checked in with me to ensure everything was going well, and all our needs were met. Would definitely go back!

I enjoyed the rustic, back to nature stay. A beer around the firepit and a walk to the stream at the bottom of the garden. The ducks, geese and chickens just outside the gated area reminded me of my childhood times. In the house every mod con was provided, better than a hotel in that respect. The stay allowed us to explore the whole coast and life in this area. Thank you so much.

Tucked away along a windy road in a canyon, this stay was very comfortable. Small but private, with plenty of outdoor space to relax, and the hammock was lovely for a mid afternoon nap. There are a few non-chain grocery stores and restaurants around the corner within walking distance if desired for supply runs. Be aware, though, if you're looking to sleep in, the crowing rooster on the property may change that plan, with a prompt 6am alarm *just for you.* I didnt mind as I was still on east coast time, but for those snoozers, you may want to bring ear plugs or turn on some white noise. Overall a very comfortable experience. Would recommend and stay here again if needed.

We were thrilled with this spot. Instructions were clear and helpful, very clean, fully stocked kitchen. Friendly dogs, chicken, ducks and turkeys! A paradise for my husband, 2 yr old and best friend. The 2 yr old especially appreciated the toy box and beach toys. We look forward to our next visit!

I loved staying at Jennifer's place, and everything was not only comfortable and easy, but also unique and thoughtfully done. The farm animals are delightful to watch, and the house has everything you need to enjoy a snug vacation away from the city noise.

As a solo female traveler, it’s always a little hard to find the “perfect” spot where you feel safe, at night especially. Not once did I ever feel uneasy. I walked to/from the little town center multiple times, and all was well. The owner is super sweet, and I appreciated that she checked on me to make sure everything was going well. Definitely recommend this place! ♥️

My friends and I love it here was very relaxing and beautiful!

This amazing space has it all, color, coziness, warmth, location, outdoor and indoor beauty, from the record player, to the typewriter and the Tom Turkey, the decor, the sound of the rushing creek, we just delighted in every moment we spent there! We were sorry the weekend was over too soon! The host was very responsive and so friendly. Follow Your Heart is a new family favorite.

I stayed here with family and found the cottage to be cozy and comfortable and roomy enough for us. Everything was as pictured and communication with the owner was excellent.
