L'endroit est magnifique, le personnel adorable et très accueillant et la ville, charmante et agréable. Mon enfant et moi, avons passé un fabuleux séjour. Nous avons adoré le charme et l'histoire de cette maison, la décoration et le confort de la chambre. Le petit déjeuner était top avec des fruits frais, des viennoiseries, du pain, du fromage, de la charcuterie... L'hebergement 'la Lauze et l'anguille' est extrêmement bien situé dans Gaillac et est un bon point de départ pour visiter les alentours. Il y a tellement de choses à découvrir et à faire! Et l'ambiance est super! Un grand merci à Cyril et Nabil, des hôtes parfaits. Et merci à leur chat star Papilou!

Die Wohnung ist absolut außergewöhnlich. Historisches Haus mit Designermöbeln und liebevollen Details. Badezimmer und Dusche waren sehr modern, alles war man brauchte war vorhanden. Die Gastgeber waren extrem hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück war ein Traum!

Le lieu plein de caractère. Le charme de l'endroit. Le cadre familial. L'agencement du logement. La qualité des aménagements (lit, sdb, sanitaires) L'accueil/l'offre petit déjeuner parfait. Le sourire et les conseils locaux de la famille hôte.

This Chambre d'Hote is in an ancient building in a pedestrian area near the river. It is a really special stay, full of character features. The breakfast (included in the price) was delicious, fresh juice, fruit, pastries, a loaf of bread, ham, cheese and lovely tea and coffee. The host gave us lots of information, then left us to do our own thing. Highly recommended. Gaillac is one of the loveliest villages we visited in France.

Loved the rustic and medieval feel of the place. Especially the breakfast and setting have been amazing.

I wish there would have been clearer instruction on where and how to access the breakfast place. But questions about it where answered swiftly via text.

I loved the rustic atmosphere in the accommodation and the location. I felt we were in another world. Cyril and his son were awesome hosts. Oh, great accessibility by bus or by train.

Authentically renovated, medieval house of fascinating importance with charming hosts and an excellent continental breakfast. Recommended for those interested in local and European culture and history. Fans of standardised, uniform, international hotel chains should look elsewhere.

The tap (faucet) over the bathroom basin was particularly noisy.

We have stayed here before and would certainly return again. A warm welcome from our hosts. Lovely apero offered on arrival: melon, wine or water. A superb breakfast. In addition to the en suite bedroom you have access to the hosts' dining room where you can relax. All of Gaillac's historical attractions and restaurants are within walking distance. No air-conditioning but since the building is several centuries old, it always felt cool. Parking is within 100 yards from the house but walking from the house is quite steep. The building and its historical location in the town is unique . The value for money is outstanding.

We had an unexpectedly warm and friendly reception which was sprinkled with Gaillac wine and foie gras. On the other hand, sleeping in this house, completely renovated, which five hundred years ago hosted Francois Premier for three nights, our thoughts took us to those times of medieval turmoil.
