Spotlessly clean, bright & airy apartment. Ideal for us 2 & our little dog. Comfy bed & well equipped kitchen. Nice little bath as well as a shower - you don't always get the option of both in self catering accomodation. In the centre of Marple near shops, pubs cafes, park & canal walks. Ideal for exploring the Peak District. Close to local bus services if you want to dump your car - free parking space right at the door of the apartment. Helpful & friendly host.

The location was perfect and the flat fitted our needs perfectly

perfectly appointed apartment, the location was superb with spark close by and lovely bars on the high street. A few miles from a wedding venue which is why we choose the Hive.

The apartment is very clean, well decorated and has everything you need for a comfortable short break. The location is good with convenient parking as well as good access to trains to Manchester. Communication with the owner was very good throughout. The cafe opposite was excellent and so was the nearby Cambodian restaurant.

We were slightly disturbed by several customers having long and loud conversations under our bedroom window after 11pm when the bar opposite closed. This only happened one night during our stay so is probably not a frequent occurrence.

The property absolutely exceeded our expectations. We loved our stay, it was beautifully decorated and Jane even took the time to decorate it for our stay over Christmas and leave a little present for our little girl. It was very clean, very comfortable and conveniently located to shops and retaurants. We absolutely loved our stay here! We couldn't fault a single thing.

A super little flat with all the facilities we needed. A Coop supermarket is a minute away on foot, and there are fast food outlets and a great Bangladeshi restaurant within easy walking distance. Everything went smoothly and we are very likely to come back again. Parking is good, off-road and just for the flat. The location is quiet at the back and faces onto a pedestrian precinct at the front. One evening there was some noise from a bar across the road but it didn't bother us and it stopped early.

The welcome pack was very nice to have. And it being central for shops and bars.

Everything had been thought of Spotlessly clean. Cheerful decor and great position.

The Hive provided everything we needed. It's a modern apartment that we found very comfortable and well appointed. I would definitely recommend. Jane, the host was very helpful when I left something, she sent it back to me and the communication was excellent.

It was really cosy. Such a good location. everything was within walking distance. Had all the amenities required. The host kept in touch. Any questions were answered immediately. The beds were so comfortable.

There wasn’t anything that I didn’t like.

There is a lot to like about the flat. It's nicely decorated, very clean, close to shops, parking right outside, plenty of plug sockets, basic essentials provided, and the bed is comfortable. A dog bowl, towel and treats were also provided, which I found really thoughtful. Jane was very helpful when needed.

Nothing of note... The only things I remember needing were an extra tea towel and washing up sponge.

Everything was perfect for our second stay at The Hive. The appt was spotlessly clean, the bed very comfy and a nice welcome tray left which was very appreciated after a long journey. Very good communication with Jane. Highly recommended

Very cosy apartment in a great location over the market street of Marple. Plenty of kitchen facilities and good heating provision, as well as comfortable furniture.

The window in the bedroom overlooking the street was not very well insulated, and let a lot of noise in despite the street being pedestrianised. The internet stopped working, which is a major problem for travellers needing to check in or submit test results online. The parking is behind the apartment, and the sign to indicate the parking space is very small and at the bottom of the driveway. In the dark, it was very hard to find until I was actually on top of it. A sign near the top of the driveway would be more helpful.

Very informative owner with great communication. Most places like this have poor utensils, this one has everything you need. Very clean and felt brand new. Nice and quiet also. Will be staying again.

The LKD space was well thought out, well equipped and comfortable for 2 people on a short break and the good choices near the location meant you could happily leave the car on the drive for a coffee, drink or meal.
