The room, bathroom and facilities were all amazing. Location was spot on too.

Didn't overly care, but there was dust in a few spots and the toilet seat was a little loose. Nothing to complain about to be honest

I loved this place right from arrival when I was personally welcomed by the owner Paul. There are some really nice touches here, a little cuddly toy creature sitting on the bed, and some excellent tea from a local producer Chai Wallah of Margate (I ordered some for myself as soon as I got home). My bed was extremely comfortable and I had an excellent night's sleep. The wi-fi worked well, which was important as I was visiting Margate for work. In the morning I spent some time in the lovely, quirky little courtyard complete with a goldfish pond - would have stayed longer but I had a train to catch. The location is great, only a few minutes' walk from the seafront and about ten from the station which is on the edge of town. There are some superb, friendly bars (Fez, the Xylo Brewery and the Two Halves) less than five minutes walk away as well as plenty of places to get food. I will certainly stay here again next time I'm in Margate!

Frankly for a short stay like mine it was ideal - there's certainly nothing I'd complain about. I think if I were staying longer I'd have liked a chair in my room rather than sitting on the bed. The only other observation I'd make is that older or less healthy guests might find the steps up to the room heavy going.

Location is superb for the Old Town.

The room and courtyard are aesthetically inspiring, and the attention to detail in the room is fantastic, I felt instantly at home. The location is perfect; very central, easy to come and go from, near the shops, cafés and bars, but still residential, so it's very peaceful. I'll definitely be returning.

Very central location, very well designed and very comfortable . Lovely courtyard as well. The host was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely come back again.

Paul was a fantastic host friendly & approachable Loved the little touches like the tea/coffee & rock! But the bed quilt & pillows made for a fantastic nights sleep, spotlessly clean room can definitely recommend

We loved how different The Beetroot is . All taps and shower fittings and furniture is to a high standed .Great Courtyard area to sit out in the evenings.
