Good location. Very clean and tidy. Comfortable bedding. Well-appointed. Nice property.

Did not like that our room (Swan) had no shower - just a tub with shower attachment. No common areas to relax. Little information on activities in the area. Little coziness that I appreciate in a B&B.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Usk Guest House. The house dates back to the mid 1800s, and is tastefully decorated in keeping with the age of the house. The hosts Steve and Sam have added lovely art pieces and furniture around the house. Our room was very clean; the bed very comfortable. We ate very hearty breakfasts, fuelled up for a days walking. Sam and Steve were excellent hosts and made us very welcome.

Steve and Sam were lovely and fantastic hosts, had chats with them every morning at breakfast and they recommended places for us to visit as we were there for 1 week. A great breakfast menu choice. The Usk guest house was in a good location, 5 mins walk to the village where they have 2 pubs, which we visited. Also there is a canal which we walked along to the pub in the next village. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Steve and Sam were amazing hosts and the breakfast was delicious, they were very helpful and made our stay very enjoyable. The rooms were immaculate and very comfortable with everything we could have asked for. If visiting the area again this would be our 1st choice of accommodation.

Very friendly hosts, spotlessly clean bedroom, bathroom and totally quiet environment. Good breakfast range and good quality food. Hosts ensures a relaxing stay to an exacting standard.

Poor hot water pressure to fill bath ( Kingfisher room ) and could do with an overhead shower as it only had one fitted to the bath taps.

This Guest House is immaculate and the hosts are very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was superb.

Clean bright rooms, comfortable beds, absolutely delicious breakfast. We had a great packed breakfasts as needed to leave really early on the morning of the event which was really handy.

No room tidy, no replacement of toiletries / coffee / milk & biscuits. After three nights... It's true not all B&Bs offer this - but some do!

This was our second stay, great rooms, great location and friendly hosts. Great pubs for dining within easy walk.

Lovely hosts, Steve and Sam, who looked after us throughout the stay. The Guest House is cozy and modern and was the perfect place for our getaway. The delicious breakfasts fuelled us through some great local hikes and Steve gave some good recommendations on where to visit locally.

High standard rooms, exceptionally clean premises, friendly family run establishment and standard of cooked breakfast exceptional!!
