Thete are not enough stars available for communication with owner, he was excellent! We love playing board games with our kids, so this house was perfect! Had a nice hot tub, deck was a great place for breakfast and that sought after morning quiet time with my coffee. We loved spying out the white squirrel who lived in the back yard, he was precious! Not to mention the surprising visit from a ground hog!! The neighbors were very friendly, and it was in perfect walking distance to go get ice cream in the evening and perfect driving distance to go hiking in Pisgah and see waterfalls. The kitchen was well stocked so we were able to have breakfast and dinner nearly every day at the house to be budget concious. The location is great for both adventurers or home bodies who like to walk to historic downtowns. Highly recommend this house!

Convenient location in a good neighborhood, good base for hiking, walking to town.

Big Game House provided a wonderful place for us to stay on our Biking trip to beautiful Brevard and WNC. The house is easy, walking distance to the shops and restaurants of downtown. However, you may not want to leave the house, as it is well stocked With games, foosball, bumper pool table. Very comfortable bedrooms and living area. The hot tub and back patio as well as the fire pit were great fun. We look forward to coming back to this property as soon as we can make it to the mountains again. Thanks for the wonderful stay.

The house is just as listed. Everything that we needed was supplied. John also added some personal touches that were very appreciated. The house is clean and perfect for a family getaway.

We enjoyed our time in Brevard. The house was close to Gorges State Park and DuPont State Park, which is where we wanted to hike.

We absolutely loved our stay at our 1st ever Vrbo rental! It was so close to downtown Brevard. Loved shopping downtown and we attended our nieces wedding at The Pretty Place nearby. Fenced in backyard was so much pleasure for our fur babies as well

Nice, cozy home. Very clean and close to downtown. Yard is nice with plenty of seating and a fire pit to enjoy. Great hosts!

House exactly as advertised. Everything was clean and worked (wifi, appliances, etc.) and kitchen was well-stocked. Instructions were clear and everything was nicely labeled. Easy walk into town for shops, restaurants; short drive to our fishing destination on the Davidson river. Would definitely come back.

The home was very clean and kitchen well stocked with everything you will need. A 10 minute easy walk will have you in downtown Brevard. Even though the house will sleep 6 comfortably, that many might find themselves a bit crowded inside the rest of the home, from the kitchen to the living room area. We would definitely rent this home again, thank you

Absolutely loved every thing.

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at the ‘Game house’. There was a nice welcome of 6 cans of local beer and a bottle of wine when we arrived. The kitchen was well equipped, with plenty of towels for the bathroom and hot tub (sadly we didn’t have time to try it out). The ‘games’ room was filled with all kinds of games such as table hockey, puzzles, cards, in fact everything you would find in a toy store. A child’s heaven and enough to keep the adults occupied if needed. John who owns O.P. Taylor’s the store in town was the perfect host as we were lucky enough to meet him. We would definitely stay here again when we visit Brevard.

The 'Big Game' house is just about perfect. The kitchen is better equipped than our kitchen at home, the beds seemed more comfortable. House located in quiet neighborhood with deck and yard for sitting and relaxing, but plenty of games available inside for rainy days. Pefect location; easy walk into town, quick access to hiking, biking. Host has done a great job setting this place up for a comfortable stay.

Located in a quiet lane in a very nice neighborhood, the house was very clean and well equipped I needed a place to play string music where I could concentrate in quietude This home was perfect If I had been with my family there would be plenty of room for us and many fun table games to play and a great deck with hot tub John was very accommodating!! We had a perfect stay. The home was very clean and organized. Comfortable beds and sitting areas. Backyard was perfect for our dog. Home provided alot of things we didnt have to bring ex toilet paper, paper towels, dishes, coffee maker and more. If we visit the area again we would definitely stay here.

The house was so plentiful of whatever needs you had. You could literally drive up and go in the house and have everything you need except for your clothes. Walking distance to town is a huge plus. We would stay here again. Thanks

My family stayed here for a few nights while we visited Brevard. The kids loved the hot tub and ping pong table. I enjoyed the well-stocked kitchen and laundry room. Also, my husband and I enjoyed our morning strolls into town to get a pastry at the bakery downtown. John was kind enough to get the house ready a day early for us when our plans changed, and he communicates very quickly.

A great property for the price. What it lacks in mountain views, it more than makes up for in many other ways! Convenient to downtown and Brevard Music Center, as well as fun amenities like a hot tub, foosball, ping pong, large deck and endless games. Owner is very communicative and accommodating. Clean and spacious and the kitchen is incredibly well-equipped! The online pictures don’t do it justice. Very nice remodeled bathroom.

House was great. Beds were super comfortable and hosts were awesome. The location is great - close to town and close to trails. Hot tub was super relaxing after a long day of riding the trails Highly recommend!

We chose Brevard as our vacation destination as a dog-friendly city with The White Squirrel Festival happening over Memorial Day Weekend. Not only was that all we expected and more, John & Suzie's house was perfect for our group, and they are wonderful people as well. Meeting them at OP Taylor's Toy Store was an added bonus to our vacation! A+++

It was a wonderful weekend in Brevard. This is probably my 5th time staying at O.P.’s and it’s always a pleasure! The house is clean and has everything we need. It’s so close to everything in Brevard and now that the bike trail is finished close to the house, we just hopped right on for an easy ride. Thanks again for the great hospitality. We will be back!
