I will start with the staff who were off the charts EXCELLENT ... my husband was sick on our two night stay there and they helped us with everything from calling ambulance, to translating for medics, to calling the airline to see if we could postpone our flight, to recommending where to get medication. And even apologizing all the time that they couldn't do more! The hospitality, especially even for this somewhat budget accomodation, just knocked our socks off. AMAZING. Thank you! Check in and check out and luggage storage were also just a breeze.

The room itself, I must say though, was extremely small for two people. It had everything you need, (and maybe quite a few things you don't), but for the area and especially the price it is great option for a few nights.

My 2nd stay at an APA Hotel and, as expected, it met my expectations. While not located near any tourist areas, it was a quick 10 minute subway ride to downtown Osaka. Since the weather was amenable, I quite enjoyed the 30-40 minute walk to/from Dotonbori. It's also one stop away from Osaka-Umeda Station so it was an ideal location for day trips.

The room was clean but I think the shower/bathtub was forgotten--it was not a pleasant experience to remove the previous guests' hair clogging the drain. Also, as with the previous APA Hotel, they were too generous with the amenities. I had specifically requested that I didn't need any more but I kept returning to a new bag of goodies every evening.

Always visit Japan will book APA hotel to stay and this is my first time stay at Osaka APA hotel. Overall APA hotel layout are standardised, such a big TV front of the bed and clean.

Good location, close to the metro and easy to get to Osaka and Shin-Osaka train stations. Small but confortable rooms.

The rooms needed better cleaning, the carpet floor was dirty, the room a bit dusty.

It was a little far away from busy areas so shops and restaurants nearby closed early and on Sundays.

It is a business hotel, so the rooms are functional (aka there is not a lot of space). The room clima was very nice.
