Schönes Haus mit umlaufender Veranda in idyllischer Lage in der Stadt South Haven. Sechs kurze Blöcke zum Dyckman Beach, acht kurze Blöcke zum North Beach. Fahren Sie am malerischen Yachthafen vorbei und gehen Sie zu Fuß in vier Häuserblocks in die Innenstadt von South Haven, in der sich viele köstliche Restaurants, reizvolle Boutiquen und ein altmodisches Kino befinden. Schritte zum national bekannten Kal Haven Trail, einer Kitty-Ecke vom Optimist Tot Lot Park und direkt über die Dyckman Bridge zum Stanley Memorial Park. Eine fabelhafte Lage!
Beschreibung des Hauses: Dieses Haus hat einen schönen, offenen Grundriss mit einer großen Wohnküche, geräumigen Ess- und Wohnzimmern und einer Gästetoilette im ersten Stock. Es gibt drei großzügige Schlafzimmer für insgesamt neun Personen und ein Vollbad im zweiten Stock. Das gesamte Äußere und Innere des Hauses wurde geschmackvoll gestrichen. Entspannen Sie auf der umlaufenden Veranda oder auf dem neu gebauten, privaten Achterdeck mit Blick auf den Wald, das Sie bequem über Glasschiebetüren im Speisesaal erreichen.
Entfernung zu einigen größeren Städten: South Haven liegt etwas mehr als zwei Stunden von Chicago und drei Stunden von Detroit entfernt. Die Stadt und ihre Annehmlichkeiten bieten einen wunderbaren Kurzurlaub für Familien und Paare. Ein toller Urlaub zu einem tollen Preis.

This was the perfect house for our first family vacation! We have three little girls (5,3, and a baby) and we made great memories both at the beach and in this home. We especially loved the porch swing! It was so clean and very well stocked with everything we needed. We will definitely be back!

Kyle and Debbie were very nice and quick on communication. The house is bright and well stocked with supplies which is always appreciated. Neighborhood is cute and across the street from a park which is ideal for littles (playground and basketball goal).We love the big front porch. The location is pretty good in regard to distance to beaches and the town, much more doable with rented bikes (less than 10 mins on bikes to North Beach, 20 min walk,15 mins to a small beach which was great to watch the sunset). We drove when all 6 of us were going to the beach as carrying all of our stuff would have been tricky.

The house is just as it looks. It was very clean and had everything we needed. The beds are comfortable. Plenty of family friendly dvds, puzzles, and games if you have a rainy day or need down time. Nice large dining room and table with seating. The deck with a grill and the porch are great bonuses. The neighborhood is pleasant and safe. Cute little park on the corner if you have little kids. I have teens so we didn’t use it. The location is ideal!! Very short walk to town and beach.

We enjoyed staying in this house and especially its location. It was one of the most well stocked cottages we have ever stayed in. It had everything we needed, and then some. It was an easy walk to town, and the neighborhood was charming. We would stay here again!

We had an excellent stay! The house was a perfect size for our group and the location even better. We were close to downtown and the beaches and close to several parks. Any questions we had were answered promptly and courteously. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

We felt very safe in this home and this neighborhood. We loved the ease of walking to local eateries. The beds were comfortable and the living room had a nice vibe to hang out and talk in the evenings. The reason I didn't give it a "5" is that it is a little rough around the edges. The porch needs a little attending to (sagging boards and a coat of paint) but it was very clean and convenient.

My best friend is getting married. A couple of friends and I decided let’s do some king salmon fishing. We aren’t drinkers and fishing is our thing. We had plenty of space and mins away from everything and the water. Thanks again will be back.

The house was adorable and comfortable. Only wish we would've known there wasn't an iron and a blow-dryer, which normally wouldn't matter, but we were in for a wedding, so those would have been very helpful.

Initially the VRBO site had some sort of hiccup in my booking but the property owners were WONDERFUL when they called me to sort it out over the phone. We found the house to be extremely clean with comfortable furnishings. The location was exactly what we were looking for- very quiet neighborhood with easy access to town or the beach. A driveway in which to park our car was great. The wide front porch and back deck for grilling were added bonuses. The only tiny recommendation I might have would be to have a fan or two available for the bedrooms. The upstairs got a little stuffy at night but we had brought a small fan with us and used it at night. We loved the house and location and would definitely return.

We had a lovely time staying here. The house was comfortable and had everything we needed. Owners were responsive and helpful. It’s an older house with character; the main floor was a bit uneven in places which set off my vertigo. Noting for folks who may be sensitive to that. Bunk beds were great for the kids. Proximity to the playground, marina and downtown shopping was awesome. Front porch and back deck were great to enjoy sitting outside. Neighbors super friendly. We would stay here again!

The house had everything we needed for our family of four. The kitchen, bathrooms, laundry and linen closets were well stocked. The house is comfortable and spacious and within walking distance to the water. It is also conveniently located to the Kal-Haven trail if you like to jog/walk/bike. Communication with the owners was easy as well. We enjoyed our stay in South Haven.

A few suggestions. We had 5 women and with only one full bath, it would have been very helpful to have larger mirrors in the bedrooms. We visited wineries and brought some home but there were only 2 very small wine glasses.

The air conditioning was only upstairs, not on the main floor. However if they were kept on high the house stayed fairly cool. The owners shut off the A/C before we arrived and it took quite a while to cool down.

Great location about 1 mile to N Beach. House has plenty of bed space and all necessary amenities for families. Thoughtful touches of board games, plenty of dining space and kitchen cookware are great for families. We had a wonderful stay!

Perfectly comfy
This house was everything my family needed. We love South Haven and appreciated being so close to Downton and the beach. I ran around the beach and to the pier every morning . The walk to the shops was close enough for my 8 year old. The house has everything we needed and was decorated adorably. The Disney plus/net flicks/hulu was an added plus for my children ( 3 & 8). They also loved the buck beds in their room. Will stay again! Thanks!!

Family Time
I would definitely recommend this property. For the price, we were all very happy. Very clean, plenty of space for the 6 of us, the beds were comfy and the sheets were super soft. We loved the large dining space! We loved the wrap-around porch also. The location was also really good! Super close to everything. We would try to stay here again on our next visit to South Haven.

Old but cute
This is a old home. It’s done up cute and everything works fine but if you like everything new this is not the property for you. If you like slanted floors and creaky stairs you will like this property. It didn’t bother us but I could see how some people be put off. Overall it’s a cute old house with lots of character.

Very clean and well-located home
We had a great stay here. Everything was clean, and the house had all that we needed. Our kids really liked the bunk beds as well as the Disney+ streaming service. It felt like staying at home!

Great Location
Location was amazing and walking distance to town. Kitchen was well stocked. The two double beds sunk in the middle and wasn’t comfortable for couples. Otherwise great stay for weekend get away for 4th of July.
