We agreed to rent the condo with no pets. It’s a great location and a nice condo except we didn’t clearly understand the second floor was accessed only by a narrow spiral staircase. Our friend’s daughter goes to college in Colorado. As planned she joined us. Unbeknownst to me her friend came the next day and brought his service dog (not a pet per VRBO policy). I asked Joy if the dog could stay for one night. She said no. I told the service animal owner the answer was “no.” Unfortunately I was skiing and then found out the service dog was already in the condo; and some damage was done to a door and a carpet upstairs. This was not my intent or plan. The landlord’s texts have been filled with inaccurate accusations and have been extremely emotional and unprofessional. I apologized for the situation and asked her for the cost to fix the damage; for which we are willing to pay. The landlord has suggested she cannot rent the property, which is absurd. She has also said she can’t get contractors to fix the door and carpet until the ski season is over; which will be shortly. So, Ok. Let me know the cost to repair the damage and we will cover it. What I don’t want is to be berated by a landlord who is not following VRBO policy as to service animals (not pets) and who continues to berate me after I acknowledged the damage and agreed to pay the cost to repair said damage.

Super wonderful host and property. True ski in ski out. Walkable to town. Fully stocked kitchen. Tons of movies to watch. Very comfortable for a family of 7. Stay here.

We really liked the property and the proximity to the ski area. It is so easy to ski back right at the door. Great stay and responsive manager.

We had a wonderful stay in Beaver Creek! Our group loved being able to ski in/ski out - Elkhorn lift is so close! And a short walk to village. The location is ideal! The condo had plenty of space for our group of 8, however it is cozy for sleeping. We loved using the hot tub apres ski and kitchen was well appointed for our breakfasts. Joy was very communicative and lovely to work with! We highly recommend this condo for your next visit to Beaver Creek!

This property was everything advertised. Renovated and nicely appointed with highly communicative owner. Perfect location just a very short walk to the center of the village. Great parking beneath the building. The climb to the apartment because there is currently no elevator was easy.

Wonderful experience. Condo was super clean and had everything we needed. It was also very quiet. We loved sitting on the balcony and watching the hummingbirds.

My family (4 adults) loves Beaver Creek in the summer. We had never stayed at Townsend Place, but decided to try after seeing the high reviews of the condo on VRBO. The condo did not disappoint - it was spacious, well appointed, and attention to detail given to whatever needs the guests might have. The condo was extremely clean and was filled with extras (towels, bedding, toiletries, etc). The location was a short walking distance from Beaver Creek Village. Hiking, tennis, restaurants and 4th of July concert music, along with the condo made it a perfect getaway. The condo owner was quick to respond to inquiries and very professional. The only negative was the building elevator being out of commission, but in the current environment, it is understandable it takes extra time to fix. Thanks again.

The positive: Owner (Joy) very easy to communicate with and responsive Condo - very clean and well equipped Location-very good for the price, easy ski in and out except the lift to get on to mountain, Elk Horn, is incredibly slow, but no one uses and no line! Easy walk into resort area or call to free shuttle. The negative: Elevator was broken from check in to check out. Unit is on top floor. Taking luggage and groceries upstair 4 flights first day was painful. Going up 4 flights after skiing all day painful and then going down and up for hot tub and anything else sucked. I did text Joy right away and her response was she would check with the property manager. I was concerned as the sign on elevator said issue with getting the part. Joy did offer to refund us if we wanted to find another place or refund us partial $$. We were already there and to try and find another place once we brought up our stuff was unrealistic. While the $$ offered back was generous, I was annoyed when I found out the elevator has had issues for about the last 3-4 weeks. She was aware in advance and I wished we were given the opportunity in advance to find somewhere else to stay. Just a thought whenever you rent on top floor anywhere! The locker is not big enough to accommodate ski boots so you are going up and down with them! She did send me a check very quickly and we do appreciate. There could be a few extra towels so there are extra for hot tub and showering without using for both daily. The hot tub has no storage area or shelter so when snowing your towel and clothes will get wet. We did have a great trip....the elevator was our only issue but it is a very big one!

This property was very perfect for our family. Easy walking distance to the main square and lifts. The condo had everything we needed and extras! The property manager was extremely helpful with our questions about the condo and Beaver Creek in general! Will definitely come again!

This condo was great. It was just a short walk to the Village. You could ski right back to the condo; however the Elkhorn Lift never opened so you we never had the “ski-out” option. The condo was equipped with everything we needed and the owner was awesome with communicating all details to us. We also loved the hot tub and that you could look out the window before we went to make sure it was not crowded. I would definitely recommend this rental.

This three bedroom condo was perfect for our family of five. Very spacious and condo was stocked with everything we could want. The condo was very close to the village. I can't say enough great things about Joy and her communication. She was helpful with restaurant recommendations and answered all other questions we had.

The condo was beautiful and clean, and walking distance to Beaver Creek Village. We were hoping for more snow but we did get about 4 inches during our stay, and our kids were able to take their first ski lesson in Vail which is about 15 minutes away. This property is perfectly located to where you never have to leave the beaver Creek area unless you want to plan fun family day trips which there are many options available that are not too far. We had a great Thanksgiving and a wonderful trip the property and owner were great.

My wife and I stayed here for our wedding weekend and it was perfect! It's a great location and Joy helped make the weekend flow smoothly!

Loved this condo- the beds are very comfortable and I enjoyed cooking in the well-stocked kitchen. A very pleasant walk to Beaver Creek Village. The property hot tub was also plus! Highly recommend

We had a great experience with this property. Joy was friendly and very responsive. The unit was clean, comfortable, and convenient to Beaver Creek Village. We would come back in a heartbeat!

Joy was great to work with. All necessary details were communicated at the appropriate times. When we arrived the property was so tidy and clean. The condo was beautiful and updated, the kitchen and baths were very nice. There are two bedrooms upstairs and one bath, my two sons ( in their 20’s) only complaint was there were no blinds on the top arch window, which the light woke them up early.I told them they needed to be up anyway! We will definitely come back in the future if available. The short walk up to the BC village is a great plus too!! Thank you, Joy for sharing with us!

This is an exceptional property for a family- upstairs for kids, spacious living and kitchen and dining, and in walking distance to BC Village. Can't wait to stay there again!

Property was clean and in a great location. It was well stocked with everything we need for the week and communication with the property manager was great.

This property was perfect for our family! Our two kids loved sharing the upstairs bedroom with two very comfortable queen beds, a television, and a beautiful Mountain View. No A/C, but the open windows at night made for a wonderfully comfortable rest. We loved the location of this property. It is a super short walk to the town center, their is a playground and large hot tub within steps of building’s back door. Property was extremely clean and had many useful amenities like shampoo/conditioner and other assorted bathroom products. The kitchen was stocked with pots, skillets, etc for cooking and also had basic spices, honey, etc. We enjoyed our stay very much and would recommend it to family and friends.

Wonderful Time! We loved the location 7 min walk from base. Ski in and Ski Out was convenient. Condo was everything we wanted; clean, accommodating, comfortable, lovely kitchen, comfy beds. There were board Games for the family. Plus a washer and dryer. Would do this again.

Great stay. We were there for skiing with daughter and son-in-law. Easy walk to village center. Easy ski in/ski out. Very comfortable condo. Perhaps a little older than we expected - but worked beautifully for us. Could do with a better explanation of how to manage a second vehicle. We spent a while at night in heavy snow trying to figure it out (need to drive 2 miles to the entrance to BC, visit an office that issues a pass for you to park the extra vehicle in one of the daily parking lots. Then pay $10 per day at the end of the stay). Loved our stay!!

The unit has be redone recently and is like brand new on the inside. Has all the high end necessities you would need. It is less than 5 minute walk to the village and easy ski in ski out. Hot Tub was great with easy access after a good day of skiing. I would highly recommend this property at Beaver Creek. It will be our new place to stay at Beaver.

The property was perfect for our ski week! It is ski-in/ ski-out and a quick walk in the evenings to dinner in Beaver Creek village. The property manager was great to work with, the place was very clean and just as described, and we had a blast!
