The property worked out just fine for my family vacation. The beach was great, but the steps to it were too unstable for an elderly member of the family. The house served us very well with lots of room for everyone to be comfortable.

So many positives! Great communication with property owner. Well stocked home. Very comfortable. Very pretty; very spacious. Didn’t get a chance to use the game room but it looked really great. Quiet neighborhood. Close to lots of fun excursions. Saw sea lions from the back deck. Hot tub super clean and worked great. Gorgeous view and sunsets. Definitely recommend!!
Just a few negatives:
-very tiny ants in the bedrooms. Not a huge deal since we aren’t too bothered by ants. Just grateful they weren’t something worse!
-windows were a little smudged
-carpets/rugs could use a good cleaning as they had a slight odor
-window blind in bathroom needs replaced as the glass shower lines up directly with the window and the neighbors’ upper level.
-beach access was a cliff we had to jump off and then we had to climb up a log to get back up. Not difficult for us but it could be for some.
Overall loved the place and were so happy with our Oregon coast adventure. Thank you!!!

This is a beautiful home and the views are amazing!

Location has great views and is on a nice private road. Lots of windows facing the ocean making it very nice to look out day or night.
The maintenance was a little lacking. There were items like the sink stopper didn’t work, reclining chair not functional, garage door jam not secure/hard to use, slider door lock didn’t work, WiFi didn’t work throughout the home, garage games were needing maintenance, etc… Hot tub was not very private being in front yard. Private beach access not usable (found this out about 2-3 days before we arrived).
Overall it was a nice place to stay, but for the higher amount we spent, we really expected the home to be better maintained and everything in better, working condition. We would not pay what we did to stay again.

This was the second stay at Alicia by the Sea for a group of six women friends. Last year we were here for a week and this year we stayed two weeks. The place has many positives: amazing ocean views with a small trail access to a fantastic beach, extra comfortable beds, a wonderful great room with a large TV and plenty of seating for a nice sized gathering. The negatives are primarily maintenance items that would be relatively easy and inexpensive to address. It would also be great if some signal booster/repeater could be added so the WiFi signal was more reliable beyond the center of the house.
All in all, we really like this place and hope to return with our grandkids.

I took a friend out to the coast to relax. This was the perfect spot! We woke up to views of the ocean and had easy access to the beach. We even got a bit of a sunset on our first evening! We were in close proximity to everything we needed. Highly recommend for those who are looking to relax and enjoy the beauty that nature provides.

We loved the constant view of the beach and ocean. Loved the sunsets and watching storms roll in as well. Enjoyed many walks on the beach and loved the location of the home.

The house was great and soundproof and cozy! It was extremely relaxing and the view was fantastic! We really enjoyed our time there.
As you would expect in this area, the exterior of the house was "mossy" from all the moisture and the deck not as maintained as the pictures. But - they were perfectly fine, I had just forgotten what it's like in the pacific NW. The interior was pretty clean overall. The showers had some caulking that was coming loose and there was a little mold around the base where the caulking was. The light switches and walls were not as clean as we expected and we ended up cleaning them to make sure we were comfortable. There was a mouse running around that made a few little disturbances but nothing major. The water from the fridge didn't work because it needed a new filter, nor did the washing machine which was inconvenient because we packed light. When we called the property manager, they said they had to order the parts etc, but were not helpful at all.
Overall, it was a great house with all the comforts of home! It was a great base to launch our excursions during the day and a great place for nice relaxing dinners at night! Wonderful wonderful vacation!

With more attention to detail, deep cleaning, and some maintenance this place could score all 5’s.
It is a comfortable enough place but needs a deep clean, repairs to door locks (especially the main bathroom), and window shades (several were broken). We also were without a washer and dryer for our entire 6-night stay. The outside maintenance and yard care are also not at a standard one would expect for spending just shy of 1,000 a night for this property.

All you want to do is stare at the ocean!! :)
The place had incredible views, and was so roomy for our family of four! Everyone had such a great time, and legit all you wanted to do was just stare out the numerous windows at the ocean! Which was totally fine by us all - it's what we came there for ;) The beach access was awesome, a nice, short walk through gorgeous greenery. The place was clean, it had plenty of fresh linens for use, plenty of appropriate cookware and dinnerware for at-home meals, and plentiful comfy areas to relax and look out a window. It was a nice plus to have some garage space for our car too, and we had a good time playing some table tennis and air hockey! Great family stay. You won't be disappointed.

Spring Break Getaway
Stayed for a few days following a UofO visit. Great location overlooking the beach even if the weather was a little mixed. Easy access down to the beach. House was plenty large enough for a family of 4. Lots of hiking/outdoor activities in the area. Overall a great break.

Great ocean view.
Right on the beach . Had two living room heaters that didn’t work. Others were able to keep house warm. Not enough towls in kitchen. Other than these minor issues we had a great time at this rental.

Thanksgiving 2021
The minute we walked into this beautiful home, we felt, at home! Amazing location with spectacular panoramic views. This home helped make our Thanksgiving holiday quite memorable. The private access to the beach is a huge bonus. Close to the quaint downtown of Waldport with a large grocery store and other amenities you may want or need. We will be back to stay here soon!! Thank you for the opportunity to share in your slice of heaven on earth.

Amazing views, location, beach access
Comfortably fit our party of 2 teens, 4 adults and a dog so kids had their own rooms. Comfortable beds. Oregon beaches are the best in the PNW and this one is no exception, especially if you're into fewer people around. If you're cooking for your crew, consider bringing your own large pot and pans as the house has only small and medium. Also bring your own coffee grinder.

Get out of town
The house was very accommodating for our large family, beach was pretty much a short walk away, plenty of rooms & fun things for the grandkids to stay entertained. Loved the table for games & plenty of sitting areas for beach watching or reading.

Beautiful, comfortable, and awesome location
Property was just as advertised. We had an amazing family vacation steps away from the beach. With a beautiful view all day long.. Game room provided lots of laughs. House layout provided excellent separation of space if someone wanted to read or watch TV. If your thinking of booking this property do it, you will not regret it.

My husband and I stayed at Alicia By The Sea for the first time for our anniversary. We selected this property because it was ocean front, had a hot tub, new TV and a game room as Novembers are rainy at the beach.The location was nice and I LOVED the beds. I have a bad back and the mattress was very comfortable, enough that I took a picture to try to buy one myself. There was lots of space. It felt very private and I really liked the decorations.But there were some disappointing things. There is a smell. It's like a urine/mildew combo in some spots in the house, sadly one being the living room. It was hard for me to sit on the couch and not be overwhelmed by it.It is ocean front/view, but the outside bushes are higher than they look in the online pictures and really does block what could be a breathtaking view. You have to stand up to really see it. All of these chairs by the windows and you can't really see the beach very well sitting in them. The dining room table is squeezed between the kitchen counter and the windows. I am a plus size person and it was too tight a squeeze for me. There is another table, but it's not by the windows were the view could be. The fridge, toilets are pretty old. The hot tub is nice and private, its in the yard, works great. WE used it every night we were there. But there are large shrubs right in front of your ocean view. One corner of the hot tub can see the ocean. The hot tub is also placed EXACTLY under the low hanging powerlines. And the game room we were so excited about was not in good shape. The ping pong table is sagging and the two balls provided were not bouncy. It was unplayable. Theres not a lot of sand left for the shuffleboard, which made that tricky.The house is nice. It was a quiet neighborhood. The private walk to the beach was great, not too treacherous and super convenient. The beach is GREAT! The master bedroom was lovely. Like I said, we loved the bed! And the TVs were easy to use, which is not always the case.I left thinking... this could be a really great place, with a deep cleaning, a few updates, a little maintenance in the game room and some landscaping. It's all there, just not being utilized. We personally wouldn't stay at this property again.

The most amazing panoramic ocean view ever!!!The house was decorated beautifully It was clean and fully stocked for cooking anything you wanted. Beds were very comfortable. This is my new favorite place to get away at the beach. I will be back

Incredible views and beach!
Great location and amenities at Alicia by the sea! Luna Sea has wonderful seafood to take and cook here in yachats. Deck was delightful in the sun!

Coastal Visit
The house was very clean, the kitchen well stocked with bowls, plates and utensils and the room layout was great for multifamily to have separate spaces. Great view and really easy beach access to go from the beach and house throughout the day.

Perfect spot. Enjoyed our stay very much. My father in law could enjoy the view while the rest of us walked the beach. Access to the beach is fantastic...

Very nice location
The house setting couldn't have been better. Beautiful views of the ocean from the house with an easy path to the beach. It hit the 2 most important qualities in a beach house. The hot tub was lovely and clean. Which was so important because there were sustained winds on the beach of nearly 30 mph for our entire stay. The play room in the garage had a few problems. The air hockey table was not working and the basketball free throw game was semi falling apart. But the ping pong table, foosball table and curling table were all working. I was disappointed that there was no instructions on how to use the TV's. The front room TV had 3 remotes. The dishwasher was full of greasy dirty dishes. I guess the expectation is the guest load the machine and then the next guest unload it? I don't understand why the house keeper doesn't unload the dishes before she finishes cleaning. The manager came over the next afternoon and cleaned the filters and started the load again. Seemed to be working, but once we unloaded it and tried to use it, it was back to square one. We did our dishes by hand for the rest of the stay. I've gotten a beach house for the last 8 years and I've never had such a poorly stocked kitchen. There was literally salt, pepper, steak seasoning, a little bit of olive oil in the bottom of a bottle and a box of baking soda. No coffee! Ice dispenser is broken and there's no ice trays. So everyone bring everything you could possibly need. There is really nothing there.

Holiday getaway
The property is beautiful, probably the best stocked kitchen of any rental I've been in. The beach access was fantastic. The view spectacular, we saw whales from the living room window! My only suggestion, the game room is not heated, so in November it was to cold to use. But otherwise this house is perfect!

Wonderful Waldport
From first sight we felt privileged to stay in such a beautiful home. The house is large enough that we had room for 6 adults and 4 children easily! Everyone had their own space. The beds and linens were delux, soft and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked, and the views are spectacular! We look forward to returning!
