Loud and noisy over a pub. Super complicated staff. Not very clean. Hardly any lights. Super dark.

Die "schöne" Einrichtung auf der booking.com Seite. Auf den Bildern sieht es schön, hell und ansprechend" aus - in Realität ist es dunkel und klebrig. Da helfen auch die neu aufgeschalteben Bulder nicht. Die Helligkeit vortäuschen.

Was har uns gefallen? NICHTS! - Der Eingang & Treppenhaus der absolute Schock: stinkend, dreckig, ungepflegt (um es nett auszudrücken) - Die brutal laute Klimaanlage der Gastronomie Betriebe im Erdgenschoss - die ganze Nacht! - Die Frechheit Nachts aus dem Schlaf geklingelt zu werden, weil es scheinbar ein Schlüsselproblem mit der Nachbar-Wohnung gab. Türklingel und Telefonanrufe von 23:00 bis 3 Uhr!!! Von einer ENTSCHULDIGUNG seitens "STAYBEYOND Ltd. OFFICE": Fehlanzeige Absolute Frechheit! NEVER EVER AGAIN

Central, convenient-great place from which to explore Oxford

We expected it to be noisy at night due to its central location above some bars. It was- but we traded this against the central location. There were fans but an aircon would have helped as very hot and windows only opened 20cm

The noise was unbearable. There was an industrial air conditioning or something on a neighbouring property than went all the time making a very loud noise in the back room and bedroom. The street noise was extremely loud but expected and would stop after 1am so not as bad. The plates had egg on them when arrived and wasn’t properly cleaned

It’s bit noisy. Not just because it’s in a pub area, also there is something like a machine (probably a air condition of neighborhood) running outside very loudly, especially night time. In addition washing machine doesn’t work, and nobody came to repair or check before we left.

Overall a good experience.

When the party staying is more than 2 it would be useful to have a second set of keys, as not all people may be going to the same places at the same time. I asked about this beforehand and while I stayed but the local team did not get back to us. The fire alarm went off during our stay (it was the restaurant downstairs), we noticed there was not a fire exit information sheet in the flat, we did see the exit signs but have normally seen these by the front doors of other self-catering places we have stayed and hotels. A welcome book with key information would be useful as it could contain instructions for the cooker, microwave and tv/remote. The wifi was on but the password was not working, this may need to be checked as we did restart and try other methods, but it did not work. Not all the radiators work, there were portable ones left instead. The chest of drawers in room with black wallpaper has one drawer without a knob and does not open. These are all little things but if fixed would make a difference.

I was given 8 bottles of conditioner, no shower gel/body wash, no shampoo and 2 English breakfast teabags for a period of 4 days.
