Lovely property with garden, birds and chickens

We rented the casita as a stopover on our trip to Elephant Butte. It is located in a quiet area outside the city. Yet, it is close to Old Town.

Very comfortable space. Kevin and Wendy are very responsive and have thought of everything you might need. I brought my dog with me, she got to meet chickens for the first time, it was great fun to watch the ladies go about their day :) There is a large grassy backyard that you can use to let your dog run free, lots of fun. The ditch paths are quite nice and a great place to go for a walk, mostly shaded. We will definitely recommend this place and we would stay here again!

Great host great location could get ever where without driving.

The apartment is comfy and clean and the back patio with a hot tub and lights was perfect, and where we spent most of our evening. A great spot for a staycation getaway in Albuquerque!

One of the best VRBOs I’ve stayed at. Friendly, amendable, responsive, homey, and flexible. I was at “home away from home”. Left some items behind. Contacted me the next day, and they shipped within the week, at no charge. Plenty of extras: coffee, snacks, food, and accoutrements. Will stay here the next time in ABQ. Located within easy drive to every place I wanted to visit and tour. And, when I returned at the end of a long day, I returned to peace, quietness, and serenity. Plus, the chickens were welcoming and calming. I hope to stay longer on my next trip to ABQ! LMG Swain

This place is so quaint! It was quiet, rustic, and cozy. Perfect for 2 people. The owners attention to detail made us feel at home. Would definitely stay here again!

This property worked very well for us with our dog. Lovely fenced area for dogs to safely explore. Mostly quiet. Nothing fancy, but very comfortable.

Lovely place with all the amenities

My fiancé and I spent two days there while traveling throughout NM and had a lovely time in this quiet, quaint, and private small apartment. We didn't interact with the hosts as the check-in process was incredibly smooth. Definitely recommend this place for a quiet getaway. Thank you!

Very quiet neighborhood, friendly owners. I really loved the flowers in the front near the door. Excellent climate control. Very nice decor and comfortable bed. Also liked that it was near the river as well as some nice local restaurants. They put out a little book for you with their favorite restaurants and other little details you might need to know. Will definitely go back!

This property met our needs very well. We needed a cool place to come home to after a day in the hot temps. It was relaxing and comfortable.

Wonderful hosts, great property, hot tub, bikes, great place!

This was a really comfortable place with privacy and lots of personal touches provided by the hosts. I enjoyed the numerous outdoor seating areas, picking herbs from the garden, and using the hot tub. My pup had a great time rolling around in the grass and chasing rabbits around the yard. This is a peaceful neighborhood with access to tons of walking and biking trails. Thanks Kevin and Wendy!

This is a nice hidden gem in Los Ranchos. Convenient location.

This "casita" west and north of downtown Albuquerque is the sort of place in the sort of setting that suits someone like me to a "T." All manner of thoughtful attention to detail inside; a charming little gazebo just outside the front door that makes a great place to sip coffee and watch for hummingbirds. Top notch!

A perfect respite for a single or couple looking for a charming hidden jewel to in the heart of ABQ! Dog friendly and every amenity has been carefully selected. Will be top of my list for a return visit. Thanks, Wendy and Kevin for making my stay for my father's funeral a much needed place of serenity.

This place was exactly as advertised. I was in town visiting friends and needed a home base. This casita fit the bill. Comfortable, clean, quiet.

Very genuinely nice accommodations in a perfect location for exploring the communities N. of ABQ. The hosts provided all sorts of helpful supplies and info that further enhanced the stay. Will likely stay here again, as we consider relocation in New Mexico.

I had a very good stay at this property. When I got there, I could not reach the owner to let them know I'd arrived, but I found her in the back yard with a young child doing crafts. There were 2 very large black dogs that barked deeply at mine, but she put them away and then invited my dogs and myself to come back. The back yard was huge and clean, so it was nice for the pups and myself to walk around after a long drive. The cottage was even cuter than in the photos, and just pristine clean. Everything that was needed was there, and the decor was lovely. The dwelling was private and super convenient for someone traveling cross-country. I could park my car right outside and unload as I liked. The front yard is also huge, and the owners shut the front gates so I could let my dogs off-leash, which was really great. We all had a wonderful night's sleep in the comfortable bed! The owners contacted me to let me know I'd left a couple items in the cottage, but although it's been 2 weeks and I gave my address, I haven't received them yet. I'm sure it's a busy time. The property was about 15 minutes from the freeway, but it was definitely worth it. This was waaaay better than an off-highway hotel!!

Nice place would certainly stay again

Unbeatable location to AIBF as we crewed for my competitor pilot/son during the week.

It had great decorating, luxurious towels, lovely bedding, nice accessories and the hosts were pleasant. Did not have time to visit the back area offered but it looked great through the Windows.

My husband I were very lucky to find this place. We were traveling from Las Cruces to a drift event and decided to stay the Sunday before labor day. The pictures do not do the property justice. The owners were so very considerate and the actual property is amazing. We will be making this a tradition as long as we live in New Mexico. Thank you for sharing your wonderful home with us.
