Second time here, we love it! Cant fault anything, great location, peaceful and spacious. Already talking about going back next year!

This villa is perfect for a quiet, hassle free getaway. It's clean, has everything you need and comfortable, with aircon in every room. The outside space is amazing! Huge terrace, lovely big pool and big sturdy parasols for avoiding the heat. The villa is also all on one level, which is perfect if you have anyone with lower mobility. The location is fab - easy to get to shops, restaurants and beaches, both on foot and by car. We had a lovely stay!! Thank you!

Casa do Campo is a lovely villa that is equipped with everything you need for a wonderful self catering holiday. An added bonus is that shops, restaurants and the beach are all within walking distance.

A beautiful villa in a fantastic location. So peaceful & quiet, not overlooked, yet a stones throw from the most wonderful beach & great bars, restaurants & supermarkets. Lovely bedrooms & bathrooms. A brilliantly equipped kitchen & comfortable lounge. The pool & patio area were spacious with comfortable sun beds & 2 huge parasols On arrival the key collection was easy & the villa was presented immaculately. Everything you could need for a home from home holiday if you wanted to self cater was there. We did a combination of visiting local restaurants & dining in on the fantastic covered patio with lovely views. It was an easy 5 minute walk to the fabulous beach, restaurants & bars. 3 good supermarkets (including Aldi) are also within a few minutes walk of the villa. We have holidayed in Gale for 13 years, this was by far the best villa we have stayed in.

Villa is super spacious and comfy with all needed amenities! Close by shops, restaurants, beach and more... Boys loved the pool and we could keep an eye on them even from kitchen. 👍 for recomendations!

Really enjoyed our stay here with family and friends. Very quiet but 5 minutes away from beach, shops and bars. We enjoyed having both environments. House well equipped, and the outside space and pool is brilliant! Only miss hap we had was, the lady didn't change our bedding or towels in the second week but no biggie to us. We will go back!

We absolutely loved our stay at the villa. Everything went smoothly with the check-in and the villa was exactly as described. The only thing we were a bit uncertain about was the alarm, but following a quick call it was explained to us. Our kids (and us for that matter) absolutely loved the pool, they were in it every day. The pool safety fence was a huge deciding factor for us when choosing a property and we were very grateful for it and the peace of mind it provided. The walk to the beach took us longer than ten minutes, but we had a 6 year old and a 2 year old with us! The beach is beautiful, and three restaurants on the beachfront to choose from (we ate at two of these, one for an evening meal and one for lunch snacks - both brilliant) also toilets and ice creams at the beach... What more could you ask for. We would happily return, and have already recommended the property to two friends.

I liked this property very much. Quite spacious and very tidy. Every inch of the house was clean and well thought of. Plenty of beds and mattress types for every taste and the both the bathrooms and kitchen were well equipped to fulfil all comum needs. The living area has plenty of entertainment solutions and both indoor and outdoor dining areas are very well placed for a relaxing meal with close access to entertainment system and kitchen on the inside and the kitchen, barbecue and pool on the outside. The pool was very sunny and got quite warm and the whole area is quiet and private enough. The beach is close enough to walk to but there is plenty of parking available close to the beach nearby if you prefer. Loved it.

Fabulous villa and extremely well equipped with everything you could need whilst away from home. The location is great as it is away from the main road so really peaceful during the day and at night its only about 8/9 minutes steady walk one way to a lovely Italian restaurant Bella Vita or 10 minutes the other way to Sao Domingoes. The Aldi supermarket is also quite close for the holiday big shop. If you prefer the Strip or Old Town its about 13 euros by taxi. The pool and outside areas are huge and lots of space to relax. Finally a massive thanks to the owner Colin as he made our arrival and departure so much easier with clear instructions for everything and also sorted our airport transfers which were great. All in all a gem of a find and we will definitely return when we can

The space inside and outside is nice. The kitchen is clean and well equipped. The location good. But it is very dusty everywhere. So dusty that it crawls in your nose and constantly has to sneeze. Furthermore, there was not cleaned properly. The floors were soaked with a kind of spritical mop, so that it looked as if they had been cleaned, but the floors remained dirty. The doors, the walls of the bathroom have to be cleaned thoroughly. Towels are old and interior is rather dated. If I compare this to the amount that we had to pay, it is out of proportion. The photos are promising and I think it was once a beautiful house. A little love needs to be put in the interior again, so the price quality is right again.

This villa is spacious, well presented, modern and well equipped for a short or long stay. The pool is an excellent size and the gardens and patio area are also spacious and well looked after. The communication and information from the owner was excellent and we would have no hesitation in recommending this property. We all enjoyed a relaxing holiday.

Have had a wonderful week in Gale. The villa is in a great position, easy walk to the beach. The outside space is exceptional, private and quiet with ample loungers and sitting areas. Spotlessly clean and extremely well equipped. We would definitely return. Thank you!!

Used to stay at his villa every year as a kid but now it's been beautiful renovated. Great location, 5 min walk to the beach and the local town. Awesome part of the Algarve

This was our second stay at this superb villa in consecutive years, and it most certainly won't be our last. Spotlessly maintained, imaginatively and impressively appointed and equipped, and exceptionally well managed. The pool is wonderful and (as in this year's case) can be fenced off to avoid accidents with adventurous grandchildren; the garden is like an oasis in the immediate area - offering shade, colour, palm trees, space, interesting features and plenty of loungers. Inside, the villa is even better than described, with its cleanliness, services, facilities and equipment! The local beaches and restaurants (no more than 5-10 minutes walk away) add to the overall 5-star rating! I would not hesitate to recommend it to friends, relatives and even casual readers of this review who I've never met - 100% confident that they would not be disappointed.

We had a lovely time at this villa and would certainly return. Everything was exactly as it was described. The rooms were comfortable and well appointed. The kitchen was equipped for cooking and eating in. The pool and garden were lovely and we spent many an afternoon chasing the sun (or shade) around the patio. The area surrounding the villa is quiet, picturesque and just a short walk to the beach. The property is perfect for a couples or family getaway.

Just got back from the absolute best week away in this gorgeous villa. Fabulous private pool area with loads of room for lying in the sun soaking up the quiet which was only broken by the bells on the goats in the field as they were grazed (couldn't be planned better). The villa was so well equipped and beautiful maintained, walking distance to shops and beach but hidden away from the main roads so lovely and quiet. We didn't want to drive so the owner arranged transfer taxis which were very reasonable and incredibly efficient. I couldn't recommend this villa more highly and the pictures don't do it the justice it deserves, beautiful beach close by with soft white sand and stunning scenery and a fab Italian restaurant,we will definitely return, a real find thank you.

Well we got back from Portugal yesterday and I just had to write to you to say what a wonderful time we had. The villa was lovely and so well equipped. We didn’t want for anything. And the pool area was much bigger than we thought – in fact the pictures didn’t do it justice. It was superb. We spent many a day lounging around enjoying the weather and having a dip when we got too hot (and it was very hot last week). The bonus was there was always a breeze so it was not too uncomfortable to have a sunbathe. We were going to hire a car but we found the walk to the beach and supermarket not too strenuous and we enjoyed strolling around. The beach bars are very good for food and the staff very friendly and accommodating. Also the supermarket had everything we wanted. A big thank you for making everything easy. From the booking of the holiday to the taxi arrangements and all your well documented information. It couldn’t have gone more smoothly. Also Alastair and Manuel were very helpful when we needed any further info. All in all a brilliant holiday. One I will remember and one I hope to return to. I can understand why you and your wife love it so much there. We didn’t want to come home!!!

It was our first time staying in a villa and I have to say we were impressed. The standard of the villa was high and we really liked the extra touches such as the beach towels and the fully equipped kitchen. It was great not to have to scrabble around for utensils etc. when cooking. The safety fence around the pool was also great for peace of mind as we travelled with a 9 month old baby who had just started crawling. The location of the villa was good - very peaceful but a short walk to the beach and shops. Great communication and help from the owners who offered a personal service from the time of booking.

This was our second visit to the villa and it was just as enjoyable as the first. We would thoroughly recommend it. It is very well equipped with excellent outside space. Set in a peaceful position yet within walking distance of a supermarket and a small selection of bars and restaurants. Have already booked for next year!!
