Beautiful Self Contained Flat In A Fine Period Country House
Durmast Haus ist ein schöner Immobilie am Ende der Fahrt zu erreichen. Das Haus liegt in einem 4 Hektar großen Garten des berühmten Edwardian Designer Gertrude Jekyll und die im Hampshire Register of Historic Gardens aufgeführt ist konzipiert gesetzt. Gäste sind willkommen, um den Garten schweifen.
Diese komfortable Wohnung verfügt über Zimmer auf zwei Ebenen und ist großzügig geschnitten. Von der Eingangshalle ist eine voll ausgestattete Küche mit Frühstückstisch und vier Stühle. Im ersten Stock gibt es ein großes Wohnzimmer mit Sitzgruppe und eine formelle Bereich. Angrenzend befindet sich das Schlafzimmer mit Doppelbett und Einbauschränken mit einem eigenen Bad ausgestattet.

We stopped for a week at the end of May and felt relaxed and at home from the very first minute. The apartment was immaculately clean and comfortable, the shower (which hasn't been mentioned much in other reviews) was superb and the gardens were a delight. The hosts were very friendly, helpful and welcoming. All parts of The New Forest and coast were easily accessible. We would certainly be happy to recommend here to others and look forward ourselves to returning in the future.

Had a lovely short break, in this very pleasant accommodation. Location is perfect for walks and discovering The New Forest. The owners were always on hand for any requests or advice and made us feel welcome. Very much enjoyed staying in this older property with character and beautiful garden. We hope to return again in the near future.

Absolutely wonderful! Property delightful and the owners very gracious and welcoming. Beautiful gardens and ideal if taking your pooch🐶. Great location for the new forest and beaches. Will most definitely go back in late spring

Despite the horrendous rain we had a lovely time. I can see the garden will be beautiful in a few month - it was just starting to bud while we were there. The short walk to the pub was enjoyable (bring a torch), and Burley village is very friendly.

A very nice apartment. The wing of an 18th century Manor house with a beautiful garden. Large and comfortable. Very quiet location but convenient for new forest sights and coast. Everything provided but shower gel, salt, pepper and cooking oil would have been welcome.

We stayed here for 5 nights over the Christmas period including Christmas Day. We were very pleased with the accommodation - very spacious, quiet and lovely and warm! The host, Philip, was very friendly but not intrusive in any way. The location is perfect for exploring the villages in the forest and for forest walks. Parking is right outside the door so very easy to unload the luggage. We hope to revisit at some point as we had a great time. Thank you, Philip.

We spent a lovely 10 nights at the flat listed. Beautiful location exactly as listed. Hosts were living downstairs and always available if we needed anything.

My Daughter and I enjoyed a very memorable stay at Durmast house in Burley. The gardens at Durmast house
hold a mysterious quality.
The flat was elegant and cleaned to a high standard.
I had the best nights sleep ever on a super comfy bed.
The bathroom is delightful and I much enjoyed my bathe.
We really enjoyed our walks and the local pub in walking distance from the property at Burley. It is easily accessible to the New forest.
I would highly recommend.

it would have been nice if there was more information about places to visit good restaurants and pubs in the area that allow dogs and not just a list of dos and donts.
also there is a dressing table but NO plug socket so i was unable to do my hair.

This is an ideal location for exploring the forest , the flat is extremely well equipped and clean. The owners welcome there guests and are always on hand if any help is required. Highly recommended

Wow ! 😊 Durmast House is the perfect location for a stay in the New forest. The apartment itself was lovely and we especially enjoyed the luxurious bathroom and the lovely large roll top bath. The gardens are beautiful even in February and we hope to return for a follow up stay later in the year.
