I arrived a bit ealrier and was lucky since the cleaning lady was around and she was helpful and openned the door for us. Eventhough we did not notify the manager of the arrival time, the unit was ready. You better call the manager ahead of arrival time to pick up the keys since there are not enough people around for prompt assistance.

A little bit costy. There are some worms wandering in the unit.

I liked the bath and the big couch on the terrace with the view to the forest.

Many things. 1. This is an airbnb style house set on booking.com. When I booked it, it was 60usd/night (quote: "when you click confirm you will pay 60usd") and it took 105 usd from my bank. Only after I got confirmation email, it said that the price doesn't include taxes and cleaning fee. I was shocked, I thought I was scammed. Of course no refunds available. 2. I also learned that it's self-check-in, no reception. I spend 6 hours at the near by restaurant until 4pm (check-in time) and arrived at the house, had to figure out which studio was mine. 3. I got in, the rooms are much darker and gloomier than in pictures. 4. The bedroom has moldy smell and windows directed to the busy road. 5. The curtains in the bathroom were transparent and a local Tico house with windows right in front of them. 6. There were a gazillion switches on the walls and I spent time figuring out which is for what. And I can go on with the list. I've learned that Vacasa is managing this property and I obviously going to stay away from the company. If I was the owner of the place, I'd be concerned. I will not be back and I already warned my friends to stay away.

it’s big.

1. it’s a fraud. we paid 56% more in the end! they charge extra: - service fee - cleaning fee - destination fee (?!) - tax I know, that it’s written somewhere on booking, but we didn’t watch out, because no other of the 7 hotels we had so far in CR did this. 2. it’s super loud, because it’s directly next to the main street, so no chilled breakfast on the terrace

Nice size and very clean

With a little more details it could be a top property , it needs better lighting outside at night, very dark, you had to turn on your phone light to see and unlock your front door
