The view, the staff, and the food were amazing. Staff were attentive and kind. I love the intimacy of this hotel and how not many people stay at once. This is perfect for people who want to relax and be low-key. I enjoyed the views of the beach from my room and the pool, and people surfing and playing beach soccer. I loved my stay!

The locks on the door weren’t my favorite. The lock takes too long to turn and open.

The hotel is located perfectly just in front of the beach with fantastic views on the waves. the pool area and beds are very comfortable, perfect to relax. the staff is super attentive, they check if you want anything to eat drink and help you with the umbrella. food drinks and coffee are good too so you could perfectly just hop between beach and hotel for a few days.

if anything a little night lamp would be a great addition.

Everything was great. Property was beautiful, the staff was great. Beds were comfortable. Showers were great.

The property should be smoke-free. At the bottom of the property, in the sandy area, too many people are smoking and then leave their cigarette butts lying around in the sand. Impossible to walk around without stepping on used cigarette buts. Either make the property non-smoking or provide something for people to discard their cigarette butts. Also, not that big of a deal, but we let them know that the first night would only have 2 people, but the second night would have 3; yet they still charged us $50 extra for the third person, even though we had a room with two beds for up to four people.

Piped in music was predominantly electro-disco which at times was annoying Construction next door was a distraction but hotel gave us a heads up beforehand

very clean, people are very nice and knowledgeable. I struggle with Spanish and they would speak to me in English. I had the same waiter each night and he was the best. my daughter swam at the beach and at the pool. everything is clean. food is delicious.

I loved everything about it. excited to come back. nothing wrong at all.

The included breakfast was great. The salmon benedict- perfect eggs!It was a great way to start the day. We absolutely loved the “honeymoon suite” view- stunning and beautiful outdoor lighting. The service was friendly and professional in Spanish or English! The room was spacious with an overhead art light and painting that was creative and a nice touch. Very clean! Everyone very accommodating and helpful, even shielding me with an umbrella one rainy night as I returned!

Too much noise! The construction pounded all day Friday(not much you can do I guess) and the day we counted on for quiet peaceful time at the pool (Sunday) was crowded and noisy with party people, one of whom really almost assaulted my daughter by touching her and sitting on our lounge bed with her — uninvited. She was pretty upset. He was smoking and charged a beer I believe to our room. Maybe more guidelines are needed. He should have been escorted out! The room lighting was very difficult with no way to brighten it if you needed to, plus the walls are a bit gloomy dark. An overhead light in the room flashed a lot so we had to find a maintenance person (Alex) to help cover it with a dark towel and tape. Thanks Alex! Finally, the bed was very comfortable but the dark sharp cornered platform it was on, made it awkward and I hit my shin on the corner of it several times (dark room made it hard to see).

Great location over the surf spot and good food

El Zunco isn’t cheap and this is not the cheapest option around but it’s worthy. music can be a bit loud in the afternoon.
