Die moderne Küche hat alle Geräte, die man erwarten würde, inklusive einer Spülmaschine. Das offene Wohnzimmer führt direkt auf die Terrasse und es gibt kostenloses Breitband-Internet WiFi in der gesamten Wohnung.

We had a relaxing time in great weather and spent the majority of our time in the apartment on the balcony as others have said. The flat suited our needs and was nicely decorated. The area does have many steps but if you pace yourself it’s fine. The ferries and the bus services are easy to navigate once you get the hang of it. Thanks Daniel and Silvana for meeting us.

Great 2 bed apartment in quiet local and friendly neighbourhood.
Apartment well equipped. Small back balcony with washing facilities. Front terrace with large table and quality sun loungers with the best view over the harbour to Valletta and Birgu.
Large shower with constant hot water. Air conditioning in the apartment although the unit in the spare room broken when we visited. Fan available.
No car needed, public transport near by and easy to get around. Public ferry to Valletta from Birgu (20 mins walk) €2 each way or within a weekly public transport ticket you can purchase. Preferred using local Luzzu wooden boats…same price, run by local families, beautifully maintained, felt like we were investing more in the local economy.
Lots of restaurants within walking distance and local ‘corner’ grocer shops where you could buy fresh produce, essentials, soya milk(!), in fact vegan and vegetarian diets well catered for.
Used a taxi to get from airport to the apartment. Taxi booking office in the airport terminal, no booking ahead needed. You can also book and pay for a return trip at the same time which all worked out perfectly. Pay upfront and just confirm time and location the day before you return. €20 each way. Good contact and driver on time.
If using a taxi, drop off and pick up at St Phillip’s Church in Sanglea, and then just walk down a short set of steps to the door of the apartment. Travel light. Streets are hilly and lots of steps. English spoken everywhere.

We loved staying in this flat. The views from inside and from the balcony made this such an exciting vacation spot as you can watch all the harbour activity, have great views of the cannon firings and fireworks, and enjoy the picturesque views of Valletta. The apartment itself was very clean and comfortable and we enjoyed the artwork on the walls. Everything was perfect and as described.

A really lovely apartment with great views across the harbour. Very comfortable too! We really enjoyed sitting out on the terrace (electric awnings provide shade if needed). Easy to get into Valletta with either the ferry or Uber etc. A great place overall. Many thanks to Daniel, and his father who met us on arrival.

This is the second time for us as that view is to die for. Constantly fascinated with the boats coming and going. Love all the activity. The flat is comfortable and in a great quiet area. Minutes to the seafront and plenty of restaurants etc to choose from. We will probably make it a third time when I accumulate more holiday!

First time in Malta. A one month winter holiday. This spot was exactly what we two Canadian seniors hoped for. A genuine neighbourhood, close to bus and ferry, very comfortable space for us to feel like locals for our month. The terrace and view were superb. We love ships and there was always activity to see in the Grand Harbour. Daniel was quick to answer and address any questions. His Dad, Joseph, met us in the church square and guided us to the apt and showed us all that we needed to know. Bed was comfortable as was the sofa and chair. Used the washer and drying rack. Nearby confectionery shops had nearly everything you could want with 2 butchers, a pharmacy, and hardware store close by. We ate on the Senglea and Birgu waterfronts a few times. For us, a 15 minute walk to ferry to Valletta and an 8 minute walk to the bus. Bolt taxi would let us off in the church square, about 45 stairs away from the apt. After busy days touring and visiting it was conforting coming home to the peaceful apt. As previously written, yes, there are stairs everywhere, we learned the routes with the least. The apt is on the 4th floor, a small elevator brings you (and 1 suitcase) to 3rd, then you climb one flight. Apt was bright and the back balcony with the washer was facing south for the maximum sun to dry the laundry. We loved Malta and the best part was this ideal spot. Thanks Daniel and Joseph.

This apartment more than satisfied our requirements. The view of the harbour was fantastic and it was easy to get to Valletta by the ferry. We will return but I will have to get fitter

Danial was wondering with communications and answering questions. The location was quiet and yet close to restaurants and the ferry to Valletta. This made a great base for our time in Malta.

Fabulous apartment with a magnificent view of the grand harbour and a very spacious terrace . Lots of restaurants on the doorstep and a regular local ferry service to get across to Valetta . Daniel the host was very easy to deal with and Sylvana the lady who checked us in was really helpful . We would love to stay again , highly recommended

The apartment offers fabulous views across the Grand Harbour and is an ideal location for visiting the 'Three Cities' and all they have to offer
Nearby restaurants are excellent. Plenty of things to do without needing a car which can be easily accessed by walk harbour taxis or taxis,
The apartment is comfortable but certain areas are in need of a 'refresh'
It should be noted that the apartment is on the 3rd floor accessed via a stone spiral staircase. There is a small lift up to the 2nd floor. Parking is not easy. Most of the time we had to park close to the harbour which involved climbing many stone steps up to the apartments front door

Senglea offers a welcome relaxed vibe with its waterfront restaurants a mere five minute stroll from the apartment. It was nice to mix visits to bustling and vibrant Valletta (a 10 minute ferry journey from Senglea) with the more relaxed location of the apartment. The view from the terrace was spectacular.

We very much enjoyed staying in Daniel’s apartment, the location was perfect and the view is amazing, we all enjoyed staying in Senglea and visiting Valletta, Gozo and Comino.
Daniel was a wonderful host, he was extremely helpful and very attentive; he really wants you to be happy and to have a lovely holiday - which we did! Malta is a lovely island, and we would definitely like to come back and visit here again!

We stayed in Daniel's apartment for 12 days and could have easily stayed much longer. First things first, the terrace. Lots of privacy, stunning views, and sun all day guaranteed - it is even better than in the photos. It’s what really makes this apartment a memorable and unique experience!
We more or less spent all our time outside on the terrace, but the apartment offers great quality indoors as well. It’s very spacious and benefits from air-conditioning everywhere (top floor so much needed in high summer). The living area feels cozy, features interesting decorative objects and benefits from the same stunning views. A good working coffee machine would really top it off.
Location is great too, near the marina and within walking distance of the ferry to Valletta. A small local supermarket can be found nearby, as well as a couple of nice restaurants on the quay outside the apartment. Parking in the direct vicinity was easily available and free (parking on the island is generall free)
Daniel and his dad were very welcoming and friendly throughout the whole process and any issues we encountered were quickly resolved.
We would absolutely recommend this place and are already thinking of our next stay!

Ok let’s start with the view… in a word WOW! Apartment is well equipped with some nice added extras (appreciated the Bluetooth speaker). Host was easily accessible and very helpful. Senglea is a wonderful home base to visit all the sites of Malta. The neighbours and shop keepers are very friendly. We will miss our daily visit with Tyson the boxer!

The location is what makes this property. The views from the terrace over looking Valletta are great and you never tire of them.
It was great being able to jump on the ferry over to Valletta but it was also nice being able to come back and escape the hustle and bustle of the busy city.

Lovely apartment with an amazing view. The neighbourhood and surrounds is quiet and safe with beautiful old buildings. A few restaurants on the waterfront and a couple of convenience stores a short walk away.
The apartment is on the third floor with a small vacuum lift going up 2 levels. The last level has a spiral stair case. The stairs to the apartment were not a problem but be warned there are stairs in every direction once you get out of the building itself.
Daniel was a pleasure to deal with and left a bottle of lovely white wine, some beer and a big bottle of water. Daniel’s brother David met us on arrival and took our bags up to the apartment which was such a help.

This apartment has an amazing view over the port to Valletta and Fort Angelo. The terrace is great. It is very convenient for the short ferry ride to Valetta. It is a quiet and in an old part of the town but not far from restaurants. It was also close to bus stop for travel around the island. It was carnival time so it was a good time to visit but staying in Senglea meant we got away from the party noise when we got back to the apartment. There are alot of stairs so not the best if you have any mobility problems.

This property is located in the heart of Malta. It is close to the ferry so day trips to beautiful Valletta were cheap and easy, so much to see and do! The view from the balcony is stunning!! the neighborhood has lots of places to buy groceries wine...The hosts are kind and pleasant to deal with. This was my first time with Air B&B and I was very impressed!!

Very smart flat, which is well equipped, comfortable, clean and has fantastic views over the grand harbour. Plenty of restaurants and cafes within walking distance. A pleasant waterside walk takes you to the ferry to Valetta. I dont think the view can be beaten and we shall certainly return.

We stay at many short-stay properties and this is our new favorite!
The views are second to none of the citadel directly across, and Valletta is off to one side and looks amazing!
It's about a 10-minute walk to the ferry which runs every 30 minutes. Your ferry ticket includes an elevator ride from the waterfront up to Valletta. We purchased a 7 day pass for 10 Euro each so we could come and go as we wanted.
You'll never tire of the amazing view from the apartment and the large terrace!

We wanted a peaceful few days in Malta in beautiful surroundings and that is exactly what we got. It’s a beautiful apartment with everything we needed for our stay and the view from the balcony was to die for! The owner was so accommodating about our early check in and kindly left us snacks and drinks. The apartment is situated in a quiet and beautiful part of the island with a few good restaurants and bars within a short walk.

This is a wonderful property and we would highly recommend it. The location is breathtaking, from the stunning veranda views, the beautiful and peaceful Senglea and the abundance of waterside restaurants within 5 minutes walk. There are plentiful steps around the building and directly to the property itself, so not ideal for people with mobility problems. The check-in was excellent and we were met by Joseph, who showed us round and made us feel welcome. Communication with Daniel during our stay and prompt and friendly. Locals shops are available and we were greeted with biscuits, beers and wines on arrival. The property is equipped to a very high standard. We would entirely recommend this property without hesitation. For 10 euro you can buy unlimited ferry crossings to Valletta for 7 days, which run every 30 minutes and can be found about 15 minutes walk from the door. We had a wonderful time.

We felt safe in this neighbourhood. Shower and all appliances worked as expected, including the three airconditioning units. There is a mechanical sunscreen on the terrace over the sunbeds, and plants. You can buy the most basic groceries in the street below the front door. Friendly host.

Amazing flat and location!
We had such a fantastic stay here! The view from the balcony is just breathtaking and the flat itself is clean and very comfortable. Communication with Daniel was quick and check-in was easy with his dad. There was even some food and drinks left for us which left a great first impression :)The Senglea area is quiet, full of great restaurants, within walking distance to the water taxi to get to Valletta and also to Fort St. Angelo which is located directly across. Take time on the balcony just to boat watch as they come and go to/from the port. The best Vrbo we've stayed at so far and would not hesitiate to come back again! Thanks Daniel and Joseph :)

Excellent location albeit a few stairs to deal with
A nice property, very well equipped. Plenty of nice restaurants locally and well placed for a fast link to Valletta.
A few niggles:
Its on the third floor and while there's a lift to the second you'll need to negotiate the 20 odd steps to the front door.
The second bedrooms not great and you'll probably find the only cupboards full of cussions etc. I stuffed them under the bed to give a little storage room.
The paintings are not for everyone's taste (nude male torsos and girl with a dead bird on a beach)
The balcony's great but its a pity a lot of its taken up by some covered outdoor furniture. Some of the furniture that is there has seen better days.

Fantastic panorama!
You could ask for a better view of the Grand Harbour and Burgu waterfront from the terrace. The apartment is ideal for a couple, well furnished and equipped. Communication with the owner was spot on and our early arrival was accommodated. Steps to the apartment are typical of Malta - steep! So not great if you have mobility problems. Otherwise great!

The penthouse was perfect, as written up by Daniel, we had a brilliant holiday. The balcony gave all day sun, great vistas of Valletta, Birgu and the passing cruise liners, some of which were HUGE!
Daniel will be aware of why only 4 * for online listing, so I see no reason to write about it.
I would love to return to this place next time I visit this wonderful island of Malta.

Stunning view
Without doubt, one of the best views of the grand harbour with a huge terrace (albeit furniture getting a bit tired). The apartment is spacious with 2 good sized bedrooms, plenty of storage, and a good sized bathroom and well appointed kitchen. Plenty of cafes, bars and restaurants within a short walk.

Excellent apartment with all amenities. Great for relaxing on the sun terrace and access to all the history of Valletta and her three cities. Daniel is a considerate host and was very informative pre holiday and during. Highly recommended.

Amazing Location
This has to be one of the best located apartments in the 3 cities. The view across the Grand Harbour to Valletta and Fort St Angelo is spectacular, enlivened by regular boat traffic. Senglea is a perfect base for exploring, with the advantage of restaurants and bars all around the harbour and into Birgu. The regular ferry means it's an easy and scenic journey into Valletta itself. The apartment is well appointed with everything you need.

Book this place immediately!
I honestly can't say enough about this property. The view is even better in person (if that is possible) and we loved the town of Senglea. It is more of a sleepy town and was just perfect for what we wanted. You are an easy ferry ride from Valletta, where you can explore the capital and beyond.
The place itself is great. There are two bedrooms, a nice bathroom, a fully stocked kitchen with some drinks and snacks and a seating area where we enjoyed our wine when we weren't out on the beautiful deck. Below Deck was even filming across from us when we were there. We definitely stalked them with the provided binoculars most nights.
There is a small lift that takes you up a couple of floors but there are steps from there up to the place so this is not conducive to someone who has trouble walking stairs. There are also quite a few stairs to get to and from the ferry so be aware if you are booking this place. Honestly that is the only knock against the place and for most people that is not an issue.
Daniel's dad was there to check us in and even came to rescue us when the lift wasn't working (user error)! We all said that this place absolutely made our trip to Malta. We wouldn't have had the same experience in another location and couldn't have found a better host. Do not hesitate to book this place. You will fall in love (and never want to leave)!

Spectacular Spot
We were taken back with the spectacular views and the great location. The flat met all of our needs from the kitchen being just as described and the excellent communication from Daniel. This spot really made for an outstanding trip and I would highly recommend this property.

Great location, easy to commute by boat to Valletta , only couple of minutes. The view is one of the best views you can find. Property was as it is descriped and chessing in with Joseph was very smootj.
