Beautiful villa with the most fantastic pool and BBQ area! We stayed for a week and enjoyed visiting stunning local beaches Marinha and Carvalho just a short drive away, travelling along the coast to Odeceixe and Tavira. We spent a couple of days lounging by the pool with lunch at local restaurants in Porches a BBQ by the pool in the evening. Also have to mention our fun day out with our 12 and 14 year old at Slide and Splash just ten mins away -we’ll worth the visit! The location is great and the villa is well equipped and tastefully decorated. The master bedroom is huge with its own balcony and the lounge is so comfortable with a huge screen for movie night! We will definitely return! Thank you to Anita for the warm welcome and to Carmen for her gorgeous home.

Lovely clean well kept villa which has everything you need from kitchen ware to pool towels, Sun loungers, kids pool ball, TV, air con, hair dryer, cleaning equipment etc. The second bedroom was downstairs. Outside area was stunning, lots of shade with numerous umbrellas and a great bbq! Pool was safe for kids at the shallow end and by the end of our holiday our 6 year old was swimming lengths! Definitely need a car though, as the main beach & restaurants are a short drive away. We discovered lots of other little beaches 10-20 mins away. Our advice would be to get to the beach car parks by 10am as they get very full up, but we did visit in peak holiday season. Supermarket is 5 mins drive down the hill and had everything we needed. Would highly recommend the villa and the area for a small family looking to self cater and get around by car.

We (2 adults and 2 children - 9 and 11) have recently come back from a great stay at this villa. Carmen (the owner) was very helpful and answered emails very promptly and covered any questions we had. Anita who was there to welcome us was very friendly and gave us all the information we needed about the villa and the area. The villa has everything you need for your stay and the location is perfect. The pool is much bigger than in the photos and was warmer than we expected and gets the sun all afternoon. The BBQ was used nearly every night and was great. We walked towards the little village a few times and had a coffee in one of the little bars, which was very cheap. I'd definitely recommend this villa as it is in a great location for the airport, beaches and waterparks and has everything that you need. We will definitely be back. Thank you once again. Jaime

We had a brilliant holiday and loved the swimming pool and villa. There was plenty of sunloungers etc in the outdoor space and the shape of the building allowed for shade and direct sun...something for everyone. Anita was very helpful and everything was what it said online.

We had a fabulous 10 day stay in this delightful villa and I really recommend it. Really impressed by the cleanliness - it was super clean - and comfort - there was everything you could possibly need. Loved the sofa which was perfect for relaxing when the weather was cloudy and in the evenings. And the bed was huge and very comfortable. There’s a powerful shower and effective, and quiet, air con. Overall it felt light and airy and Carmen has managed to make it feel comfortable and homely without feeling like you are intruding in someone else’s home. The outdoor space was great with a pool area that got all day sun and with space to lounge, eat and relax. The large balcony was perfect for a drink in the evenings. The village is also very nice and close by. All the restaurants we used were really good, the stand out being the Rolha Wine Bar. We didn’t explore the area but it was well placed for doing so if that’s what you want to do. But, if you want a ‘fly and flop’ holiday then there’s no need to hire a car if you don’t want to, everything was within walking distance and the larger supermarket is only a 4e taxi ride away. This villa is fabulous for a relaxing stay in a lovely village. Genuinely can’t recommend it enough.

Had a wonderful 12 days. Weather was amazing. The villa has everything you could possibly need for a fantastic vacation. The outdoor space is much larger than expected and offers both shade and sun from sun up until sundown. We love the sun and from 9am we could set up on one side of the pool, then move to the other depending on the time of day. The pool is lovely, quite warm at this time of the year without being heated. The villa itself if clean and well laid out. The main bedroom is very large with a big balcony. Aircon an added bonus as it is really is warm. Kitchen has everything you need to prepare your own meals and there are several eateries within walking distance. I would recommend a car, as Porches is only 10 mins away from main supermarkets and beaches. Hubby loved the tv as there are more sports channels than we have at home. Lots of films too, if you can wrestle the remote free. Porches is a quaint village with a mix of locals and tourists, bigger than we expected. We used Yor car for the first time and found them cheap and reliable, we will use them again and we will definitely return to the villa. The villa was a real home from home experience. Anita who met us after our flight showed us everything and was very much on hand to help if we needed it. Both inside and out were spotless. A well maintained pool that was very welcoming when they days were hot. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to stay and would definitely look at coming back again. We are a late 30s married couple
