Large house in a peaceful and quiet neighborhood right outside of Paris. There is plenty of room for an entire family and easy access to shopping and public transportation. Bernadette is sweet and friendly. I would highly recommend her home to all families!

We had a wonderful stay in this lovely home. It was well furnished with everything we needed for our family of five. My husband and I, our two teenage sons and my brother in law were so happy to be in a house with some space after staying in apartments in other cities where we were in close quarters. The host, Bernadette, is so kind. She had very helpful suggestions and advice for our stay. She was patient and accommodating when our flight was changed causing us to arrive much later than expected. The neighborhood is very nice and quiet and the home is just a short walk from a market, restaurants and the train station. Our only complaint is that our stay was so short. We hope to come back again one day, and we would happily stay in this house again.

We rent houses in this area more often, this was our second stay in Mme Janin’s house. We’ve had a very pleasant stay. The RER is very close, the house is spacious and comfortable and it has a fantastic garden. Mme Janin is very kind. We hope to come again🙂

This is a bright and spacious house with lovely furniture in a quiet tree-lined residential road, very close to a RER station with frequent, inexpensive trains to Paris, and a large 24h supermarket next to the RER station. There is an excellent bakery very close, and there are local restaurants nearby. The owner Bernadette welcomed us when we arrived at the house, explained everything about keys, heating etc, and was easily contactable thereafter. We loved staying here and hope we will be able to return at some point in the future.

My wife, two kids 12 and 13 and mother in law spent 10 days at this house. It was the perfect setup for our trip in every way. The home had everything we needed. The location was ideal. The neighborhood was great. Bernadette was a fantastic host. It really was perfect.

Fantastic located property and just a stone throw away from puplic transport,shopping and a great bakery with local specialities. The house has all needed amenities and plenty of space. The host 'Bernadette' is a very lovely lady with plenty of tips to discover Paris and its attractions. Thanks for the lovely stay!

It's a lovely home with some modern features and also some authentic details which adds to the character. The garage is a big plus as parking can be a bit of an issue in Paris. There's plenty of room for 7 guests. It's only a 5 minute walk to the metro station and in 20 minutes you're in the center of Paris. Also shops like a supermarket and bakery are close by. We can really recommend this house as a place to stay for a visit to Paris.

We had a great 6 day stay in St. Maur at Bernadette's rental. It's a very cute traditional home in the suburbs of Paris. Plenty of room for our family of 5 plus one friend. The downstairs single bed and bath provide nice privacy for anyone looking for a little independence. We found all appliances to work well, and the heat warm in early April nights in the 30s (F). The beds were all comfortable and ample towels provided. One should realize it's about a 45 min. train ride to the downtown tourist spots, if that's your goal. However, the neighborhood is nice and safe, and it's only a 5 min. walk to the train station at LaVarenne.

The property was as described. After staying in apartments across Germany/France the family was excited to have an entire house. Everyone was able to spread out and have their own space. We travelled to Downtown Paris each day. The commute was 45 mins to an hour. It was nice to come back to a quiet neighborhood after being in the busy downtown. There is a bakery and grocery store within walking distance. We had dinner several nights at the restaurants a couple blocks away.

We loved there was enough room to move around! The house was just as we pictured a French house to be! We were nice & close to trains! We loved this property!

6 of us have just returned from our stay at this property and we absolutely loved it. Our group - two grandparents, us two and our two children (6 and 5) loved this property. It was easy to navigate into the centre of Paris, with the RER A taking us straight to Chatelet to start most of our exploring. We bought 5 day passes in advance for the RER and metro which worked perfectly. The house was a really comfortable base, from heading into La Varenne for a meal on our first night, breakfast from the local boulangerie each day and heading into Paris to explore some sights. We went to the Pompidou Centre, the Eiffel Tower, Sainte Chapelle and boat trip on the Seine. We returned happily tired at the end of each day. Of course, with three days to explore we didn't really scratch the surface and there are plenty more places we want to see, including exploring the area near the house some more. We had a french tea in the house each evening. and the local supermarket was a great start for this - again we only began to scratch the surface of all the wine and cheese! I think this property is great value - it comfortably fitted all six of us, and although I loved seeing Paris in the Autumn, the house looks perfectly set for long summer evenings as well. We'll just have to come back.

After a warm welcome by Bernadette and her husband, we happily settled in their comfortable house. Everything was exactly as described, even better. The house is equipped with everything one needs when traveling away from home. There is also a large variety of useful information about places to visit in Paris including maps. The neighborhood is peaceful and relaxing. We enjoyed its delicious bakeries and grocery stores. The train station (R&R) is at a 5-minute walk from the house. It is very practical to use to visit Paris. We always enjoyed going back to the house after our long days visiting Paris. We strongly recommend this beautiful house.

Great place to stay for a trip to Paris. Train station just a few minutes walk away. The house was the perfect place to relax in after a days sightseeing and had everything we needed. Our first holiday in Paris was great as this villa we stayed.We loved it from the first moment we walked in.Was very very spacious and u can find everything u need on it.Bernadette is so kind as she will provide u with everything u need even extras.The villa is well situated,just 20min from city centre and the area is so quiet and peaceful.We would highly recommend this place for a big family or a group of friends as we were.Is the perfect place for the perfect holiday.Thank you Bernadette!

We had a wonderful trip to Paris, and we loved the time spent in this home. Bernadette was extremely helpful and accommodating even when we arrived much later in the evening than we expected. The home itself was clean, peaceful, relaxing and full of character...we loved opening all the shutters and enjoying the fresh air. We used the train, which was only a 5 minute walk from the home, and took advantage of the 2 day visitor pass with unlimited rides. The local bakeries are also withing walking distance and definitely worth a visit!We would highly recommend this property to anyone wanting to visit Paris and vicinity. Coming from the US, it was a perfect home base for us to explore this beautiful city.
