The house has plenty of space. Our family enjoyed our stay. The washer and dryer are a big plus. Also the kitchen is well stocked.

House was what we needed for our annual family trip. It was close to the beach, in a nice neighborhood, walking distance to a lot of things and affordable. Best aspect of the house for us was the living space as it provided enough space for all of us to gather, chat, cook, eat and play games. Also, the pantry was key for all of our food! There were a few things that could have been fixed, but minor. Otherwise I would say the showers in the house could have been updated and there were small ants in the kitchen. Thanks for a great week!

The location of property was fine. There was plenty of room for the 9 of us. We had an issue with the roof top cushions but the owners replaced them within a day! The only thing that was a problem was the TV’s in master bedroom downstairs and in the bunk room had no remotes that matched the name on the tv. We didn’t tell proper Manager about this bit just a heads up. The floors in the screened in porch and roof top need to be deeply cleaned. Our feet were so dirty after walking on them. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Great location to beach and all other activities. We had 11 people staying and there was plenty of room. We did have an ant problem in the kitchen, but not a real big deal. Overall the house is great but could use a little maintenance here and there. Again, not a big deal. The biggest complaint from all that stayed was the beds. They could be upgraded. Overall we had a great time there for our second year.

The house was great and perfect for our family. The walk to the beach was easy for us and plenty of space for the 11 of us that we weren't all on top of each other. The rooftop deck was a nice bonus as we got to see a rocket launch from Wallops Island while we were there. The only complaint was due to the housekeeping. The kitchen counters did not appear to have been cleaned prior to our arrival and there was a swimsuit left in one of the bathrooms. Makes you wonder if they cleaned the bathroom at all. There was only one house key which wasn't a problem for us, but could be for other groups and there was only 1 South Bethany parking pass but we didn't even use the one.

My family really enjoyed our stay here. We had my wife and I with our 2 kids, My sister/brother in law and their 5 kids, and my parents. Ages ranged on kids from 15 to 5.
Space: At no time did we feel like we were on top of each other or packed in too tightly. The living area that’s connected to the kitchen and dining room has ample space. The couch set up and seats around the large bar top in the kitchen made it easy for us all to move around and not feel overcrowded.
Location: The location is perfect. You’re a 2 minute walk to the beach. The house is in a community on the bayside and the house backs up to coastal hwy. It’s positioned far enough back from the road though that you never feel like you’re near it. You can walk out of the house, walk 100 yards, and you’re right at the crosswalk on coastal. press a button, street signs light up, and cars stop so you can walk across. You come into the beach side community, walk another 100 yards, & your feet touch sand. We brought our golf cart and never used it
Cleanliness: Only negative is the cleaning company the property management company uses. They weren’t thorough. Expect to do an hour of cleaning upon arrival. You have to bring your own linens and towels but I recommend bringing your own pillows and comforters as well. The ones they have should be thrown out honestly.
Amenities: A bonus was everything they provided with the house: 6 bikes, beach push carts & chairs, kayak, stand paddle & boogie boards, toys,

I believe that this home is an excellent place for a family to spend a beach vacation! There was plenty to do in Bethany Beach and Rehobeth Beach as well as close proximity to Ocean City Maryland!

Great House and Town
We stayed in the Bethany Beach house for a few winter months after we moved from CA. It was great to have a furnished place to stay in while we explored the area. The house was big and comfortable and had everything we needed while our stuff was in storage. Even though a lot of places close during the winter months there were still plenty of restaurants nearby. Our favorite was Summer Salts which you can walk to from the house. We loved the house and the community and are currently looking to buy in DE.

Great week
The Property Manager Jeremy was great to work with. The home is In a great location close to the beach and within walking distance of restaurants, bars and Ice cream. Nice family atmosphere in the neighborhood and on the beach. The smell from the washing machine was not noticeable during our stay and the home was cleaned nicely before our arrival. We would rent this home again.

2 outdoor showers, outdoor faucet with hose and clothes line with clips made post beach clean-up very easy.

CONS:
Heavy mildew smell on first level. Major source seemed to be the washing machine gasket. We used a washing machine cleaner on it twice. Recommend that renters be instructed to leave open when not in use, as there is always some amount of water in the HE machines. Odor dropped significantly after this.
We also replaced the moldy shower curtain in shared bath on first level.
Whole house needs a “deep clean.” Grimy baseboards. Toilet brushes should be replaced. Master bedroom carpet really dirty and stained.
Dishwasher door is “floppy.” Must be locked to keep in upright position.
Ice maker didn’t really work.
Kitchen faucet needs to be replaced.
Vacuum bags were overfull and no replacement bags were found, so couldn’t vacuum.
Broom with broken off handle should be replaced.
All sofas/couches very lumpy/saggy. They should be replaced.

Fabulous Home!
Thanks for a great beach vacation! The house is beautiful and was very clean! The four bedrooms and den downstairs is a nice arrangement . The 2nd master bed/bath worked perfectly for my MIL. The rooftop deck is a nice touch! The outside showers were clean and convenient for rinsing sand. Overall we loved our stay and planning on booking again for next year!

The beach house was beautiful and had everything we needed and more. It was close to the beach and was very comfortable. The only issue we had was when we checked in. The first thing we noticed were the entrance floors were sandy, there was garbage in some of the cans, and there was a lot of trash under the trundle bed when we pulled it out. ( candy wrappers, water bottles, etc. )
The only reason I mentioned the above was so the cleaning service was made aware.

So the 3 stars are primarily owing to miscommunication on booking. We were given this 96 S May vacation home in lieu of another one. We were very happy with the home overall. The space was clean, big, and family friendly and all of us were comfortable including kids! There were plenty of supplies, games, entertainment options that added to our pleasant experience. There were couple problem areas - the mild and mildew smell as soon as entering was obnoxious. We were worried about it since we had kids but we just opened windows and let some fresh air and sunlight do its role. That helped! But definitely something to look into - especially on the first floor. Then, the entrance door wasnt easy to unlock and lock; we figured our way but that could use some fixing too. Other than that, the place was great! The deck and roof ate especially a treat!! We had good weather so we were able to enjoy the property pretty well!

Loved the house last year
This year when you walked in you were hit with a strong mildew smell. The oven had so much crud on the bottom it smoked whenever you used it. There were feces on the toilet. The spreads and blankets were filthy and needed washed. I have been renting beach houses for 30 years so I understand it won't be as clean as my house but this was the worst I have ever dealt with.

It smelled that way last year too. The garbage disposal didn't work and the dishwasher backed up into the sink. The house was not very clean. The tv in the one bedroom did not work 2 years in a row. When you spend a lot of money for vacation and it is not what you expect, needless to say we will not book this house again.

The grill was filthy. I paid over $5000 for a one week rental and no sheets or towels were provided. The furniture in the main area was old and covered with the equivalent of sheets. There was a distinct cat pee smell in the dining area. Not real happy.

The house was great. The beds were very comfortable. Plenty of room and not far from the beach. We loved the screened in porch but the rooftop was our favorite place to hang out.

Beautiful home but not clean
We had a great week but there were a few thinks to the house that was not appealing! When we got there the house had a lot of sand in it! Bathrooms had a blood stain on the wall & wet toilet tissue in the other one! Broken screen on porch that we took down so kids wouldn't get hurt! Also smoke detector in one room was removed! I have pictures of them all! Let me know how to sent them to you!

The house was beautiful and very well appointed. It even had a couple of bikes along with a wagon and beach toys, all of which we put to good use. The kids loved the outside screened porch and especially loved the top deck where you could look out over everything.
The adults loved the large family room with plenty of seating and a big screen TV.
The beach access was good and the beach wasn't overcrowded as so many are.

Nice Place to stay with Friend ans Famalies
Every Year I travel to One New Beach location with Couple of Friends. 2012 took us to Ocean City MD.
This is the Nice Place I always I recommend this full hearty. This place is well maintained by Owners. I see the note in the house saying treat this house as your Own house.
Nice Parking, Few mins to Beach affordable Price, all the friends and kids enjoyed a lot.
I request to Owner to get the New Grill (Gas/Coal). This is the only one needs to be updated. we brought one new from near by Gaint for $50.00 and used it.
